Definitely not the 5-star experience we were hoping for. We’ve been to two other resorts near Cancun and this one is the worse by far. - Rooms. The room layout was fine, however it was incredibly HUMID at all times. Both rooms had black mold all over the mirror in the bathroom. The tissues were wet from the constant humidity in the room. - Food. We were only able to room 1 restaurant for the entire week, and we were only able to do so by talking to hotel guest services. Apparently, you had to book BEFORE checking in, which we weren’t aware of. When we did finally make it to the restaurant, it was more than half empty. We didn’t love the buffet food either. Unless you got there right when service opened, the food was dry and the meat boney. The menu was mostly the same each day. - Construction. The hotel lobby burnt down 3 weeks before our stay. Everything was disorganized because of this so employees were slow to check in and answer questions. Half of the resort was also under construction with constant loud noises. - Kids water park. The slides lead straight into 6 inches of water and concrete. Both our kids scraped their knees and did not enjoy the waterpark. Outside activities were very expensive and not worth the cost for us as a big family. There were positives (loved the people who entertained by the pool, the magic show, the beach was great) but compared with our previous experiences, we would have preferred to go back to the either of the 2 resorts we were at last time

Alfredo and Mauricio were amazing servers. Alfredo went above and beyond every night to ensure we were taken care of. He checked in frequently, making sure our glasses were tended to and we were happy with our experience. I would highly recommend sitting in his section! Mauricio was always a happy face to see and made us laugh a lot. Thank you to both of them for making our experience a great one!

Was super excited about checking out this resort because I saw they had other properties in different countries but after the stay I'm not sure that's going to happen now. The resort as a whole is cool. Good food and drinks included in the price, plenty of pools, close to the beach. The biggest thing for me was I booked a suite, when I got to my room it smelled like mold and was damp feeling. I went to take a shower and found black mold in the shower. I switched rooms which was on the farther side of the hotel but that room too also smelled like mold. After staying at the property for a week my brand new Osprey luggage reeked of mold so I had to get rid of it after only using it this 1 time.

This is my first holiday as an adult and it was absolutely wonderful!! The staff and entertainment team were amazing. The amount of activities they have to do is Great! one of the ones I competed in was a kayak competition to see who is the fastest, I want to bottle of tequila. One of the reasons I haven’t taken a vacation in such a long time is because I’m celiac. It’s increasingly difficult to find food that is completely gluten-free but the staff here made it a little bit easier to help ease my worries, although there isn’t a great variety, there still is enough to enjoy my vacation!!

What a wonderful resort to visit for my first trip to Mexico! The staff as a whole are amazing and couldn't be more polite, friendly and helpful. After the fire, the staff all rallied round and were on hand to keep everyone informed and calm as to what happens next and to make the best of a bad situation. Extra bars and restaurants were set up for everyone and the entertainment moved poolside in the evening. It's an amazing atmosphere here and I'd love to return for another holiday. Massive congratulations to all the staff here for coping so well under the circumstances this week.
