Stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The hotel is well-maintained and feels premium without being overly formal. Location is excellent — just a few blocks from Times Square, close to everything but easy to step away from the crowds when needed. Check-in was smooth and the staff were genuinely friendly throughout the stay. Amenities are top-notch. There’s a gym on-site (the water filter is in the gym area — handy to know). The rooftop café is a highlight — great spot to unwind with a solid view of the NYC skyline. Room views are impressive too, which isn’t guaranteed in Midtown. One thing to keep in mind: the standard rooms can feel a bit snug for a family. Worth upgrading to a larger room if you’re travelling with kids. Overall, a great pick for solo travellers, couples, and business trips alike. Families should just factor in room size when booking.

Now I usually wait till after the end of my visit to do a review on a hotel, but with the incredible service I just received, this can’t wait. First off 2nd time my family and I stayed at the Arlo and this is an incredible hotel. It’s right in midtown, very safe area night to day, in the heart of NY so you’re not far from a train that’ll take you to Harlem, uptown, Brooklyn or even penn station. The room is clean, has all the essentials and more! the view we got was sensational! The price is perfect for the service and quality of the room, I do a lot of inspections on hotel sanitation and this one passed my test flying colors! Now for the service that had me rolling, I had called the front desk for towels and the exact moment I put the phone down a guy named Pemba came with towels, immediately, with a smile and immaculate customer service. I then asked for shower caps and water and he provided it with a smile, great attitude and very fast. I have never had a hotel provide extra accommodations this quickly I almost thought he had the speed force. Anyways, I’ve lived in Ny all my life and I got to say, this is a great place to stay. Will be back next time! Clean room, great staff, amazing location, and incredible service! Keep it up!

Great hotel! Location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of mid town. Shoutout to Whitney for her amazing service and upgrading my room to this beautiful view. She was so pleasant at check in and made my stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend the breakfast as well at Altair! I will definitely book another stay at any Arlo in the future.

Stayed in the king high floor, balcony with city view room during my visit to New York. The views are incredible. Service was great, room service came by everyday and we even got a text one day to verify if we wanted cleaning when we forgot to turn off our DND light! The hotel itself is in a nice spot, not too noisy, about a 10 min walk from times square. We enjoyed the comfy bed and the rooftop bar/restaurant. Attached is the view from our balcony!

What a lovely and comfortable stay! Once you enter the hotel lobby you’re enveloped by this wonderful scent… not too perfumey.. but an aroma.. was it sandalwood? Whatever it was it was lovely. Set the bar for the rest of the stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Stark white sheets, soft fluffy towels. We were greeted by a gracious staff. We arrived a little early so the room was not quite ready, but the hotel will hold stow your luggage whilst you decide to grab lunch or go on a walk and take in the city. We also had brunch at the Altair, which was delicious. Looking forward to our next meal at the Altair and stay at the Arlo. Thank you.
