We absolutely love coming to Barceló! Everything is always so cozy, neat, and perfectly clean. We’ve been coming here for 10 years, and each year the service somehow gets even better! One of the highlights of our stay is enjoying the buffet, and we want to give special thanks to Saul Perez, Francisco (with big heart and smile), and Jose Arcos. These gentlemen work incredibly hard and go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable every single day. They are not only professional, but also genuinely friendly and kind. Their dedication and warm personalities truly make our experience unforgettable. Thank you for everything — we can’t wait to come back again!

Most services are not included in the all inclusive price. You have to pay for additional things like use of the bowling alley or arcade. Room service is also not included. Most of the specialty restaurants were booked out. We only managed to get a reservation for one night of the 4 nights we stayed there. The buffet food was alright, nothing special. Some of the buffet restaurants would also serve cold food, which was disappointing. Some aspects I did enjoy, though, were the night entertainment, the activities for the kids club during the day, and the free mini golf. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't an impressive one either.

Love Kyoto! Have snagged a reservation for teppanyaki three times because it’s so fun to watch Chef Pablo perform, Addy Chan took care of us and refilled our drinks before we were done, kept on top of service for us. The food was delicious every time we came, great for kids and families.

Had a great time with my wife, 5 and 8 year old on a quick catamaran trip at water sports at Barcelo Riviera Maya . Carlos Chan , our driver , was awesome . Lots of sargassum that day but getting on the catamaran was easy and felt safe. Life jackets were provided and felt secure. Our driver Carlos was polite, knowledgeable, bilingual and made it a fun and comfortable experience for my family. For being included in the cost of the all inclusive resort, and only paying a tip , it was well with the experience . Overall, it is about a 1/2 hour ride out enjoying the waves and view. Word of advice, get to the reservation stand early before they open to ensure a spot. The only take reservations the day of, so suggest getting in line at about 8 or 8:15 am before they open at 9. Sailings start at 10am.

Kyoto was very delicious and the service was wonderful. The service was provided by: Francisca Deara Maricela Perez Berenice Aragon They were all very quick to re-fill the drinks and attentive to anything that we needed. You'll be very lucky if you get them at your table. The food is also very delicious, and it comes with a show!
