Extremely Disappointing – Not Recommended for Families or Groups We recently stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise with a group of 15, including our 4-month-old baby, and the experience was deeply disappointing. For a resort that markets itself as family-friendly and accommodating, the reality was the complete opposite. Upon arrival, we were met with a cold and unwelcoming reception — not the greeting you expect after a long day of travel. Things quickly went downhill from there. The heat and humidity inside the resort were unbearable — from our room to the restaurants and even the lobby. Air conditioning was barely functioning, making every indoor space uncomfortable. Our mini fridge didn’t work, so we had no way to safely store or prepare formula for our baby. When we asked for extra bottled water to make formula, we were told there was a limit. It’s unacceptable to deny something as essential as clean water for a baby. Dining was another ongoing frustration. Despite plenty of available seating, we were told we couldn’t sit together as a group unless we purchased bottle service — even at the walk-in buffet. Several restaurants were closed during the week or reserved for private events, further limiting our options. The buffet became our only option, and it was severely lacking in variety and quality. On top of that, basic service like getting a glass of water took far too long, almost every time. Our room — advertised as a “garden view” — looked directly onto a garbage bin. It honestly felt like no one cared about the guest experience. Even towel service shut down at 6 PM, while people were still enjoying the beach and pool, which made no sense. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of hospitality, poor service, and the general disregard for guest comfort. If you’re traveling with young children or as a large group, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Ocean Riviera Paradise did not come close to meeting even the most basic expectations.

Excellent resort all around. The food is one of the best foods we have had in all inclusive resorts. Better food than Sandal’s resorts. Service was excellent. Only negative is the air conditioner in the restaurants are not cold. Room AC is good and lobby areas is good. Stayed at El Beso, recommended if you don’t want to deal with children. Will definitely return.

Miguel was amazing, the restaurant was busy but he took his time to make sure we felt comfortable and attended to while dining at margarita. He told about each dish and tradition in seconds. I can tell he enjoys his job and it radiates through his service. The host Jesus was very friendly and kind and even gave a meal suggestion which turnt out to be absolutely amazing. Thank you Miguel, I wish you and your family all the best in this world. You are truly amazing!

Terrible Experience at Ocean Riviera Paradise – Unacceptable Service and Hygiene Issues I recently stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise, part of Hotel 10, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. From the moment I arrived, I encountered multiple issues that left me extremely disappointed. To start, during dinner at the steakhouse, I found a cockroach in my wine glass. This was both shocking and concerning, especially considering the hotel's reputation. It raised serious questions about the cleanliness and overall hygiene standards at the resort. Another significant issue was that our door lock was broken for the first three days of our stay. Despite reporting the problem twice, it wasn't fixed until we escalated the issue. This lack of proper attention to guest concerns was frustrating and caused unnecessary inconvenience. The worst part of the experience, however, was the interaction with a staff member named Manuel, who identified himself as the supervisor of guest services. When I approached him to discuss my concerns, he was extremely condescending and dismissive. His response to my complaints was simply, "So now it's fixed, right?" His attitude and body language made it clear that he felt my concerns were a waste of his time. When it came to compensation, the options offered were laughable. We were given the choice of a late checkout, a restaurant reservation, or a fruit plate delivered to our room. These gestures felt completely inadequate given the issues we had faced, especially considering the fruit plate could easily be obtained for free through room service or the buffet. Overall, the service at Ocean Riviera Paradise was severely lacking, and guest services were non-existent. I expect far better treatment from a resort of this caliber. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on the poor hygiene, subpar service, and dismissive attitude from the staff. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve both the service and the cleanliness at this property. My experience was far from what I expected, and it certainly does not reflect the level of quality that should be provided to guests

We ate at the steakhouse restaurant. We had a very good time. Awesome service. Magarita is a Very pleasant lady . She is the best. Very cautious and friendly. She made the experience at the restaurant great. Thank you Angel, Fidel and Omar were awesome host. The service was top of the line.The experience is an unforgettable one. Everything was marvelous . I will always have good memories of my time here
