You never really know what you’re going to get with a resort that you’ve never been to before but i can honestly say we had an amazing experience! The restaurants are decent, but the buffet was by far our favorite. The food was different every night and for the most party everything was delicious. Idalia has a coffee cart in the buffet where she makes you a boozy coffee - she is amazing! William is on the entertainment team and he is incredible, so fun and remembers everyone’s names. All the staff are so kind and treated us so well! We made friends with so many staff members and loved seeing them everyday. Also such a clean resort - the staff is constantly working hard at keeping things looking nice. I would 100% recommend this resort. Went as a family of 10, great for kids, great for adults - all around a great time!

The overall service level at this resort was below a 2 out of 5. Many staff members were rude, gave inconsistent information, and showed little accountability. We stayed Jan 23–30, 2026 as a family of four with two children and joined nine other family members to celebrate my father’s milestone birthday. We attended a presentation after being offered complimentary massages, but what was supposed to take about an hour ended up taking most of the day. We were later told the “complimentary” massages were only 20 minutes and that we had to pay $20 USD per voucher to combine them. At the spa, staff said it was actually a “fee,” not a tax. The massage room smelled moldy and unpleasant, so the experience was not worth it. Restaurant reservations were extremely frustrating. Almost every night, our reservations could not be found, and our group of 13 was split far apart. They could not seat more than about 6–8 people at one table, which made it impossible to celebrate together. This was especially disappointing because we had contacted the resort in advance about our family celebration and were told they would help. At La Locanda, a hostess named Miriam, refused to admit that our reservation was already on her list and only seated us after we showed proof - with no apology and very rude behavior. Service was also very slow, with waits of 45 minutes or more for main dishes. We also wasted five days trying to break large peso bills. The front desk kept telling us to come back later, and one staff member who spoke no English simply repeated the same phrases without calling anyone else to help. We were never able to exchange our money. To be fair, the resort was fairly clean, the shuttle system was convenient, and the family lounge was great for kids. A special thank you to Gregory, who was friendly and helpful and stood out among the staff. He's the only one who provided 5 star service. Overall, it felt like the staff had little interest in our time or vacation experience. Instead of relaxing and enjoying a special family trip, we spent most of our stay dealing with miscommunication and long waits. We would not recommend this resort to families or groups looking for an stress-free vacation.

The best restaurant is Pez Vela on the beach for lunch and especially dinner!! For dinner we have the sweetest and best waiter in the whole resort his name is Wismar! Very attentive and always comes with a smile! Thank you for making our dinners memorable and giving us the best experience ever!! You must order the ceviche and steak, surprising the steak here is better than the steak house!! Ricardo and Miriam at Lo Canda was amazing! The best service and the food here was amazing! Definitely try the salmon and black risotto ! Try the ribs at Route 66 too with Jonathan And Hector they were really good and Eliseo our waiter was the best! Alberto at Sakura restaurant was very helpful in making our experience amazing!!

Novela has been our waiter for breakfast throughout our stay — always so polite, attentive, and kind. We always asked to be seated in his section. He truly made a difference and started our days the right way. We had our last dinner here at The Privilege. Onecimo and Karla were also wonderful with our family. The food was amazing, especially the Chateaubriand steak. A quiet and intimate atmosphere. Highly recommended — 5/5.

From the moment we were seated, Misael Nayeli was exceptionally attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, checked on us at just the right moments, and made sure every single detail of our meal was perfect. His knowledge of the menu, recommendations, and timing were flawless. What really set him apart was his authentic care — not rushed, not forced, just pure excellence in hospitality. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows in every interaction. He made us feel welcomed, valued, and completely taken care of. If you’re dining at BlueMoon, ask for Misael. He doesn’t just serve food — he creates an experience. Truly top-tier service and someone who deserves recognition, praise, and every good thing that comes his way.
