Please listen to all of the bad reviews here. I ignored them and it was a huge mistake. We were instructed to not put the ac below 72. The ac never got cold enough. Purchased a fan hoping to circulate more air. The hotel was very humid and muggy. We were all sweating through the night. We had no hot water for 2 days. There was a ring of dirt around the bath tub. Only 2 towels available but 4 people.. Stains on the beds. We had 3 beds and only 2 blankets. We asked the front for another blanket and they said they didn't have any… so went to the store to buy our own blanket. coffee pot with no coffee. So once again went to the store to buy coffee but the coffee pot ended up being broken anyways. When complaining about any of this hoping to have it fixed, the only response we really got was “thanks for your feedback”… hot water started working again 30 minutes before check out. Clearly not enough time to finally get the showers we needed. I will gladly pay more to stay anywhere else next time we come to Orlando.

Cockroaches! In all my years of travelling around the world, this is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel with cockroaches. At check-in, the TV in the lobby was playing Super Troopers and we eventually had to ask the front desk to change the station due to the nudity and mature content our young kids were being subjected to as we waited for our room (for those not familiar, it contains nudity and many, many sexual references/acts). We were disappointed to find many large stains all over the carpet in our room, the furniture was also stained and very worn. Our kids were horrified, we figured we'd try to make the best of it and leave our shoes on while in the room. Until! The second night we arrived back late in the dark and flipped the light switch in the room to find cockroaches scurrying along the kitchen counters. Heck NO. The only saving grace was that the front desk staff were willing to refund us the following nights so we could book elsewhere. When I mentioned the cockroaches, it was clearly not a surprise to them as all I got was a tepid "We're sorry to hear your stay was less than ideal" (paraphrased). Do not recommend.

Stayed here for 2 days with my sister and partner. When checking in the guy was very friendly with the people in front of me but did a 180 when I got to him. Right when you get into the room the smell of cigarettes just hits you in the face, it was also a none smoking room. When we went into the bathroom they left opened already used soap out with no extra soap to replace it. Told the guy about the smoke smell so he wouldn't blame us along with the soap, he didn't seem to care about the smell but brought us more soap. We used the "kitchen" area to make some food and one of the burners were out. If I'm being honest, out of the whole room, the refrigerator was the cleanest. When I went to check out I used the stairwell, while going down i found a cigarette that was just recently used. All the pictures you see on their website is completely outdated and does not look that nice. This place doesn't look nice and lively like the pictures, rather dark and unwelcoming. I don't understand how this place has 3.9 stars, but if I could I'd give it 0 stars.

We were a group wanting 4 rooms, walked in to check with the front desk, stood there for 13 minutes while the rest of the group waiting outside , the front desk employee had one customer only who looks like been there for a while , all of my time standing looking him in the eye , the employee didn’t even bother to greet or say hi or acknowledge my existence as a customer who’s walking in, I swallowed it for 13 minutes and tried to get his attention many times but nothing! Not even a “I’ll be right with you “ clearly that gave me a clear message about the service we were gona receive and just walked out with the group to a hotel right next to it in which they were busy a little at the desk but greeted and acknowledge us as a customer . When you are in the hospitality business their are basics , and sky suites didn’t have it for sure. I urge you to invest in your employees and in the employees selection HR process.

The only upside was location. This hotel is truly something else. Can’t turn down ac can’t jump in pool bus unfriendly staff and even owners I guess up stay try and make it seem like it’s okay and it’s my fault. Don’t waste your time with this place. NO BREAKFAST either.
