We have stayed here many many times. Super comfy bed and staff were very sweet. We went to our room, only to find that it was not vacant!!!! Second time that has happened there!!😮lucky for those guests that we are honest people!! When we went back down to get a new room the receptionist was very cold! Iqw felt We were bothering her! She was not the first one who had signed us in. She was very sweet. The room was so small- not like other times we stayed there. The tiny shower, with the drain in the middle, caused my husband to keep slipping!!! Actually got banged up a bit. Love the location and comfy bed and lounge but not too happy with this visit this time …

Great hotel, great value, great location and nice staff. My room was nice and big and so was the bed! The only complain I have is that the elevator is being renovated, apparently it has been months. It’s sometimes annoying especially in the morning as people need to check out.

Stayed here back in November for 7 nights. I had a great stay and never had any issue with the room or the staff as everyone was lovely. In saying that the room was pretty warm at times and I was unable to turn the heat down. I did have a couple of issues tho. When I checked into the hotel I was told I have $700 to pay for a tax and a security hold. I think this is a crazy amount of money to ask for someone to pay on the first day. Very unhappy about this. The other issue was the elevators. This took forever to arrive and the people waiting was crazy. I would stay in the hotel again if the elevators were fixed and they reduced the price you have to pay for a tax and security fee.

Older hotel, staff accommodating, especially concierge. Room good size, large closet. Had iron, ironing board and safe. Central Market had ample snacks and drinks, hours 6 to 6.
We had been told in advance of elevator work in progress, service elevator was used several times. Very nice lounge.
Would stay again.

Nice hotel and SUPER friendly housekeeping staff... seriously, they were THE BEST!
The front desk ranged from super helpful/friendly to average... but no problems there.
They were replacing elevators and so only 1 or 2 of many were operable which made for RIDICULOUSLY long waits to get up to/down from your floor.
My real issue is the amenities IN the rooms. The rooms themselves were nice enough with a lot of NYC photography which I really enjoyed but...
No refrigerator
No coffee maker (and nowhere to even buy coffee before 6:30 am)
No microwave
No USB ports anywhere
The clock doesn't light up at all so you have to turn the light on to see the time.
The view was trash (this I didn't actually mind too too much... Manhattan isn't called the Concrete Jungle for nothing.)
Plus free breakfast and coffee were offered but only to certain guests and we didn't make the cut despite our $8k price tag.
This was a work related trip but I wouldn't book it again if I had a choice.
