good location that is walkable to a lot of places to eat and shop. As far as theme parks, might be a little far. Rooms are a bit dated but they're trying. Bathroom shower looks completely new. Flooring inside room is new. Only had 1 working elevator in our building so.. Great for families with young kids as the water park/slides are attached. We had 5 adults in our party. My 1 son slept on pull out couch prob from the 80s. He's young so he's able to recover

We had a great stay here, the staff was very friendly especially Julissa. She helped us get everything we needed and check our bags while we waited. The Waterpark was a lot of fun and even got a workout in at their gym. I recommend this place for anyone especially with family. We were here on a travel volleyball tournament and the while team had a very fun time.

Great overall hotel. We were lucky to have a remodelled room which was very clean and nicely finished. Room came with a handy fridge and microwave but no tools to eat anything with (plates etc), so worth considering if you wish to make full use of those. Only downside was the interconnecting door to adjacent room had no sound proofing and every sound could easily be heard.....not helped by the large gap at the bottom and tiled floor. On several occasions we were woken early and late by noisy neighbours. Please consider this if booking, and also try to keep your own noise down. Also unsure how long some areas will remain in good condition. Some parts outsode such as the black floor of the paths was already showing some signs of wear, and the paint on the bathroom doors could be easily scraped off with your nail after a hot shower. Staff were amazing and any issues quickly resolved, kettle arrived within about 10 minuites after asking for one, hence the 5 star review. Im sure once this is fully refurbished, it can only be better. Also worth noting is the discount you can get on site as a guest of the hotel.

Stay Away – $50 a Night “Resort” Fee for This? Arrived late at night after travel and was hit with a mandatory $150 resort fee at check-in ($50 per night). At that hour there was no option to go elsewhere, so we had to pay it. For a property charging a mandatory resort fee, the room condition was disappointing. The furniture had visible rust, the overall upkeep felt worn and neglected, and nothing about the room reflected anything close to a “resort” experience. It felt like a basic, aging motel room with maintenance issues. If you’re going to charge guests an extra $50 per night on top of the advertised rate, the experience should justify it. This did not. Very frustrating way to start a trip. On day1 our we were welcomed with unclean bathtub. The blinds wont close, absolutely no privacy. And you can hit ever single noise from your neighboring rooms. The power outlets are practically no where usable. Only one that works is behind the dusted tv. My advise for fellow travellers, stay away from this property. There are much better ones in the neighborhood. Dont get deceived by the pictures, they are photoshop enhanced Update: 03/04 As per your response talked to the front desk and provided my reservation details a week back. UNSAFE!!! Stay away from CocoKey Resort in Orlando!!!!!!! I've been traveling for over 22 years with my children's sports and I've never felt so unsafe or grossed out by a lodging facility. Can't say hotel because it's definitely a motel category. My poor teenager said mom I don't feel safe here can we leave. That interior door shown on the video by the restroom doesn't lock and yet it has another door that can access the room we were given. There are approximately 9 buildings in this facility and we were placed in a building with no other occupants and yet they claimed they were at full capacity during check-in; yet when we walked around our building no other souls were around (outside or even in the rooms) and all upstairs and downstairs rooms (2 floor building) had blinds fully open with no one inside the rooms. When we went to the lobby and asked for a supervisor, they claimed no supervisors were in. I told them how unsafe we felt and he didn't apologize. It don't even phase him. He also stated that if we wanted another room we needed to pay more and the money for my 3 night stay wouldn't be returned. Stay alert, stay safe, and stay out of this place!!!!!!!!! Smells horrible, tub doesn’t drain, and opening the front door of this room requires full force!
