Overall trip was really good. There are areas for improvement though. Food was pretty good, could be better. The service was excellent though and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Dennis at the front desk area is wonderful and bartenders Eduardo and Victor are amazing. The nightly entertainment is quite good too. Beach is basically non existent but the pools are nice. There needs to be more chairs though are there are not enough around the pools for everyone.

Me and my son were just there last week and it was quite possibly the best stay we have ever had at an all inclusive resort. The location was absolutely stunning, the service was beyond 5 stars as well as the friendliness and attention to detail of the staff there. The food was some of the best I have had at an all inclusive resort as well with so many different options and room service always at your fingertips! We used Amstar for our transportation there as well as excursions and everything was so organized and handled so well!
The grounds were constantly being kept up, removal of seaweed, taking the beach, keeping the floors clean, cleanliness of the rooms. Very impressive!
The lobby and whole feel of the resort is zen and calming. I loved that it was a little smaller than some I have stayed at, it never felt over crowded. There was always somewhere you could go to get some privacy. There is nightly entertainment for those who like that and a spa as well. Everyone genuinely seems like they love their job there.
I know some people have made comments about the seaweed and bugs at times but those are things that happen in nature and they do the best to their ability to keep the beaches clean and the rooms as clean as possible. It will be hard to not go back to this one next time, I would highly highly recommend!

Worse resort i've ever been to.
Nice things were: coffee shop with ice cream and candy, large room, a handful of exceptional staff.
Everything else was pretty awful. Room, and 1/4 of the resort reeked of sewage.
Most food was below mall food court quality.
Enough chairs for 1/2 the guests, enough shade for 1/4... entire front row of main pool blocked by cabanas, and seems the entire business model of this place is to break you in to paying for the upgrade. Even if you do, they raise the price once they sell out, and resell them, so even if you do break, you will likely spend another day getting burnt with no shade.
Lots of rude staff. Lines everywhere, next to service of any kind. Weak activities.
I highly recommend you go anywhere else.
SEAN Work Smarter
I give this place 4 stars due to the fact that food is edible a lot better than most all inclusive I’ve been to, rooms are designed well most if not all have balcony’s with view of a pool or access to it if you’re on first floor and not far from the main lobby where there is live entertainment on weekends and fresh grill meats and veggies in the evenings. Japanese restaurant has good fried rice , beef lo mein , veggie rolls are BOMB, Italian chick parm is ok the lasagna needs work and the breakfast buffet at Lafthonia is amazing as well many fresh fruits and juices and omelet station is bomb as well. Pools were adequate not very busy at all but enough pools for all the kids and family to not be over crowded didn’t try for a cabana but there were plenty I saw and they rented cheap maybe $150 or so not bad at all honestly . We stayed here from 4/8/24-4/15/24 In room 11207 love the space the rooms offer and the balcony with comfy couch to relax and enjoy the respective views. Shower was HUGE and also had a jacuzzzi tub with double sinks very good use of space in my opinion and most ppl I spoke with on vacation agree. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Estefania at jap restaurant lovely lady , bartenders at main lobby bar was generous and kind made good rum and coke the evening bbq was amazing and the roots ice cream shop was also a pleasantry . The excursions were priced ok compared to other places we visited they try to sell time shares and other trips aggressively somewhat but k hues spots covid they have to eat just don’t waste your time if your not interested they do give u some Cash back for excursion's if you go to time share . Steak house was good steaks are edible mash potatoes and veggies were a good beef tacos are also good. I did not try French restaurant but I heard it was good.
PROS: lovely staff, effective room service clean grounds and very well designed rooms and balconies honestly I love the room layout me of my favorite things here.
Cons: pools were basic , the water park is just two slides not a water park , beach is non existent seems like it was damaged some time ago and never repaired by the resort although the food was edible it could Be better lasagna was not good at all, and portion sizes were small at most of the restaurants . They don’t offer to go containers at the restaurants which suck if u have kids and want to dine in room my son doesn’t do well in crowded restaurants so I walked thru halls with uncovered food . If it rains the main lobby on first fooor has to be wet sweepers to try and keep clean big design flaw as a guest sitting at bar seeing that feel bad for th staff. They book all your excursions but don’t take your number will only call your room for you which makes no sense as most ppl won’t be sitting ina hotel room. Honestly I’m not picking now but for the overall stay if u want a quiet more low key less known resort with decent food and it’s clean and staffed with friendly ppl
Give it a shot let me know your thoughts I rate it 4 cause of the edible food cleanliness in and around the grounds and restaurants . And rooms . You tell your thoughts when ever you stay I hope this review is helpful folks and I pray everyone has a safe trip and safe return . Bless you all.
One more thing thank you to Charlie guide at ATV course and victor our lifeguard at the Sedaka they were gentleman and scholars man and took care of my nino like their own Ty all very much.for the hospitality. The dolphins were amazing and the facility trumps jamaicas by far and so does the price in Mexico . Happy new year all stay well

This resort is lovely. The staff are amazing all around. Very helpful in getting you settled and making sure you have everything you need. Dennis at the front of the resort is so friendly and on top of making sure you have your luggage and know your way around the resort. Around the bars Eduardo and Victor make amazing cocktails. If you don’t know what you want, they will just make you something. Very family oriented resort with great food and relaxed atmosphere. On the smaller side so easy to find your way around. There isn’t much of a beach but if you want to just lounge around the pools then this one is for you. Thanks so much Hyatt Ziva for a great vacation.
