This was our first stay in an all-inclusive. (We generally stay in five-star hotels.) Our experiences with food, drinks and overall service exceeded our expectations. We had basic rooms without views, but considering what we paid was adequate. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There wasn't much to do without expensive excursions from the on-site tour company. We ended up renting a car and arranging better activities (jet skis and a trip to Chichen Itza) for less money. Wines by the bottle cost as much as they would in a normal restaurant, so we stuck with they adequate wines they served by the glass for free. Food upgrades such as a nice steak (US$90) or lobster/crayfish (US$84) were also priced higher than I would expect in an all-inclusive. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to others.

Long post. I giving 3 stars for multiple reasons. I still had a great time but I did get mad when I did the check out. 1. I got the cheapest room so I really don’t have too much to complain about. They do a very good job keeping rooms clean. 2. It was our first time in cancun, we were a group of 6, 4 adults 2 kids. It’s my third time in an all inclusive and I’ve never experienced so many people trying to make you buy something, they have multiple people in the lobby area all day trying to make you purchase something, especially massage; Which are extremely expensive prices for a massage. At first I did planned to get a massage and I let the woman to sell her stuff, I put my name down (mistake) and I told her I will check prices and stuff and talk later, she still book a massage not for 1 but for 6 bc I told her we were 6. I did ask her like if putting my name will make a charge or how that work, she assured that nothing would happen if I don’t get massage I don’t get charge. The day she book me I wasn’t in the hotel, we spent that day exploring. So, by the time I check out the charge me 500$ for massage for 6 people. I fought but I was in a rush for my flight so this is obviously a way to scam. 3. The situation with the rest at night is very disappointing, they don’t take reservations but if you buy a bottle of wine or spend some money, they will do a reservation and treat you like a king, otherwise you will have to stand outside even before they open and wait even for hours. We discover that random, one night that when we finally got to eat in the Mexican restaurant, we made a reservation for the Italian restaurant that night by buying another wine, which turn out that they didn’t have and, we picked other and they charged even the bottle we didn’t drink and bc all of this come out by check out time, you don’t have too much time to argue. 4. Overall people is very nice in Mexico, felt clean everywhere, cool pool for kids, kids club with activities, very family friendly. It’s pretty big but didn’t feel too much, easy to get to their beach area, their beach is great.

For our first trip to Mexico decided to go with an All-inclusive. Wyndham Alltra has decent reviews and videos so we bit the bullet and went for it. The room was a sight for sore eyes with the ocean front balcony for sun rises out of bed and the ocean waves crashing everytime you open the balcony door. Love the views and accessibility to the public beach right from the resort itself. However if you or anyone in your travellling party are foodies or folk with good taste, we were severely disappointed. Mexican food *in Mexico???* was very subpar. Veg options are minimal and taste close to cardboard. The people are kind, but you'll be basically harassed like a market everytime you're in the lobby with the hotel sale staff asking to book excursions with them. I understand they got a job, but leave the guests alone. We ignored them after they wouldn't stop pesturing when I verbally said stop. Also western culture has destroyed the all-inclusive experience by needing to tip everyone imaginable. You've already paid thousands to the resort, but folks are still tipping bartenders, servers etc every time. The odd one sure, but staff have come to expect it. Really unfortunate. Regarding the location, we were able to get out to visit a few local markets and the prime shopping area within a 30min walk, all our shuttles came to the hotel main lobby which was great for accessibility.

We were incredibly happy here! These were truly perfect days—flawless in every way. The hotel is impeccable, with outstanding facilities! Our room felt like paradise, and the beds… like sleeping on clouds! The food and drinks were of the highest quality—I honestly don’t know how I’ll go back to eating at home after experiencing such deliciousness, haha. Mexican people are amazing—so warm, welcoming, and kind! We were embraced with so much care and love. It’s incredibly easy to feel at home when you’re in Mexico. We want to send a big hug to everyone at the hotel. Your work is flawless, and you are all wonderful people. May God bless you all abundantly!

We visited with a family of 4. We truly enjoyed our stay from check in/out. The hotel is in a great location with beach access. They have 2 pools and several restaurants for dining. We enjoyed the food and thought the pools were a nice size. My kids loved the water slides. They did go to the kids club once and had fun. My major con is the staff trying to constantly get you to listen to a time share like presentation. We were hounded the first 2 days. After that I could not be polite anymore. I was out of NO THANK YOUs. We just stopped responding. Other than that we enjoyed the stay.
