Don't do it. It's not worth a penny. I usually stay at Rosen international but tried to save a few dollars here. I stay at Red roof plus in Jacksonville and it's fine. They actually do have premium rooms and the place feels clean. This house is HORRIBLE!!! Our room was WET from humidity, tape on the walls, the fire alarm was on the chair, furniture is really beaten up. Smells of mold and nasty. There was nothing premium about this room at all and it's way below what I expected even for Red roof. On a positive note, staff was friendly and they were actively working around the property. The sheets and towels seemed clean. Beds were comfortable. The location is great and it was pretty quiet considering being right next to the highway and icon park.

Every positive thing you've seen about this hotel is a lie- including the pictures they show on the website. Absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I don't even think it should be open for business, it should be condemned. 3 star rating according to Google. LIES. Checked into our room and saw how dilapidated it was right away. Poorly patched holes in the walls, some rotten holes and crevices they didn't bother to patch. Mold everywhere. Everything was damp. Nothing was cleaned well, filth in all the corners. I don't think the hallway carpet on our floor even knew what a vacuum was. Debris and even dog poop all over. But worst of all was the roaches. Turn the lights off or open food in the room and watch the roaches pour out of the cracks and holes, from behind the mirrors, everywhere. I felt like I was in Joe's Apartment. Went to the desk and asked to switch rooms, nothing available. The clerk gave me a bottle of "bug spray" in a squirt bottle. 'Why stay?' you ask. We were refugees, fleeing for our lives from Hurricane Milton the Destroyer, like half of FL- which has to be the only reason this hotel has ever been filled to capacity. No one who had another option would stay here. We got into a different room the 2nd day of our stay and it was a little newer- or at least had a fresh coat of paint over the mold. It wasn't AS infested with roaches as the previous room, but they were there. Not much need to go into details on the second room. It held no surprises after the 1st room. Just more of the same. In summary: stay somewhere else. ANYwhere else. Under an overpass would be better.

AVOID! We checked in and walked to our room. Not even 2 minutes of walking inside the room we walked right out and asked for a refund. There was mold everywhere, the cabinets were falling apart, it smelled like cigarettes, and the sheets were dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. It was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. The pictures are definitely false advertisement. It was 2am, luckily we found another hotel down the road, it was more in price but worth it. DO NOT BOOK!

This is the worse hotel experience ever! I am an employee at a Red Roof Inn in a different state and I am appalled at the conditions of this hotel. This is supposed to be an upgrade from the normal Red Roof Inns as it’s a “Plus” Red Roof however it’s way worse than a regular Red Roof Inn. As others stated before, I didn’t think to look at the reviews before booking and should have. I assumed by working at Red Roof Inn that it would be a nice decent place to stay. I was dead wrong. The images online are completely false advertisement. The lobby was deceiving for what the rest of the hotel looks like. I killed two roaches in the room, see images attached. The first impression of the hallway to the rooms was nasty, dirty, run down, paint peeling, smell of weed off and on, and rusted looking. I don’t know how the room was marked ready because there were absolutely NO towels, wash clothes, hand towels, or a bath mat in the room when we first arrived. There was a broken/no towel rack in the bathroom. There were stained sheets, pillow cases, and towels. The lampshades were filthy and fake leather chairs were peeling. The door did not shut properly and had to slam the door to shut it. Some outlets were broken and did not work. I don’t know how or why the housekeeper thought the sheet they put on our bed was okay to use with how stained it was. We had to ask for a new sheet and even that one had small stains on it. The housekeeping carts where they put our clean towels and wash cloths looked filthy and run down. The whole floor was soaking wet when we first arrived and did not dry all day. Had to ask for a mop to dry the floor and they gave me an old towel to dry it. The whole room felt unclean and unsanitary. They had no back up towels or wash cloths at night and said we had to wait till the housekeepers came at 9am in the morning. They need to shut this hotel down because it needs a major upgrade and is currently just not safe for people to stay in. They need new management because with all these negative reviews they have made no upgrades, changes or better conditions for the customers. Looked back and seen at least 2 years of negative reviews with the same issues, complaints and concerns with no changes or upgrades done. Especially with the roach concern. Are they not spraying every month? Because if I see a roach inside it should be dead. They need to be reported to the Better Business Bureau and to the health commissioner and be shut down immediately. I have never written a review but this HAD to be done on this hotel. This hotel gives a bad representation for the Red Roof Franchise.

I came here for an AU Volleyball Tournment for my daughter. Looking for an inexpensive but decent stay. I figure Red roof is a chain. It can't be that bad, I thought wrong . I'm in Orlando and everything's expensive. I got a great price but this is absolutely the worst hotel I've ever been in in my entire 44 years of my life. Considering the location, I thought it would be in better condition and maybe I don't have to worry about any drama. I don't know that this hotel has actually been renovated since like maybe the '90s. I have never seen anything like this. It is filthy. It makes you feel disgusting. People live there. Obviously there's going to be roaches aside from whatever other troubles come with people living in a hotel outside selling drugs and what not. The rust in every aspect to me is almost questionable to the point where it looks like the entire hotel has gone underwater at some point. The paint has not been painted. It's chipped in every place possible coming off the walls. I don't even feel like the sheets were changed almost. I did hear a guest come in while I was at the front desk and say that one of his sheets was dirty and one of his sheets was not so I can only assume that he just didn't see dirt because they definitely had not been changed. I had to sweep my own floor. There were no towels in my room upon arrival. When I confronted the front desk. They advised me they provide towels every other day. I had a reservation set up a day in advance for 4 days. I did not receive towels until almost 3:00 in the afternoon the next day. There was no hot water. I definitely do not recommend it, they need to shut this place down. I'm not even sure how this place is passing code. I definitely had to cancel my reservation and was advised that I could not get a receipt upon check out because the computer system was not working properly so I had to leave hoping that I was going to see the rest of my money that had been paid upfront. I did finally receive notification about 4 hours later, that I will get a refund within five to seven business days. We will see.
