Not the All-Inclusive Experience I Expected If you’re expecting a traditional all-inclusive resort experience, this may not be the place for you. All dining reservations must be made through an app, which I wasn’t informed about until after arriving. By then, most restaurant slots were already booked—many guests seem to reserve well in advance, leaving very limited availability for others. This created a lot of unnecessary stress, especially with young kids. I managed to get just one reservation, and even then, the app indicated the restaurant was full—yet it appeared half-empty in person. Meanwhile, others seem to book and not show up, leaving guests like myself scrambling to find options. Buffet dining every day is not what I came for. I was hoping for variety, relaxation, and good service, but the dining situation made the experience more frustrating than enjoyable. I’ve stayed at other resorts in Mexico and never faced this kind of inconvenience. See pictures of a fully booked yet empty restaurant. Travelers should be aware that if you don’t secure reservations early—possibly even before your trip—you may find yourself disappointed. Lastly your only allowed three reservations per stay so you don’t eat or try all the different restaurants.

Big family friendly resort. A lot of families Price matches the quality of the resort. I recommend this place only if you plan a family trip The beach is a at 5 mins from the resort Little wagons for transport to the beach pass every 10 mins Those same little wagons can take you to a little market where you buy souvenir’s and accessories. Our very first time in Mexico and we are extremely happy about this vacation. Length of travel- 1 hr and 21 mins from the airport. We arrived Sunday morning so no traffic. Reception - The Gentleman who checked us in was very knowledgeable and kind. He was very helpful and answered all my inquiries. Room - We were not born with silver spoon in our mouths but we truly enjoyed the beds and the bathroom. Enough space for all of us 3. If you are looking for a very fancy and extravagant room; North American style - this is not it. It is not a big deal because we went on a vacation to explore and not to sleep and stay in the room for 24/7. Pools and Kid's pool - All I can say is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Staff are super friendly! Buffet - We stayed and ate here and we received great service from all the servers. They are very polite and always happy to help. We tipped once a day. Housekeeping - They cleaned our room very well. No complaints! We are very pleased with them. Beach is so close and pretty. This beach is a must visit. The ride was pretty quick, approximately 5mins from our room and less than 10mins walk from the Hotel lobby. All employees here are very nice, hospitable and hardworking. I cannot think of any ill words or any negative thoughts about this place. This place is a must visit to stay and have fun!

I had a great time at Bahia principe COBA! The resort has all the amenities and services. Gym, sports bar Shops and most importantly for me was the food at the main buffet. I will definitely come back to Bahia Principe locations. Thank you to all the servers and resort workers who work tirelessly to put a smile on our faces. Thank you Rosa and Jose for giving my wife and myself great service.

We had lots of fun during our visit there. The rooms are clean and well-maintained every day. We do tip the cleaning lady every day, and we can see that she is willing to put in the work to change all the towels and restore everything. Service is great - most staff there speak decent enough English to understand what we need. Some of them also are willing to go above and beyond to make our experience more unique and fun. Food is the best part - the buffet itself is good enough that we didn’t even feel the need to eat any a la carte restaurants. All 3 à la carte we went to were also great - the Mexican one is our favourite. We went in February and there are lots happening every day, events and outings, people getting married, we felt like we could stay there for longer and not be tired of everything. Overall, they gave us a great experience in Mexico.
