We stayed here for our second anniversary and it was perfect. It was enough escape from Times Square but also the perfect distance to get anywhere we wanted. Very close to a subway station. The hotel was beautiful, the people were kind, and the rooms were modern. I gave the rooms a 4 because people should be aware that’s it’s a true NYC stay and they are a little tight. We like that kind of vibe so it was fun for us and we don’t spend time in the room but it was very tidy. The bathroom was really pretty. We loved our stay and how beautiful it was for the price we paid. Definitely will stay again!

We are a family of 5, 2 adults, 2 kids, and 1 infant who stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. We had a fabulous stay. Very trendy hotel with an upbeat vibe. The rooms were incredibly comfy, food was delicious, and location was perfect for us. Super star moments go to Petra who was our waitress. She was so incredibly friendly and accommodating to our large family. We also appreciated the gentleman who checked us in. He was very friendly which was nice to see after a looooong day of travel. Looking forward to returning!

Accessible king rooms were large, comfortable and had power plugs/ports and light controls on both sides of the bed. Note you won’t have shower curtains with this room type. Our room was only available at 5:30PM which wasn’t great, but the front desk was so helpful and really wanted to find a solution for us. Big fan of all the staff here.

Arlo Midtown is hands down my favorite hotel in the city—I’ve stayed here at least 10 times already! From the moment you walk in, the lobby always smells incredible and sets the tone for a relaxing stay. The staff is consistently welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home every time. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. On my most recent stay, the view from my room was absolutely incredible. I wish I had taken a picture, but honestly, the room looked exactly as shown on their website—no surprises, just great quality. I also love spending time at The Bar Room at Altair—it's the perfect spot to grab drinks and unwind, and the music is always on point. If you're looking for a hotel that gets all the details right, Arlo Midtown is the place to be!

I'm writing this review specifically to thank Kenneth Addae at Arlo Midtown's front desk, for being a rockstar at his job and a genuinely good dude. I had just flown into New York for my friend's wedding, and before I even landed, I already had an issue with my card declining the charge for my room reservation. Worse yet, when I saw that declined charge, I realized I had left home without carrying any physical credit card on my person at all. I rolled up to Arlo to check in, fully expecting and ready for — at best, a huge hassle — and at worst, being unable to check in to my room at all due to not having a valid form of payment. I was totally a ball of stress and felt like a dummy. Instead, Kenneth the lobby host knew exactly what to do, and he simply handled all that business for me. He set up a manual authorization, got my ID sorted, and had me in my room in under five minutes, which is FASTER than most normal check-ins I've ever experienced. Kenneth was professional, insanely efficient, while simultaneously shooting the breeze with me about my hometown and even throwing some encouragement my way — making what could have been a pretty embarrassing situation actually feel totally fine. Bro single-handedly made Arlo Midtown look and feel like a billion bucks. Thanks again Kenneth!
