Great location for time square. First morning there was a huge blow up Rat outside looking in the hotel lobby with a loud blower fan outside. We stayed in a room that was just renovated. A bit on the small side having just enough room for one person to walk around the beds at a time, two out of the four bed lights didn't work. The bathroom was dirty and missing a handle on the door with no lock. The water was very slow to drain resulting in pools of water. Upon arrival there were no hand towels and only two bath towels for four guests. We requested more, they responded quickly with one hand and bath towel. Upon returning from our first outing the room was serviced leaving no towels. Second morning we were woken up to the maid coming in our room. Overall the staff is nice and helpful.
Q & A Marketing
I had an excellent stay at The Manhattan Hotel, New York Times Square. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to all major shopping areas and quick availability of taxis at any time. The rooms are clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The staff was incredibly courteous, especially Mr. Mohammad, who went above and beyond to assist us. He was extremely cooperative and even helped with our check-in on his day off, which was truly appreciated. The lift service was fast, so there was no waiting around, and access to the room was seamless.
Overall, a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Times Square!

Stayed for 2 nights...
first thing that happens is we get told to pay for a deposit even though we had told her we already paid it online, so an extra $100. not supposed to happen according to the lady who checked us out.
only to be double charged and when we asked to speak with the manager they said he was too busy. They gave us an email, we sent one right away describing the mediocre stay and the billing issues, it's been almost a week and still no reply. I try calling, it rings and rings for 10+ minutes. On top of the billing issues, the lobby is misleading, then you get up to your room and get disappointed by grimy shower heads, cracked tile, & uncomfortable lopsided beds and they were literally painting the walls of our floor during our stay and taking up the entire hallway, it smelled horribly of paint fumes. The parking isn't even included so on top of getting double charged it's another $170 just for 2 nights of parking. Absolutely ridiculous. During our check out there was also a protest going on against this hotel, apparently they under pay their workers so makes sense why they're rude and not trained properly.
highly recommend you find somewhere else.
Horrible customer service, shady intentions, and overpriced to hell.

We were told we were being "upgraded" to an exclusive executive floor that had recently remodeled suites. While it was nice to have an elevator dedicated to that floor, the rooms were extremely small. Only the bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a small closet for clothes. No desk or chair that I would expect to find in an "Executive" room. There was nowhere to work. Don't expect to actually get an upgrade if they offer one. The room rate was reasonable; the location was great, and we were only there for one night, but we were duped into thinking we were being specially treated. It was disappointing.

Disappointed by this place.
My husband and I chose NYC for our honeymoon and decided to stay here. The lobby is quite beautiful and modern, but the minute we got to our room, we were disappointed.
The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything in the hotel rooms surrounding us.
The room was very outdated and smelled musty.
The bathroom smelled like mildew and the tub was clogged (having water build up while showering was not ideal).
The AC wouldn't turn on and it took almost an hour to get someone to come up to fix it.
The TV wasn't turning on, so when I checked to make sure it had batteries in it, there was a napkin stuffed in there.
We asked for new bedding because ours smelled like they needed to be washed. They weren't able to provided another comforter but did provide everything else which we had to put on the bed ourselves.
Unfortunately all hotels nearby were fully booked the night we got there, so we just ended up spending one night there, and found a different hotel for the remainder of our trip.
When we were checking out, we overheard a couple next to us complain about almost the exact same things we had complained about.
I will say that we appreciated a front desk worker there named Sasha. He was very helpful in suggesting how to handle check out the following morning.
