Jorge Morales was a great waiter in the Santa Fe Restaurant. He was fun and kept up with all our demands:) Our room was nice. It smells a little musty, but I think that is kind of inevitable. The rooms need to have more electrical outlets. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash are quite poor in quality. The air condition works really well. It is way better than when we were here 3 years ago. 3 years ago we stayed in the Beach Caribe.

We had a wonderful experience at the buffet restaurant in the hotel. The food selection was diverse and fresh, with many delicious options for everyone. Everything was beautifully presented and constantly refilled. A special thank you to Palmeras, Sarahi Nahal, and Juan Pech for their outstanding service. They were very friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Their positive attitude and professionalism made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

We ate at the Santa Fe tonight at Barcelo Maya resort. Highly recommended! Jorge Morales was an EXCELLENT waiter. Very knowledgeable about menu and offered suggestions when asked. I asked for a well done steak. It came out medium. My steak was completely redone and perfect. No issues and very timely. Thank you. The drinks were timely and refilled frequently. Salad bar was very nice. Im glad we didn't order the warm appetizer as the meal was generous. Well done and thoroughly enjoyed. Very efficient restaurant.

All the Restaurants are amazing! Santa Fe had the best steaks. Jorge, the waiter was excellent waiter. Buffets are OK but not great. Lots of junk food and white bread. Overall stay is at 3 star. Beach is VERY rocky and colonial rooms are due for an upgrade. There were only 2 electrical outlets for the whole room.

Overall the resort is lovely. The beach has some coral if tides are rough.Edilberto is a wonderful waiter. Food here is great, lots of variety. As in all all inclusives, trying to get a reservation for ala carts is a challenge. But this resort has 5 sections so there are a lot of people vying for reservations. Overall I’d recommend.
