Margarita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our experience at the steakhouse was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Margarita. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we sat down. Her service was impeccable—friendly without being overbearing, and incredibly thoughtful with our whole family. The atmosphere, food, and overall vibe of the steakhouse were excellent, but Margarita truly elevated the entire evening. She was wonderful with the kids, great with recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. It was one of those dining experiences where everyone leaves happy, relaxed, and already talking about coming back. This ended up being a highlight of our stay at the resort, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience—or about Margarita. Highly recommend! 🌟🥩

Service at the buffet and restaurants was great. At the buffet we happened to get Isaias serving with water and other drinks four different times all of which he was very attentive and provided excellent service. Most of the food was good at the buffet and have a good enough variety that did not bore me in the week i stayed here, the Pez Vela by the beach was also a great place to eat. The blue moon french restaurant was mediocre, i had an impressively soft and tender steak but lacking in flavor. The pool had a great atmosphere and always had chairs available the beach was more limited and had to get up early to reserve them with a towel. Rooms could be better. The rooms looks like they had better days and furniture seemed a bit run down. We stayed in two different rooms and both tvs were unable to access netflix to help is wind down before bed. The cleanliness was also not up to my expectations from a 5 star resort as the linens and curtains had small stains on them. The hot tub also was not spotless as it had small stains or drops of something on it. The location of this resort is in the outskirts of Playa del Carmen which we knew going in, however we were not expecting to pay 400 pesos (about 20USD) one way into town to explore so we only ended up going out there once to shop and get personal hygiene things we were not able to get through the airport. The resort has many stores within it but they price things very high. The resort is very big and it takes a good 6 minutes to get from El Beso (adults only) part of the hotel to the buffet and lobby. There is a trolley service available but I decided to walk to get my steps in. Althought the El Beso section is adults only, the resort as a whole is family friendly so do expect to have kids at the restaurants you go to throughout the hotel. Overall I would come again if i came with kids otherwise if I am looking for a couples getaway i would opt for a different adults only hotel in the future. Service by the waiters and bartenders was by far the highlight of this hotel in my opinion.

Food was excellent in a buffet. Lots of seafood, desserts and overall options. It was tasty too. Specialty restaurants are not worth it. Rooms are big, perfect for when travelling with teenagers, there is extra pull out sofa and nice decor. Balconies are large and open. What we didn’t like is the Privilege takes one pool, El Beso takes another pool. You are not left with much as a regular visitor. Resort is large but many areas are extra charge. Beach area is small and so is the pool there. There are spots to swim between the rocks. Lineups for food did exist, especially for lunch at seaside restaurant. Everything seems to be extra charge what is included in other resorts. Entertainment was almost non existent, they did more of it in adults pool. Nighttime shows were not good, just 1-2 people on stage with some projector behind. Not interesting. Restaurant could use theme nights for food. Service wasn’t amazing either as their restaurants look understaffed. We asked for a mattress to be changed twice and no one changed it. Resort is newer style and has nice atmosphere and ambiance. Lobby is very nice. Overall we had a good time as a family but we won’t be back.

My family and I loved our stay here. We were here from 12/29-1/4/26. The rooms were clean, the staff were amazing. Heydi was one of the staff members that stood out to us she was so friendly and accommodating she helped us with all our reservations she was amazing since day one. They had so many fun things for my family and I to enjoy. I almost forgot to mention the food was delicious! Our favorite dining restaurants were La Locanda, Sakura, Pez Vela, and the Amaranto.The resort is child friendly and my son had a blast.

We visited Restaorante Margarita and had an absolutely wonderful experience with our waiter Rueben Lorenzo. He was exceptional and was attentive to all our needs and requests. He was knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Our hostess was Lettty was also very lovely. We visited Ocean Burger and were waited by Mario and David and Thelma and Ivan. They were absolutely amazing. Our service was impeccable and the food was on point and super fresh. Thank you for a great afternoon of service, we are grateful for the extra attention and for making us feel special. 10/10 recommendation
