Honestly a beautiful place, great location. The beaches are calm & full of fish. I love that the water is so clear. They have plenty of options as far as natural beach or pools. The way it’s entwined with nature is gorgeous, got monkeys on my balcony! Would highly recommend. Service is amazing everyone is so friendly & I got a mini cake on my birthday. Breakfast & lunch have been very tasty- Janet, Carlos & Diego at the club playa are exceptional! Great service!! Only downside for this hotel is that dinner is sub par- desserts for dinner are good. But dinner they need to step it up. Especially since if you aren’t a “royal level” you only get one dinner spot. No complaints about breakfast or lunch, so I’m not sure what’s the deal with dinner. Another pro- they have two easy access entrances to the Xcaret park! So great location all around!

The experience, all together, was great. The room was ok, it was clean but if you use the hot water long enough it comes out brown. One of the liquor bottles was recapped… it was nearly empty.. the others were new. There was a spider that crawled from in between the welcome fruit but that’s expected in the jungle. The restaurants “looked good”. Most were booked so we didnt get to indulge. We did get lucky and showed up at 530 to get a table at the oriental. Luckily it rained so most people cancelled. All the other restaurants..(buffet and beach house) accommodated our hunger. The Italian place was ok.. nothing spectacular to talk about. Paco’s taco and the pizza place was ok for quick eats as well. The beach club was good for kids because it was shallow and there wasn’t much of a tide. We did like the mini river walk and how easy it was to access xcaret park. Also, if you’re staying at the resort, check out the shows.. The sports bar and discotech is open late. Great for people watching and hanging out. Book the xplor excursion… worth it. Probably had the best time there.

I would suggest strongly to get a room with concierge service or better . We ordered on Expedia and paid for concierge service but also requested a disability room as I have had knee surgery and cannot be on 3rd floor without an elevator access. After a smooth pick up by MTS out luggage was lost for 5 hours in the hotel as the luggage person could not read the lobby staffs handwriting and dropped all our luggage in a different room. My husband had to walk around and figure out and go to the room and find it .. my hubby remains my hero !!What we checked into was a very disgusting room with mold and paint peeling off the walls of the bathroom..we spoke to Jacqueline at front desk who tried her best to arrange the robes and slippers and sent us up some apples .. My husband and I love the park and the view from our balcony as he saw monkeys and birds and was enthralled. We went to another room the next day but it did not have as nice of a view and we decided to try again to find out what we really paid for as we still had to wait in line to book the a la carte restaurants . On day 3 we met Chrystian ( sorry if I spelt your name wrong) who apologize and set us up with the correct hotel rooms ( building 22) where we met the loveliest front desk concierge. From then we were grand. We had a romantic experience. We saw each incj of the property and had zero need to leave the resort. A first for us ! Wow .. get the right room and forgive some mishaps and tipping s in pesos and US dollar bills. Definitely shout out to the chef at the Seafood restaurant. The food was a 10 out of 10. BRAVO !!! FOR THE PRICE IT IS A LOVELY FAMILY CENTRIC Experience. It is like we were in the rainforest. Fantastic my hubby said !

Monica Ramos in the oriental restaurant was so helpful. She helped us order the correct food item. She went beyond my expectations with the ice cream desert and the fire. Lorena @ breakfast is you star employee she remembered our breakfast request from our first visit. Luis from Pesador restaurant made great food suggestions, this made our dinner dining fantabulous & Luis in the breakfast hut by the beach are great! The ambiance was great, top notch service Patricia brought drinks before we needed, great anticipation. items before we asked for them such bread and drinks. She anticipated everyone of our needs. Cheerful, pleasant, friendly and observant of our every need. Our evening could not have been a better experience. Looking forward to returning and referring friends. Super happy and satisfied!

Great hotel. It was our second time here. Rooms were a little 'tired' but overall the hotel was excellent. The staff throughout the hotel were superb. One of our party had his birthday whilst here. We mentioned it to Maury (our waitress in the buffet restaurant) when we ordered mimosas at breakfast. At the end of breakfast, she brought out a birthday cake and Maury, William, Miguel and Mariana sang happy birthday. Great touch! Roman in the poolside snack bar was hilarious and really made us laugh. Gualdemar in the Italian restaurant was excellent, really attentive and friendly. It's top customer service like these examples that really makes the holiday special. We really enjoyed the food, both for variation and quality. It was good to see that the wildlife is still abundant around the hotel grounds. Lots of different animals to see, a real privilege. The beach was great. All in all a great holiday. Thank you.
