So much to say.. You will have clean sheets and a comfy bed to sleep in…but that’s it. Stayed for 2 nights, in 3 different rooms! Room 1- was not the room we booked- room was not nice at all- bathroom tub was so gross (be sure to read fine print if you’re looking for the newly renovated room) Room 2- A nicely renovated room BUT not clean. Bathroom not clean, toilet seat broken, floors not swept nor mopped- leak in bathroom causing a middle of the night slip! So we were moved to Room 3 - Again not clean, floors dirty (literally mustard packets on the floor and more) - Yes the location of this hotel is great and yes they are working on renovating but even the renovated rooms are not well kept. Management needs to clear rooms before allowing to book them. Customers deserve a clean space to stay in. I literally felt the need to clean the entire room but didn’t have the cleaning supplies. And then back to the manager at the front desk… She does not care! Zero customer service skills. Do better.

This hotel is terrible. The rooms smell like mold, and my room had a leaking AC, which caused the carpet to get wet and the mold smell to become unbearable. I was affected by allergies for three days. When I went down to the reception to activate my key, I found two other guests complaining about the same problem. This hotel is very expensive despite its poor quality. There are other hotels in the area that are much better and have polite staff. The reception staff are often in a bad mood, especially the Asian woman, who was very rude. I believe this hotel is not worth more than $100 per night—don't pay more than that, as it's not justified. Additionally, I experienced several issues that I haven't had in other hotels: the key kept deactivating, and I had to go to the lobby to get it reactivated. Staff always told me to wait in the long check-in line, which was frustrating since I just wanted to activate my key. The ice machine was broken, and when I went to take a shower, the bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner were empty, there were ants everywhere … terrible experience overall. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Chorus parent chaperone on high school trip. We had a very large group and the lobby could not be used as a meeting spot. The lobby is under construction and greatly reduced in size and thus, got very crowded with people coming and going. The elevators struggled to handle moving everyone at times (which was to be expected with a large group) but seemed a bit excessive at times—especially since one seemed to stop working. The rooms were nicely furnished (even if the lighting made little sense in some rooms). The air conditioning was not working so windows had to be left open to let in all the noise and shades had to be up enough to be able to let air in which let in a lot of light. And if your room faced 7th Ave, you had very little air movement even with windows open. There were a few fans provided by the hotel but not nearly enough to go around. The hot water had issues at times keeping up with demand as well. The hotel is in an excellent location providing many attractions/sights within walking distance.

Aside from a good location, not much to recommend about this hotel. We had a “premium” room per the front desk which maybe meant a recently renovated room of a decent size. Here’s a summary of issues: a bell clerk expected a tip at luggage hold drop-off rather than pick-up (“I may not be here when you come back”); we requested a room away from the elevators but got a room closest to the elevators; the radiator/AC was really loud; the room was humid even with the AC running; the bathroom had multiple issues - sliding door didn’t close fully, ceiling light wasn’t installed so dark, toilet was unsteady, mold on ceiling, no toiletries, not enough towels; when we asked for more towels, it took several hours because they were waiting for clean towels to be delivered; 2 of 4 elevators weren’t working, so there was a long wait to get downstairs in the morning.

The hotel was beautifully renovated. The staff was marvelous and very friendly.Our room was nice. My only issue is they need to update their heating and cooling system. The air conditioning is only operable in May/June. They had no fan to accommodate their guests. It was 80 degrees on 4/20/25. I had no hot water. I let the water run for 10 minutes and never got hot. I was given a discount on my bill for the trouble. Also, there is no restroom in the main lobby. So, there's nowhere to go to the bathroom once you check out. If I had hot water and controllable climate control, I would have given 5 stars.
