We stayed here at the beginning of July with our family of five. We had reserved two rooms for seven nights. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a fresh lobby, and the reception was smooth and friendly. Check-in went very smoothly; $500 was reserved per room on the credit card. At check-out, the resort fee was deducted, and the remaining amount was promptly released.
We were given two well-maintained rooms on the fifth floor, which turned out to be a blessing since only one elevator was working. The staff who cleaned our rooms did an excellent job. We received fresh towels daily, and the room was kept tidy.
A downside was the very noisy air conditioning, which continued to blow loudly even after being turned off. Earplugs are not a luxury.
The location is excellent and perfect as a base for exploring NYC. The hotel is easily accessible via the subway, and there is a wide selection of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. However, the hotel itself is very large, which can make the lobby extremely busy at times.
I can definitely recommend this hotel and hope that the issue with the elevators is resolved soon, as it attracts unnecessary criticism.

The location was great. There was only one working elevator, which made it a nightmare to get back-and-forth from my room or get anywhere on time. Apparently it’s been this way for a while. Definitely beware of that room service wasn’t working, which was inconvenient. The room was larger than I anticipated. The beds were comfortable. The cleanliness was fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful when they could be. It was overpriced mainly because of the elevator situation I think the room prices are similar to in the other three star New York Hotel. I would not stay there again because of the elevators. I gave it three stars for service not because of the staff because of the elevator situation

Great location. Way overpriced room. One working elevator. Waiting 15 minutes to go up or down is ridiculous, found out it’s been this way for quite some time despite the signs posted. Housekeeping was good. Room and bathroom are tiny for the price! Concierge was nice and helpful. No coffee in the room and we asked the front desk, denied, told to go pay for coffee at the market store. Bar is not open until 5pm. They have a nice lounge but you cannot get a drink until 5pm.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the size of our room with two double beds. The room was larger than expected with a closet separating the two beds giving additional privacy. Th room was very clean and comfortable.
The only recommendation I would make is that you clarify and be sure of the final cost with all taxes and fees when making reservations over the phone. The final cost was more than 400.00 over the total I was promised over the phone (which I was assured included all taxes and fees and discount of 15% for over 3 day stay). But all in all, I was pleased with the hotel and enjoyed our stay.

We booked our stay here for a week, and I’m surprised from the reviews.
The service and lobbyists were very sweet and helpful, some of the cleaners helped us use the service elevators.
The elevators on the other hand was annoying at times, there would be a que lined up because of the single elevator working. But there are staircases available and the second elevator got fixed on our last day.
We had our room in floor 5, and the room we had was practical and functional, two beds and a bathroom. There were minor damages on the walls and scratches everywhere, along with the outlets. But it was okay and clean.
The location of the Hotel is great, super close to central park along with Times square, Carnegie hall.. Overall a decent hotel and probably would
recommend!
