We went two weeks ago, and the place is beautiful, very big, and in the middle of all jungle. You can walk all over the place and you will always see something new. Xcaret Park is a 5-minute walk from the same hotel and accessing the park. (Xcaret Park not included, but they have a discount for being a guest) It has theater and they do show and entertainment every night. It has also a tennis court, mini golf, as extra activities to entertain you. It has very large and long pools that connect with each other, there are rooms that have access to the pool from its balcony, that was super cool, the beach is not a beach as such but it is accessible to be able to enjoy it, even with children, without danger of something happening. The rooms were what we didn’t like, we had a standard room, he understood that the place is very old, but the rooms do need attention, the water in the shower changed every 30 seconds from super cold to super hot that prevented you from enjoying a shower. The place has different levels, there is a level called royal I imagine it has nice rooms and no problems with any of them, but of course it is more expensive. The food was good, and depending on how many days you stay you have the right to make 1 or more reservations, as nothing more we stayed 3 we only had the right to 1 and we had dinner in a Mexican restaurant and was good. And you have to book between 7-12 because if you don’t get a reservation, but if you go at 10 am you won’t have many options. The restaurants have dress codes, to be able to enter. The service was pleasant and professional. Some did not speak English very well, so on one occasion it was impossible to order room service. The reception is very slow, there was not enough staff so being able to get your room takes 1 hour in line.

Monica Ramos was truly an absolute gem. Made us feel so welcome and made us feel like a priority. Monica’s attention to make us feel welcome was on point. This is my first time coming to an inclusive resort. Everyone has been so friendly and considerate. Also, the oriental restaurant was spectacular. Never in my life have I had such attentive service and amazing quality food. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful time! Top notch service and lovely atmosphere at the Royal level. Mireya served us by the pool. Her smiling and friendly attitude made us feel special and welcome. Our only critique was the food… we found most of it quite bland and grew tired of it by the end of our stay. We came for the stunning, natural environment and that’s what we got. My son loved it. Thank you!

Ricardo at the buffet was so kind and nice! We loved his service very much. He did an amazing job attending us and making sure we had everything we needed and did so with a smile on his face the entire time. Thank you Ricardo Be!!!! OTILIO AT THE BEACH CLUB WAS AMAZING AS WELL! We love him every time we see him. He is the reason we keep coming back. Such a sweet kind soul who is always going above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and taken care of. All of the staff is amazing but he stands out above all!!

The hotel offers nice landscaping and a relaxing atmosphere other than the air conditioning issue that seems to warm up at night not cooling throughout the whole night, the staff is very friendly and eager to serve you. We had the pleasure of dining in the Oriental restaurant today. Bellita was an outstanding waitress and provided great service. The food selection is excellent and very tasty. I can’t complain, our experience at Occidental Xcaret has been amazing and pleasant. It is a place we would definitely visit again.
