Check in useless, no one there when we arrived and didn't provide any information about breakfast for the next morning just that we are strictly not allowed to use the other hotels facilities.
Got to the room via a rally driver who couldn't care less if I was on the buggy or not. 3rd floor, no lift or lights. Get into the room with what sounded like the air conditioning on full blast except it was completely off. Called reception 3 times over a 50 minute span and no one has come to check what's wrong.
This is all within 2 hours of arriving. Can't wait for tomorr.
As of right now, 3 stars AT BEST and that's being generous.

I spent 5 nights in this hotel and it’s a great place. You don’t need to step out of the resort for anything and everything you need for a family including young children is in the hotel itself. The pool party was great fun for the entire family and my son loved it the most when they started spraying foam making it his best bubble bath experience. Buffet is great but I would suggest you to try other restaurants inside the resort by booking early. You can walk in to hotels without a reservation and they try to accommodate you if there are cancellations. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The overall resort is maintained very well and their entertainment staff keep you happy with lots of activities starting at the pool in the morning till end of the day. The kitchen staff are great too and had a very good attitude to take care of guests. My only concern was there were no scotch and limited International drinks ( Jim Beam, Jack Daniel, Canadian club) and drinks were mostly local.

I had an awesome stay this past week at the Bahia. The room was technically fairly basic, but the bathroom was large and beautiful and there was a ton of closet/storage space in this unit! The balcony was nice for drying out towels and bathing suits, or just having an evening sit down there before going to bed for the night. I loved being close to the pool and snack bar. The walk to the hobby and buffet area was a slight jaunt but it’s so beautiful out there that it was no issue! The staff were amazing when handling our requests for more toiletries as well as when we had a slight plumbing issue, they made sure to get things tweaked and ready to go as quickly as possible!

I have been to multiple resorts in Mexico this one was not my favorite but was not the worst either check- in wasn’t to bad our room wasn’t ready when we got there got told come back in 15-30 minutes there app really doesn’t help get you around at all will tell you what the entertainment is for the day but has no location of where it is at was walking to supper the one night came to a show that didn’t even know was happening the bugs at night can get quite bad the property is old but is well maintained the rooms are nice with large bathroom and decent balcony some things I didn’t like about the room is they would never restock the towels and wash clothes and the beds are small (they are full size beds) if you have a room with doubles. The pools where nice and clean the pool bar needs more staff as usually only one or two working the food at the buffet is decent not well labeled. In the buffet getting drinks is horrible and the buffet is the only thing that is included in the all-inclusive the a-la-cart you have to pay for. The walks are small and narrow and you always have one of there vehicles driving down them. This resort is okay but not worth coming back.

2nd time here and it’s better than 13 years ago. Great resort with great staff everywhere (especially Yoda, Eduardo, and Damian for entertainment & lobby staff is great especially the morning staff preparing my cappuccino). We were there with our 2 kids and they loved it too!
