I stayed here for one night only for a conference held nearby so I did not have much time to experience much of the hotel. Overall, the room was fine and the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating.
It was great to have a made-to-order omelet for breakfast (complimentary breakfast buffet) instead of the rolls and coffee offered by the conference. Though I would recommend going earlier. I was there at 6:30 and had most of the place to myself. By the time my colleague joined me at 7, the line for the made to order items was too long for her.
Biggest drawback to the place was the check in process, as specifically parking. I tried to use the app to go straight to my room but that wouldn't work. There was absolutely no parking anywhere for the lobby. I finally went in to the guest parking area thanks to an accommodating service attendant, parked, and then put the parking pass in the window after I had checked in.
I've added pictures of the room. I got a kick out of the placement of the microwave in one of the night stands. Though I imagine it would be difficult for some to access easily.

We loved this property. Very clean! Well kept. Everyone who worked there was always busy and very kind. The breakfast was good! We brought our dog and he was treated with respect. There was plenty of space to walk around with our dog on the property without him, myself, or others being uncomfortable and the hotel was VERY busy. The pools were clean but there was one lose piece of concrete in the "family fun pool" next to the fountains were the kids like to play..should be fixed.
10/10 would recommend.

First time using a DoubleTree. My daughter had an event in Orlando for school and they used this property. Our room was nice in size however there were quite few issues.
1. Coffee station in room was not adequately stacked no sugar, no stirs
2. The room although big felt dated and muggy
3. The water in shower smells like rotten sewers. The bathroom vanity was full soap scums, stains on walls looked like dry blood
4. The sheets made me itchy and gave me a rash, when I brought it to the attention of customer service they seem to not really care
5 on our last day there we started seeing bugs looked like a tick coming from the balcony door
6. This is a pet friendly property which great for pet owners however the lack of cleaning makes it hard for people with allergies
7. When we reporter our issues the hotel literally did absolutely nothing about it
I would not stay here or recommend anyone who is “clean” to stay here. Even when you shower you feel dirty
Look closely at the photo of the carpet there was bugs

WOW!! This is an extremely nice hotel. The service was unmatched. The rooms were big and clean. OMG!!!! The layout and scenery is amazing!!! The water scenery is beautiful. Breakfast was great!!!! This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in in a very long time. YOU MUST GO AND EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE. I stayed for 4 days and I did not have to leave to property for anything!!!

My wife and I were staying here on our anniversary. We reserved a King Deluxe room with a wet bar. Online the room looked very nice. When I went to the lobby to check in I was impressed with how nice it was. That's where it all ended. They gave me my room key and directions to the room. The reservation did not mention the $30 a night parking. While walking to our room we knew something was wrong, it was an outside entrance and dirty, stunk like beer and looked like a Motel 6. When we opened the door we found a plain resort room with queen beds. The room stunk like mold, the carpets were dirty, the shower was still wet. I went to the front desk and the lady was very apologetic and found us a king resort room in the tower. She said it is a reduced rate and she was waiving the resort fee for the inconvenience. That room was nicer but just a regular king room. The outlet in the bathroom did not work so my wife had to use an extension chord to use the hair dryer and curling iron. The sink barely drained as well. The staff was made aware of both issues but nothing was done about either for 3 days. When I got the bill the resort fees were not waived and I was charged for the Deluxe room. I was told later that the resort tower room was an upgrade from the Deluxe King room in the old dirty part of the hotel so the rates were the same. This hotel is a complete scam, what they show you online is not what they give you total bait and switch. The outside part looks like it hasn't been updated in 30 years. It was the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered and I've been all over the US and the world. Avoid this place like the plague.
