Rooms nice and spacious and clean. I had an issue with my room and the staff were great helping me move to a different room. Convenient location. Used the free shuttle bus to universal a few times and it was really handy and easy to book a space on. It was a bit overly busy coming back from the parks but could have walked back

I am revising my review after spending a second night in a different room. Firstly, when I told the front desk of my miserable night, the agent immediately offered to move my room. Kudos for doing the right thing. But still, if you have a noise problem, say something when offering such a room. A light sleeper will reject it while others may not care. My second room appeared to have been updated, new floors and the bathroom was redone. I got a restful night of sleep in a room on the opposite side of the hotel. The bathroom was much nicer too (still a tiny toilet and the fridge and microwave in the bathroom but a definite improvement. One last comment: The doors are hard to open! Don't even try unless both of your hands are free and you're ready to give the lever a good yank. This was at both rooms and seems to be due to the weatherstripping on the door. ----------------Original review below---------------- Don't accept a room facing the road. The noise is non-stop! I write this at 2:30am, haven been woken up for the fourth or fifth time. The bed is worn and you roll into the middle. The pillows are tiny and lumpy. The room is small and the bathroom is miniscule with a microwave and fridge in it. One elevator is out making it take a long time to go up to your room. Oh yeah, don't believe Google regarding free parking, it's $10 per day. Lastly, there is construction on the roads around the hotel making getting into and out of the property very difficult. For those who think that this is a 5 star hotel, I really feel bad for you that you've never actually experienced a 5 star hotel, for if you did, you'd know what a dump this place is. It's just one notch above a fleabag motel. Attn management: Please don't respond with your typical insincere apology. If you're concerned, you'd be offering a refund to show that you cared.

This hotel was an outstanding value. At $70 a night I felt like I was at a Hilton owned hotel but it isn't a part of the Hilton family at all. It's independently owned, a family owned collection of hotels that are considered Universal World partners. Immaculate grounds and well-appointed rooms and plenty of parking with a security guard at the front gate to welcome you and assure the riff raff stays outside the gate. I felt comfortable and secure at this hotel. The housekeeping staff was polite and efficient. My stay was wonderful and I would certainly make this the place I stay each time I'm in Orlando.

If I could give no stars I would! This place was horrible to stay in. It was noisy, dirty, unkempt, unprofessional and germ ridden. Despite asking 5 times for our beds to be changed during our 2-week holiday, they didn't change them once! I had to go to a maid's kart and change them myself. We didn't have our room cleaned at all, despite asking for this due to my husband being poorly. The floor hasn't been hoovered before we arrived as we found other people's toenails by the side of our bed!! The amount of dust, dirt and soap scum on all surfaces was shocking. One hot day we went down to the pool to realise it was 'closed for maintenance'. I asked reception if there was an alternative to which he replied 'use the hotel down the street' a 10-minute drive away with no offer of paying for our transport. This happened 6 times during our 14-night visit!!! I reported all this to the hotel reception, numerous times. They weren't interested and literally shrugged their shoulders. When I asked for a manager, she was 'busy'. Very convenient! I searched for another hotel to stay in but as you can imagine, the prices were astronomical and having already paid a pretty penny for this holiday I was reluctant. We made the best of a bad hotel room, but I'd hate for anyone else to make the mistake we did! We are a young married couple with no children; thank goodness we only had ourselves to please. It was no place for children. We had a few Uber drivers pick us up and ask if we liked the hotel as they'd heard very bad things about it, that’s very telling isn’t it! The only good thing about this hotel was the location, its close to Universal Studios!

A Disaster from Check-in to Check-out – Avoid at All Costs Rating: 1 / 5 I rarely feel the need to write reviews this negative, but our stay at the Rosen Inn International (7600 International Drive) was nothing short of a nightmare. For a hotel that prides itself on its location, it fails miserably on every basic standard of hospitality and maintenance. 1. The "Money Pit" Laundry Facilities The laundry situation is an absolute scam. I wasted $50 on a single load of washing because the machines simply do not work. They are broken, poorly maintained, and essentially exist just to swallow your cash. 2. Zero Accountability from Management When I brought the laundry issue to the front desk, I was met with complete indifference. I complained numerous times, only to be told it was a "third-party company" and therefore not their problem. As a paying guest, who you contract your services to is your responsibility. Passing the buck while I’m out $50 and still have wet clothes is unacceptable service. 3. The Broken Arcade It’s not just the laundry; the arcade is equally predatory. Multiple machines are broken but still active enough to take your money. It’s a consistent theme here: if there is a way for this hotel to take your money without providing the service, they’ll find it. 4. Room Conditions & Health Concerns The rooms are incredibly outdated, but that’s the least of the worries. We discovered black mold on the ceiling that had clearly just been painted over in a lazy attempt to hide it. This isn't just a maintenance issue; it’s a health hazard. The rooms feel dingy, neglected, and frankly, unsafe. 5. Faulty Room Security Even getting into your room is a chore. The door locks are temperamental and fail half the time. It took several attempts and a lot of frustration every single time we wanted to enter our room. Summary: Our complaints fell on deaf ears every single time. There was zero effort to resolve our issues or offer any form of compensation for the money we lost on their faulty equipment. We will never be returning to this property. Save your money and your sanity—stay somewhere else.
