The cons: Customer Service Would have given 4 stars if the bar man wasn't so rude to us when we entered the grill restaurant for dinner on the evening of Wednesday 7th February. Avoid the grill restaurant/bar at the front of the lobby if you don't want to be treated like a dog. In all my years working in the tourism & hospitality industry I've never encountered anyone so rude and inhospitable. His hostile manner really brings the place (and the mood) down. A career change might be the best option, sir. Rooms Our main feedback would be to replace the carpets as they're very dated, with lots of large stains from spillages. The pros: Food/Service After the strange & awkward encounter, we walked out of the grill bar and preceded to the Boardwalk Buffet restaurant instead, where the staff were lovely and welcoming (thank you ladies). The dinner buffet had a good selection, with fresh salads and fruit available along with hot food items. The breakfast buffet had a good selection with plenty to choose from, and it set us up for the day. Rooms The rooms are quite dated but they are very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night stay - lots of towels, coffee maker, TV, fridge, air con, etc. The beds are soft and we both slept very well. Location The hotel is a great base for the theme parks, and a free shuttle runs daily to these. A shopping mall can be found nearby with plenty of shops.

Big hotel close to shops and restaurants. Good staff. Orlando clock broke at the front desk. They had clocks from around the world. The the blow dryer in the room did not work. Plugged it into 2 different plugs. Hit the reset, nothing happened. Linen on the bed was very soft. Towels and everything were soft. Did not like the high step up. Tub needs a bar to get out to be safe. Television selection was not that great. Running through a 158 channels and over half of us are dark. No channel guide if you want to look at the local Channels. The worst thing or people getting off on the wrong floor kids running to look at the rooms and yelling late at night. This is the even side. This is the outside. Could not hear traffic in the parking lot, which was nice..

This is a beautiful hotel. The outdoor garden and seating area is so tropical. Room was beautiful and QUIET. Service is extremely excellent. Had trouble with my door security grand was there in 2 to 3 minutes. Close to Disney and other attractions plus outlet mall. I will stay again

First off I would like to start by squashing some negative reviews. This is a 3 star hotel not a 5 star resort such as the Gaylord Palms. This hotel is in a great location, right in the center of everything. The room was clean , it was a little dated ,however they are in the process of remodeling the hotel. Only one pool was open because of the renovation but it wasn't too far to walk to the other pool on site. The pool was good size and cleaner than the pool at the double tree. Everyone we encountered was extremely polite from check in until check out, especially the shuttle driver. So if you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay close to the parks and the Orlando outlet stores this is your place.

Older resort, one of the elevators didn't work. The beds were ok. The bathroom was old, outdated with stains around the tub. The staff was very nice. The owner needs to shut down part of the rooms and remodel. Beautiful and convenient location
