We had a wonderful experience at the hotel, and without a doubt, the main highlight was the exceptional service from Jenn at the front desk. She helped us during both check-in and check-out, and in both moments she was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Her professional attitude, combined with genuine kindness, made a real difference in our stay in New York. It's rare to come across professionals who truly love what they do and can show it through their service. Jenn is exactly that kind of person — and she left a lasting impression on us. More professionals like her, please! This stay definitely started and ended with a smile, thanks to her.

This stay at the Hotel Edison was fabulous. Everyone that we came into contact with treated us respect, kindness, professionalism is top-notch, and each staff member has a great willingness to help. Easy check-in and checkout. The room was exactly as described. Very clean and perfect. Special thank you to the doorman Gio. He went above and beyond in helping us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back. Best New York City stay I’ve ever had. I would recommend it to everyone.

I recently stayed at Hotel Edison in New York and found it to be a solid budget option, especially for solo travelers like myself. The biggest plus is its fantastic location — right next to Times Square and very close to the 50th Street metro station, making it super convenient to explore the city or get to work on time. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though not very spacious, but they work perfectly for solo stays. The grab-and-go breakfast is a helpful touch, especially if you have early office hours or want to start your day quickly. One minor annoyance was that the staff ask to see your room key every time you enter, even after staying multiple days. It would be better if they recognized guests who are clearly on an extended stay. Overall, it’s a good hotel with a great location, decent amenities, and good value for money.

Traveling from London family of 4: 3 adults and 1 teenager. Stayed between 03/04 to 10/04 It is a charming, well maintained hotel. Great place to stay if you'd like to be close to shops, restaurants in Times square this hotel is very close . I like the way how hotel policies deal with a safety first, the way to enter into lift (elevator area) to go to your room ( you need to show the room key to pass a member of staff ) in our 6 night stay there, always it was a member of staff and politely asking for your key from, very nice. Also I remember the evening champagne reception for guests with cheese bits and great music between 5-6 pm Tuesdays and Fridays, also to see the Manager of the Edison Hotel there it make you to fill great family atmosphere. Housekeeping team wonderful, polite and always asking if you need something. Breakfast - very taste and hot. Reception area friendly staff, polite including the gentleman who help you to carry your luggage. Dormen - all my respect sir Pleased to see Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal who left from Ethel Barrymore Theatre in front of Edison Hotel Much appreciate all your effort to make our stay memorable for me and my family.

Meme Humbug

I wanted to find a clean hotel **with NYC character** for our first quick trip for a girl overnight shopping trip and this hotel was perfect! We had a large glorious shower and everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. A great perk is that when you are walking around town, they can hold your luggage. We celebrated a birthday there and the hotel helped make the day memorable,...special thanks to Justina for being a sweetheart! Thanks for the experience!
