We had such a wonderful experience with the Kids Club during our stay at Bahia Principe Grand Coba. Our children spent a lot of time there throughout our vacation, and it quickly became one of their favourite parts of the trip. A very special thank-you to Azul, Ami, Cynthia, and Mariana for their kindness, patience, and warm attention toward our kids. They made our little ones feel welcomed and safe from the very first day, and it truly felt like a little community. The daily activities were fantastic — arts and crafts, colouring, face painting, waterpark time, games, and even joining in the nightly entertainment just for kids. Our daughter especially loved getting to be Anna from Frozen and singing Baby Shark during the kids’ karaoke. Those are memories she talks about constantly! We also appreciated the babysitting service offered for younger children (for an additional fee). It was absolutely worth it, and we always felt completely comfortable and confident leaving our little ones with the staff. Another nice touch was how they included themed crafts and activities, like celebrating American Thanksgiving, which made the week even more special. Overall, the Kids Club team went above and beyond to make our family’s vacation unforgettable. Thank you again to Azul, Ami, Cynthia, and Mariana — you made such a meaningful difference in our trip. Highly recommend to any families staying at the resort!

Resort is beautiful, service is top notch (Manuel, Enrique, Liberto, Eduardo, Aure and Israel) you are all amazing!! Our stay would not have been as enjoyable without you!) Sad to say that it obvious in off season (Early November) that the resort is understaffed. Bars are often lined up for 20-30 minutes with only 1 bartender at a time (kudos to them for handling the stress and rude guests!) Good luck getting à la cartes - we were told everything from it was understaffed, guests from Jamaica who were displaced got preferential booking, Hyatt buying out the resort - then heard that premier guests can book 30 days in advance instead of the 10 we were told. We tried right on the 10 day mark; and were able to get Japanese 3x - so much for variety (we bugged for 2 days without any success) we also met people that showed us they saw free spots when we checked there were zero at literally the same time we checked. Rooms are extremely dated, A/C barely works, zero airflow - thank god for a ceiling fan, dehumidifier and some overcast weather. Oh and 2x power receptacles in the entire room, one with a lamp and one for the coffee maker (some light fixtures are hanging from the wall via 3-4x screws) thank god this place is getting renovated; it’s dated!!! The staff make this resort what it is, I recommend the staff more than the resort… love everyone we met here!

All personnel Is willing to help. From the front desk during the check in to all the people involved in making the huge buffet to work for hundreds of guests; all are very friendly and do their Best to fulfill your needs. Talking about the buffet, the food Is delicious. Breakfast, lunch AND dinero are all equaly delicious and varied. The resort Is beautiful and comfortable. Is the middle of the jungle and pretty close to a beautiful, clean, and well maintained beach. I Will definetly come back.

This was my first time at coba resort and I am very impressed. The entertainment staff are wonderful especially hanna and Antonio. The activities are very fun and enjoyable. The entertainment staff offer great quality evening events for both adults and children. I highly recommend checking out the Mexican fiesta, its amazing and worth the money! Great job entertainment staff.

Where do I even start.. Honestly there are so many all inclusive resorts in the area, this one isn’t worth it. Kids everywhere, sub par drink and food. After 3 days, Buffet- 6/10 Snack bar 5/10 Mikado sushi bar 6/10 Portofino italian restaurant 7/10 Gourmet French restaurant 7/10 Service 4/10, the first day was the only day we had good overall service, degraded as the days went by to ultimately them not caring. Restaurant are only open from 5-10, they all need reservations. Also 1 free reservation per 3 nights so we had to pay extra for the others, all good but wasn’t worth it. The buffet is closed for 2 hours at a time. All in all with the food, I’ve had better Mexican food in New York than at this place. Super stars in this place: Brayan, Karen and Primitivo- excellent service in the restaurants, super nice, very attentive and helpful. Adolfo and Oscar- excellent service at the bar, good communicators and personable. Irazu at the front desk- was very helpful and had great energy. Paola and Bladamir with amstar- were great, very informative and helpful. Needs training - Doorman German- this man needs to learn how to talk to guests, guy doesn’t remember what he says from one day to another and will tell you you’re wrong while being on his phone. Club member Alexis - reported us to his supervisor because I had a drink in my hand in an all inclusive hotel.. while his coworkers told me he didn’t want to service us because he wanted to leave early. Phone in the room didn’t work, no one ever came to fix it, asked for buckets of ice no one ever delivered, in the morning when we asked again we got a full blown bag of ice lol we had to laugh it off from how ridiculous it was. When we were leaving we had a worker call the lobby so we can get picked up and were told we had to walk it. Mind you this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.. Would not recommend it even to my enemies, would not consider coming back. I’m shocked this place has the ratings it does.
