The chambers were a bit cold but we asked for blankets and it was more comfy and night. The sink was a bit crooked too but it’s a detail. Aside from that everything was really good with the room, we got to be really close to the lobby and main pool, and there are so many little cars to go anywhere you need. The service is absolutely amazing. We did the bike tour at the very beginning of our vacation and it was the right thing to do ! I absolutely recommend it. Antonio was in charge of it and he gave us so many tips and pertinent information. He also checked on us many times during our stay to make sure everything was going well, I really appreciated the attention he was paying to the small details. J-F also checked on us many times, I’m always impressed at how fast the entertainment team remember our names and always stop to make sure everything is good. The animation team really is amazing ! They absolutely made a difference in our stay and I’m really happy we got to enjoy our stay thanks to them. They also always try to translate everything in french to help us understand more ! We really enjoyed our stay thanks to them

Still great for kids, but the resort has changed (Management & Food issues) "This is our second visit here, but the resort has changed significantly since they sold half the property to an 'Adults Only' section. While it is still very kid-friendly, many of the 'all-inclusive' perks feel like false advertising now. The Reality of the Dining: The most disappointing part was the food. The buffet variety has decreased, and food is not refilled—if you aren't there in the first 40 minutes, the trays stay empty. Even worse, we were told the specialty restaurants were 'fully booked' for all 7 days, yet they looked empty at night. It feels like they are simply not opening them rather than them actually being full. Entertainment & Layout: • Nightlife: There used to be big nightly shows, but now adult entertainment is very limited and quiet. • The Beach: A small section that fills up fast. It is very stony/rocky under the water, which can be dangerous for swimming. • The Drive: Be prepared for a 2-hour transfer from Cancun Airport. The Positives (Why we still enjoyed it): • Incredible Kids Club: The staff are organized, friendly, and the plays/activities are fantastic. My kids have wonderful memories here. • Water Parks: Very clean with active, attentive lifeguards. • The Staff: Room and buffet staff are lovely and hard-working. The rooms are kept very clean and there is no tipping pressure. Final Verdict: If you are coming strictly for the kids' water park and a clean room, you will be happy. However, if you expect the variety of restaurants and the big nightly entertainment the resort advertises, you will be disappointed

Overall, the experience at this all-inclusive was good and we had a nice stay. That said, the rooms were really cold and our sink was crooked, which took away a bit from the comfort. The Coba area is beautiful, but it’s quite far from the beach. During the day you kind of have to choose between staying near the pool and activities or heading to the beach, which makes it a little inconvenient and limits flexibility. The biggest highlight by far was the staff and entertainment. Antonio, J-F and Jonathan are absolutely amazing! They’re super funny, welcoming, and genuinely nice people who really make the experience better. I speak French and during the activities J-F was trying his best to translate everything in French for us, so cute! We also did a bike tour with Antonio, and honestly I’m so glad we did it on the first day because he shared incredibly useful information that the resort itself didn’t really explain. If you get the chance to do activities, ask if Antonio is leading them, you’ll have the best time. He’s funny, dedicated, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoys themselves.

We have had a great stay regarding the staff, amenities and activities for our children, but our disappointment is with the a la carte. We arrived and asked about booking our a la cartes and were told they were booked for our entire stay...The issue is people can pre book their a la cartes on the app up to 10 days before and all premium members are booked automatically. This is a recent change and our travel agent wasn't aware to notify us. We have checked every evening for an opening and throughout the entire Bahia Principe resort there is no openings. We have heard multiple people complain they will not return due to this and the food in general. The buffet is the same for lunch and dinner daily, which doesn't affect our kids but still not ideal. I will say the staff have been so kind and welcoming, they are amazing. We love the kids club - the kids ask for it. Pools are amazing and the waterpark is perfect for our 4 and 6 year olds. Rooms are a little musty, there is no fan ventilation other than AC but otherwise has all you need.

We had a really nice family stay at Bahia Principe Grand Coba. For an all-inclusive, the food was honestly better than we expected. The buffet had plenty of variety, and the à-la-carte restaurants were a nice change. The resort itself is big but well organized, with lots of pools and space to relax. Our room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did a good job throughout our stay. The beach was easy to get to and great for kids. The kids club was a big plus. The staff were warm and energetic, and our boys loved the activities and making new friends. It gave us some guilt-free time to relax, which made the trip even better. Overall, it’s a solid, family-friendly resort we’d happily return to.
