We booked for a quick city trip. I loved the location and closeness to times square. It made traveling to the American Girl store a breeze (which was the point of our visit). Being able to check out bags prior to check in was amazing. The staff was respectful and made the process smooth. Upon check in, it was quick at the kiosk and we were to our room in under 10 minutes. The room was more spacious than pictured and described. Bathroom was small but did not take away from the overall room. Room was clean and even during renovations, there was no disruption.

Our annual girls trip was to NYC this year and we had 24 women stay in the house last week. We are a lot to handle, but every department we came in contact with was polite, helpful, and prompt to handle our requests and needs. The restaurants are fun and delicious. Make sure to check out the basement level as it is a gorgeous place to have a lovely drink. One of us left valuables in the safe and I have to say their security team, especially Jonathan Bracero we’re on top of it. Very accommodating and you cannot beat the location! We would absolutely stay there again!

We booked the hotel(room with 2 queen bed)thinking it's 4 star. But we were totally disappointed. The room was tiny and no amenities like refrigerator or microwave was available. There is no couch or coffee table. The bed faces the bathroom directly and is a huge design flaw. Our room was next to ice dispenser and the noise from it made our stay miserable. Grab n go breakfast is a let down for vegetarians. The line for check in s always long. We needed 1 extra towel and body wash and called the housekeeping 3 times. Then had to go to the lobby and we're informed that all the 8 housekeeping service numbers were not responding. Such a ridiculous excuse. Finally the things were delivered after 2 hrs. The elevator sensors don't work and we were hit by the door every time. The windows in the room opens to a horrible view and the room s always dark. Only good thing about the hotel is it's proximity to Times square. Honestly felt Best Western or Quality Inn s better than this.

I've been staying at the Edison Hotel for many years. Its location is perfect - close to Times Square and most of the theaters. Our room was quite big for a NY room, but the bathroom was very small. Things were always clean both in our room and the hotel in general. And they offered extra Perks. One was a Triumph walking tour to various parts of NYC. The one we took went over to Rockefeller center and it was a great introduction to the area. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and to top it off, it was free. Also free was wine of certain days between 5:00 and 6:00. There was also entertainment while we sipped our wine. And there were 3 ways to get a free breakfast. We tried them all. Edison Hotel is the only place I'd stay.

This was our first time visiting NYC and our experience couldn't have been better! The Hotel Edison was the perfect location for us to walk to everything we wanted to see in the short time we had. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was great! I can't say enough nice things about the travel concierge (Rolando) who helped us figure out transport from the airport ahead of time as well as taxis in the city. He went above and beyond in helping us and was so extremely helpful, as we had my handicapped 81 year old father with us and had to accommodate this!!! It was very appreciated!! We loved NYC and would definitely stay here again!
