It's a great location. We walked or took the subway (station right across the street) the whole week. I wouldn't say this was a 4 star hotel but not nearly as bad as some reviewers made it sound. For the price it was more than fair. Room was small but not cramped. The bed was a bit creaky but I slept okay. The water pressure in the shower was lacking but hot water worked fine. It was like showering in warm rain. Room A/C was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. I requested a fridge which ended up in the wrong room and when I asked again they got it to our room in 15 minutes! Would stay again! We had a lovely time!

The hotel is in a great location, next to Time Square. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The room didn’t feel properly cleaned, and the beds were uncomfortable with lumpy mattresses and flat pillows that didn’t provide good support. On top of that, the towels were thin and almost transparent, making it hard to feel clean after using them.
I had booked a double bed room but ended up with just one bed, which was disappointing and not what I had expected. Despite the helpful staff and good location, I would hesitate to stay here again due to the lack of comfort and attention to detail.

Great location for Times Square and the theatres. Plenty of shops nearby to find gifts and subway stations to take you elsewhere in the city.
Rooms are small as is the bathroom and they didn’t feel the most clean. No real space to store luggage. Bed comfy and TV has plenty of channels.
Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating.
If you want a short stay in NYC this is perfect, any longer than a couple of nights and it might not be the most comfortable stay due to space constraints.

Obviously the location is great. I don't mind about the small rooms, seems obvious in NYC and with the price for this hotel!? However, the cleanliness of the rooms could be a million times better, I don't even mind the flaking paint or marks on the wall, but honestly, for example, I didn't even want to walk on the carpet in my bare feet and the light switches in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been wiped since I don't when! Otherwise it was grand, had a very friendly member of staff help us out with our bags and I would consider to stay again if cleanliness dramatically improved! Lobby was also very nice!

Don't believe the photos! The room is like something that fell out of a thrift store. The bed is squeaky and lumpy. No desk and chair. Cheap side tables. I booked the Deluxe King and looks like I got the worst room in the hotel. Not a happy camper right now. 1st trip to NY and my room sucks. Location is good. This is worse than a motor inn. Could've at least had a comfy bed in the room. Staff is pleasant.
