Loved my stay at Arlo NoMad. The location is excellent, with easy access to great restaurants, Penn Station, Grand Central, Madison Square Garden, Madison Square Park, and both the east and west sides of Manhattan. It is a perfect home base for getting around the city. What stood out most was the team. No matter the time of day, everyone was welcoming, helpful, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. I was in town during a difficult time, and they truly made me feel at home. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well designed, with hip, playful spaces and convenient co-working areas if you need them. The rooms are not big, but they are very efficient and functional, with comfortable beds, good products, great towels, no carpet, and windows that open a bit, which I always love in New York. Also a plus is to book on a higher floor or the corner with the double floor to ceiling windows. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to go to the roof bar because it was closed as it is still winter in New York. But next time when I return in early June I will stay at the Arlo again. Nomad Diner in the hotel is a great bonus and serves food all day. Breakfast was very good, the matcha was delicious, and I also enjoyed a great drink at the bar one evening. I would absolutely recommend Arlo NoMad and would happily stay there again.

We had a great three-night stay at Arlo NoMad in December 2025! From the moment we arrived, Brianna M. at guest services was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When she asked about the purpose of our trip, I mentioned we were celebrating my 30th birthday. She kindly said she would see if a complimentary upgrade might be possible for our second day. Our initial room was adequate, definitely small, but had everything we needed. On our second day, Brianna M. went above and beyond and upgraded us to a stunning city-view where we could see the Empire State Building! I believe the upgraded room was an accessible room with a roll-in shower. The only downside was the shower setup — the showerhead had to be held the entire time, and water tended to pool on the bathroom floor while showering. It wasn’t ideal, but the incredible views more than made up for it. Brianna M. was accommodating throughout our stay, and the entire staff was consistently friendly, always greeting us, even in the elevator. The location is great and very central, making it easy to explore the city.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and we were so impressed! Firstly, the staff (shoutout lily) who checked us in were amazing. They were so friendly and really gave us a good welcome to the city. Then our room… wow! Our room looked out onto the Empire State Building, which was utterly breathtaking. Our room was clean and just perfect for our short city stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone we know visiting NYC!🌃

I paid entirely too much money for the size of the room I was given- but to be fair I did book on a peak weekend in NYC. The normal fare for the hotel isn't as steep as what I had paid, but that is honestly my biggest gripe. I stayed in a queen bed room with my partner, and it was incredibly cramped for the 2 of us. We had to back up out of each other's ways a lot and step around each other. There's barely a foot of room between the foot of the bed and the wall, and the TV was mounted there anyway, so I often had to crawl on the bed to access the other side of the room. Maybe if you had a higher floor, the view would have made up for it. We stayed on the 4th floor, so our room had barely any natural lighting with the other high rises in the way and our view wasn't anything to rave about. All these photos online are all the higher floors and corner rooms with floor to ceiling windows. That's not the reality for probably most of the hotel. The staff was super friendly, and the hotel itself is very cute and trendy. I had no issues with my stay at all, but I wanted to leave the review to set people's expectations of rooms and size. The location is amazing. Close to a subway stop and KTown. The food options nearby are absolutely incredible. I would say this is the definitely the kind of hotel you stay in when you are spending the whole day OUT and only need a place to sleep.

Just back from a Christmas trip to NYC. I’d firstly like to comment on the service at this hotel, which was AMAZING! The workers in reception are more than helpful. They greet you every morning/evening with a smile and go above and beyond to help out. We were unfortunately cancelled getting back home and the reception were quick to help us and ensure we were accommodated. Service was fab, rooms were clean and water supplied daily. Showers were lovely and pressure too. I know for me this is a big bonus so thought I’d add it in. Rooms, in all honesty, are clean, modern but very small. We had a standard queen, the bed and pillows were LOVELY, but the room was a slight struggle trying to get ready and store clothes with two people but in all honesty, its location, service and cleanliness were fine for us, seeing as we were only in the room for night time and not day. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again. Anyone leaving bad reviews about the size of the room, if this affects you, simply find elsewhere with bigger rooms. If this doesn’t, I’d highly recommend this hotel and the friendly staff that come with it. I wish I had gotten the names of the lovely workers who helped us. We hope you have a happy new year and hopefully look forward to coming back in the future :)
