I was here to attend a nearby convention and this hotel was booked for me and not my choice. Upon checking into my room in building 7, I was immediately hit with heavy humidity and a moldy smell into the room. I thought maybe it was stale because the AC was turned off due to the cold front. I cranked the AC down to 60 to help with the humidity but despite the unit saying it was 60, it felt like 75+ even after a full day of running. The bedding and carpets were damp to the touch and I could feel myself getting ill while in the room. I stuck it out for a night, but had to prop my door open overnight to get the smallest amount of fresh air, which is not only a health concern, but also a safety concern with the door open since the windows don’t open. I left the bathroom vent on at all times to help with the humidity and smell but that also hardly functioned. Additionally, there was long bright red hair tangled in the shower drain, all over the walls, and on one of the queen beds. There is very little sound barrier between the outside and your room, so when I finally did manage to fall asleep through the humidity and smell, I was woken up by loud guests passing by at all hours of the night. I ended my 4 night stay after one night and booked a new hotel. Several of my colleagues had very similar complaints and also booked new hotels or moved into a less gross room.

We prepaid for our rooms through booking.com. we were not told there would be parking fees and resort fees. Be leaving at the counter kept telling me to tap my card for incidentals. After asking. What are all these charges for then? She explained that there were for a resort fee and parking fees. $75 incidental fee. We had an adjoined room. They charged us $75 for each. When we got into our rooms they smelled extremely musty. One of our guests has a bad allergy to mold and had to sleep in the car. The phone in the room did not work to even go call the front desk and let them know that the water was backing up into our sink and shower. We could not even brush our teeth in the sink with the water on. I had texted with guest services afterward asking how our stay was and let them know that we possibly left a jacket in the room. She told me she would ask housekeeping and immediately told me that housekeeping did not have it. We then proceeded to call the front desk after our stay to see if somebody could go to the room and double check for the jacket. They found the jacket. We went to go pick up the jacket that was told to us. It would be waiting at the front desk, it was not. We waited 40 Minutes for them to go to housekeeping and bring us the jacket. The location is great but I would never recommend staying there.

I would give this hotel one star. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because of the customer service we received after the many issues we encountered during our stay. Specifically, Daniela at the front desk and Agustin, the Director of Rooms, went above and beyond to help resolve our problems. Because of their efforts, I am leaving a two-star review. Unfortunately, our overall stay was horrible. To start, the hotel charges $30 per night for parking, yet if you arrive late, there is no guaranteed parking nearby. If you are staying in the main tower, you may be forced to park extremely far away and walk a long distance. Adding to the inconvenience, the front desk and lobby are not located near the main tower, which meant we had to walk a very long distance back and forth multiple times to address the issues with our room. Our original room had multiple issues. There was no hot water whatsoever, and the room phone did not work at all, making it difficult to contact the front desk. After returning from the parks, we were unable to shower and had to wait overnight and into the morning. Maintenance attempted to fix the hot water issue, but it still did not work, so we were moved to another room. Although I paid for a king-size room, we were placed in a double room instead. We had to walk back to the front desk to correct this, and then we were moved again—this time to a king room on the top floor. When we arrived at the king room on the top floor, the problems continued. The toilet was completely clogged and unusable, and the sink was leaking. No one answered the phone at the front desk when we tried to call for assistance, forcing us to use a public restroom for the entire night until the next day. The only reason this situation was turned around at all was because of Agustin, Daniela, and another manager who assisted us. Their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help truly made a difference. That said, we will not be returning to this hotel. While the customer service from Agustin and Daniela was excellent and greatly appreciated, good customer service alone cannot make up for such a poor overall experience.

The hot tub was not working and broken. This was not advertised on their site and very disappointing considering I booked this place just for that reason. Restaurant and staff were very friendly. Rooms were run down with a lot of issues such as plugged drains, leaky toilets, broken curtains. For a budget resort, not bad. Very close and walkable to Seaworld which was nice. Leaving a 3 start because of the broken hot tub, which is not identified on their website and the pool was pretty chilly. Would have booked another resort had the hot tub issue been identified.

It's a compact resort. Ample parking in the guest area. It's away from the noisy area along I-Drive south. Minus two stars for the desk clerk that wasn't rude, but wasn't hospitable. She didn't explain about $10 daily voucher or other amenities that was supposed to be offered. I was told by these things by Hilton Honors representative. There should be a guest coordinator for check-in parking as there was traffic jam with drop offs and guests failing to understand temporary parking. The rooms were old along with the furniture. The only upgrade was the television and the electrical outlets. The bathroom is very small, however the water pressure and temperature were good enough. The small refrigerator and microwave are hidden in the armoire. The HVAC system works. The main door has been reinforced to prevent break-ins, however there is enough space at the bottom of the door that would allow insects into the room.
