Stayed at this resort during our recent visit to Orlando, on the whole it is a nice resort with four swimming pools and complementary transport to Disney and Universal Parks. Staff are friendly and helpful and the outside areas are well maintained. Our apartments did look tired and could do with a make over. Having said that they had everything we needed for our stay

This resort was very comfortable and provided us with what we needed.
We were initially alarmed prior to staying at the resort with some of the negative reviews it had received, but we had no such experiences of those negative issues raised and can only compliment the resort support staff.
There are ample swimming pools, and the rooms were suitably spacious and clean. Housekeeping for us staying longer than seven days was on time and excellently undertaken. There are some facility limitations with respect to games rooms and gymnasium (the latter we did not see), but we spent most of our time off site travelling around Orlando and wider regions, as it has so much to offer outside its world renowned theme parks.

Blue Tree treats it’s owners so poorly. If you are considering staying here, please look elsewhere! They either ignore our concerns altogether or respond with the same response over and over again. They have a complete disregard for our concerns and I believe they don’t even read what I send them prior to sending me a response. We have wanted out of this ownership for years and they have been no help. They refuse accountability because they state they are a “Not for profit Florida Corporation.” For this reason, they don’t care that we were lied to at the point of purchase. They don’t care that we have suffered as a result. The Florida Department Of Business And Professional Regulation Office advised us that most Timeshares offer a deed back program and that we should reach out to Blue Tree to discuss this option. I have mentioned this in my communication attempt with them and their seemingly automated response didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I asked for a deed back. Something must be done. It is unfair to be held to an agreement that Blue Tree fails to uphold. It doesn’t live up to promises made to us but they expect us to keep paying them.

We've been coming to Blue Tree Resort for over 20 years now, and this resort continues to impress & evolve over the years, keeping its 4 pools, tennis court, basketball court, mini golf and other amenities in great shape. The pools (especially pools 1 & 2) were a big hit with our entire family, and we spent many days just hanging by the pools. It's also really nice to have great restaurants & food places that are a super quick & easy walk. (Giordano's, El Patron and Steak 'n Shake are our favorites nearby.)
What's also really great about this resort is its location. You can get to both Disney and Universal without having to go on the traffic-filled Interstate-4. Walt Disney World property is less than a 5-minute drive away, and Universal is an easy drive up Palm Parkway (again, without needing to take the interstate).
The highlight of our recent trip was the security guard on-property, Thomas. He was so personable, genuine and heartfelt. We loved talking with him every time he was making his rounds around the property, and he wants everyone to have a great time. It was a joy to see him.
The rest of the staff on-property was great as well, and there are activities throughout the week that our 9-year old participated in.
The only negative is that some of the rooms are "tired" and need a refresh. The 2-bedroom condo layouts are great. It just needs some new flooring and furniture, which we have been told are in the works for future years.
Certainly there are more resorts around Orlando that are more modern and upscale, but for the incredible location that this resort offers, the friendly staff (like Thomas), the price, and all the amenities that are located on-property, you really can't beat this place.
