My family and I arrived on Friday, October 31st, and had to wait to get our room. When we finally checked in, the room was old, dingy, and had a very unpleasant smell because of the broken ventilator in the bathroom (causing a musty snell feom rhe trapped moisture). The beds were uncomfortable, and the noise level was unacceptable—despite my prior call to request a quiet, high-floor room and paying extra to avoid noise. Unfortunately, our room was still extremely noisy. I repeatedly tried to contact the manager to request a room change, but she was unavailable and unhelpful when she eventually responded. We spent most of our time outside just to avoid being in the room, only returning to sleep for a few hours. Unlike other hotels around the world that cleans people's room on a daily basis, at this hotel you need to ask for that service! I am still baffled!! This hotel is not worth the price and current ratings. If you value sleep, peace, and a pleasant stay, DO NOT book here. The only positive is the location, everything else was disappointing!

Hi, we're about to leave. Room 1730 from October 15 to October 20. We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Great location, good room, good daily cleaning, and daily towel changes. Excellent staff, although not all of the reception staff were a bit grumpy all the time. Haha, haha. Likewise, the hotel and all its staff are 100% recommendable. We'll come back on our next visit. Thank you very much.

⭐ ZERO STARS — Truly Horrible Experience at The Park Central I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my stay at The Park Central was so awful that I feel obligated to warn others. Our room was extremely hot, and the air conditioning didn’t work. When we went to the front desk for help, they said maintenance would come “right up.” We waited over two hours, and no one ever showed. When we went down again to follow up, the woman at the desk didn’t even lift her head to acknowledge us — she just said “okay.” There were no towels or soap in the bathroom, and a giant hairball left in the trash. The heat made me physically ill, and our room phone didn’t even work to call the front desk. We ended up booking an earlier flight just to get out of the hotel. On checkout, one kind employee finally spoke to us and confirmed there was no record whatsoever of our complaint in the system. That was the final insult. I paid over $700 per night for this room and expected at least basic hospitality. Instead, it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had — disorganized, unhygienic, and completely unresponsive staff. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Zero stars if I could give them less.
Three kids and one business
I liked this hotel, really wanted to like it. Am trying to find a hotel that I can return to on future visits. I booked a room type but was given another room type because I checked in late. This was a real bummer to me. I don’t normally have a problem with this, but I purposely booked an upgraded room type because I was going to be using the room quite a bit. So, I couldn’t give it five stars. Maybe next time.

Paid over $330 a night for a view of noisy aircon pipes, a dilapidated room & truly poor service. Not 4 star at all. Avoid. The Reception desk couldn’t be bothered to advise anything about facilities/breakfast vouchers or options/wifi/ice - basics. Wouldn’t even check if my room was available at 3.10pm instead of 4pm. Long queues at desks throughout the day as never all points manned. Lots of people asking for managers. The room looked like it was painted in the dark and had a dusty paint-spattered carpet & dirty drips. I know the room was not hoovered as crumbs left. I didn’t get cups until day 2, broken drawers, no mini-fridge (and this wasn’t cheap room we selected) and it was seriously hot with v large, noisy aircon. Felt dated & old, especially mouldy grout/bathroom sealant which you don’t expect at this price. Bathroom was teeny, mouldy, dirty….but a good shower. Hallways full of busy housekeeping trolleys & bags of dirty linen to navigate around all hours of day. Location was excellent for my office & Central Park/broadway. Bed v comfortable.
