We enjoyed our stay in March, had plenty of room for four people in a double room. But I’d definitely not recommend staying here after my post-checkout experience. I left my travel steamer and my hair straightener in the room, and I called the same day to see if they could recover it for me. Security went to my room, which hadn’t been cleaned yet. They found both items, and since a coworker was still staying at the hotel for another day, they gave me instructions for how it could be picked up. My coworker went to get the items the following day, and somehow now my items were nowhere to be found. She stayed for probably 20 minutes while they searched for the items, to no avail. I immediately sent an email and was told that (magically!) the items had been found again. I was also told I could purchase my own prepaid shipping materials and ship it to the hotel - instead of the hotel offering to send my items to me as a courtesy because it’s the fault of their staff that they were not able to be picked up in person. Here we are over two months later, and despite numerous attempts to get them to just send me my stuff, they still haven’t. I’ve held off on writing this review for a long time and given them plenty of chances, but it appears that I’ll never be returned my items unless I spend at least $50 on shipping materials, even though the only reason it’s needing to be shipped is because of the fault of the hotel.

5 stars for location , that’s the main point 👍🏻 The rest was okay,there was big cockroach in our room but we didint reported it as we were so excited to be in NYC, rooms were cleaned every day however only bedsheets were changed , we had amazing view from our hotel and it was close to time square , Central Park and underground. Overall was amazing and I know that I will definitely come back to NYC but I won’t choose this hotel anymore .After checking reviews I was scared during my stay in that hotel, that I will be charged for smoking alarm , but it didn’t happened luckily . Deposit was refunded a day before we were leaving so everything went smooth.

Marcia was absolutely amazing and made my experience so much better. She was kind, professional, welcoming, and always had a smile on her face. From the moment I arrived, she treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out. She went above and beyond to help whenever I needed anything, and her friendly personality made the hotel feel more welcoming. Thank you, Marcia, for your kindness and professionalism. The hotel is lucky to have someone like you at the lobby.

This is a very centrally located hotel and was convenient to the sites and subway. However, that is about where it ends for the benefits of staying in this hotel. We stayed Dec 20-24, and reading the other reviews we had level set expectations. We also acknowledge that we paid a lot less for this hotel than others in the area over the same dates; so we knew going in it wasn’t going to be the best experience. At the end of the day, I would never stay at this hotel again and strongly consider others to think about doing so. I can look past the tattered window shades, etc… but what I think are basic items for a successful stay- the temperature of the room and hot water- are things that did not deliver on this stay. Our room seemed to be in a “heat only” mode- and our room was like a furnace! It was extremely uncomfortable and there was no way to cool the room down- we had the thermostat set at 65, and the heat was constantly on. Also, hot water is a scarcity in this hotel. The elevators are a HUGE issue- sometimes waiting over 30minutes to get on an elevator. Many times we chose to walk down or up to our room on the 18th floor. At the end of the day, it was a good thing that we were out most of the day enjoying the sites; but what is supposed to be a respite from exploring the busy streets, this is not that hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The rooms suck. They limit your use of air conditioning to only certain months. They have two different sets of elevators, One for floors 1 through 18 and then another set for floors 19 and above. It creates lines when none are necessary. There was a hair on our bed. The body wash and shampoo were empty in the shower. There was no mini fridge in the room. I mean just basic stuff that is in every hotel room was not in ours. They are completely getting by on their location in Midtown. The hotel sucks. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one star is because you can check your luggage before checking in which was convenient for us before the Yankee game. Go somewhere else.
