In general, we were pleased with the resort. Kid friendly, great food selection, many entertainment activities but at the same time not noisy. Most importantly, the resort was pretty clean, the workers were always cleaning. Very green and well designed resort either, you could reach anything from anywhere in minutes. All the side walks were covered which provides shade in hot sunny days and rain cover. Staff was very nice and friendly. Beach for colonial and tropical is nice, still few rocky spots but in return those spots were good for snorkeling. We will definitely go there again.

I had the most spectacular dining experience and service this evening at the Kyoto Restaurant. The exceptional service provided by Lucely and Jazmin was unmatched! By far the best dinner I’ve had thus far at my stay here at the Colonial. Thank you for an incredible dinner that will not be forgotten.

Had a hard time getting restaurant bookings even with the Premier status but overall it was a good stay. Buffers were actually really good all times of the day. Great location for the water sport area. If you have a large group like we did, 13 rent a catamaran private. The difference in price isn’t that much difference and worth the private time and more area on the boat. We had adults and teenagers. Make sure you book

We had a wonderful dining experience in the Kyoto restaurant. Elizabeth was very attentive with all of our needs and provided excellent customer service. We will be sure to die here again! The food was delicious and the chef did a fantastic job with creating a delicious meal. Was a very memorable experience for our entire group.
