Stayed 2 nights at Arlo in the City View King Bed (#2122). It was a corner room with good limited city views. The room is tight but comfortable enough to open one large suitcase and lay it flat on the floor. Comfy beds right in front of the smart TV with Google cast available. Bathroom is thoughtfully designed. 2 cans of water every day. Wifi is stable and loads fast. Good location near many bagel stores, broadway and Times Square. Can get noisy at night from the sirens, ear plugs recommended! Shout out to Alex at the concierge who is really friendly and helpful. Rest of the concierge team were helpful too. Appreciate the cafe for morning coffee and bar for yummy cocktails on the ground floor. Finally, shout out to Roy at the bar and Sarah at the restaurant who are so so friendly and helpful 😄

Great hotel, with a lively atmosphere and modern vibrant design. Staff were friendly, and the bar and cafe were a great place to relax and grab a drink throughout our stay. Room was pretty tight but that’s what you get in Manhattan. Being in Midtown, it was really well located and everything was maximum 30 minute subway ride away. Highly recommend, will look into staying in other Arlo locations in the future.

This hotel is a bit of a contradiction. Let me explain: When you walk into the lobby, you’re greeted by Arlo’s signature earthy scent — warm, welcoming, and distinctly their own. But just steps away, at the otherwise charming little bar, the smell shifts dramatically — more sewer than speakeasy. When some New York friends met us for coffee, we had to leave the premises entirely to enjoy it elsewhere. The common areas are minimal, making up in vertical design what they lack in floor space. The rooms are, as expected for Manhattan, small — but the layout makes the tightness feel even more pronounced. The sharp corner of the bedside table sits alarmingly close to the bed, at a height and angle that could use a warning label. Our in-room fridge couldn’t fit leftovers from a salad, and as it turned out, it wasn’t working anyway. Engineering came to check, couldn’t fix it, and replaced it with a tiny 2x2x2 unit that blocked half the bathroom door and precious hallway space. This was my first stay on Manhattan’s west side. The location suited our trip’s goals, but overall, I wouldn’t book the Arlo Midtown again.

The best service and quality of hotel is truly amazing. Straight from the get go when I got there I utilized their valet service since I was staying three night and you really don’t need to drive in New York at all. I was greeted in front of the hotel when I got there and I got checked in 2 hours earlier than scheduled on the 26th floor (they had something available luckily) which was complementary. Alex had the front desk answered all my questions and concerns on how everything works since it was also my first time in New York City and gave me a bunch of recommendation to see to enjoy my Visit. 10/10 experience, Arlo midtown is my go to hotel whenever I come to New York City. Thank you to the amazing team and my boy Alex 🤝👍

This hotel had some great features but also several drawbacks. The elevator system was excellent — fully automated, you just scan your key and it takes you directly to your floor. The gym was spacious with modern equipment, the lobby looked impressive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room itself was very small. While the view was nice, the smell inside was unpleasant, with dirty carpets and floors adding to the issue, so overall it didn’t feel clean. The soundproofing between rooms was good, but street noise was still loud enough that I had to sleep with earplugs.
