DO NOT STAY HERE! We checked in at 8:25pm and checked out the same day at 8:40pm and booked at The Hilton (which was way better). I usually love double tree hotels but this one is filthy! We left so fast because we saw a roach in our room. Not to mention how filthy the carpet was and mold on the walls! When I checked out I was told I would receive a refund but since I booked thru Priceline they need to contact them. The manager Emily, said she will approve it. But when Priceline called they spoke to Fernando and he said no. He will not approve my refund. This has been such an inconvenience and terrible experience trying to get my money back for a place I didn't even stay at! Only thing that was good were the young ladies working at the front desk. They were kind. But Fernando is being difficult. I also received a receipt 4 days AFTER I checked out charging me for parking when I wasn't even there!!

The hotel looks beautiful at first glance. The Christmas decorations were lovely and well done, and the common areas give a strong first impression. Unfortunately, the room experience did not match that standard at all. We stayed here because we had a commitment nearby and brought our daughter with us for her birthday. She stayed at this hotel for two nights while my husband and I stayed at another hotel just 5–7 minutes away. The room she stayed in (14th floor) had a very strong, persistent odor, similar to damp or moldy fabric, like wet clothes left for too long. The smell was overwhelming and noticeable immediately upon entering the room. I am highly sensitive to allergies, and the reaction was instant. I experienced allergy symptoms and asthma-like breathing issues right away. The odor seemed likely related to either the carpet or the air conditioning system, but regardless of the source, it made the room extremely uncomfortable and unhealthy for someone with sensitivities. This was especially disappointing because the hotel itself appears well maintained in public areas, which makes the room condition even more surprising. A hotel can be visually appealing, but clean air and room conditions are not optional. That alone determines whether a stay is acceptable or not. I hope management takes this seriously, because this is not what guests expect from the Hilton brand.

First impressions are everything and we really thought we’d be staying at 4 star hotel as listed but it’s far from that. Previously we were staying at one of universals hotels and we needed to find a place to stay the last 3 nights of our trip. Don’t be fooled by the lobby looking very nice or the fact it’s called “Hilton at seaworld”. I thought we were at a motel when we found our room. We were located in building 5 and we went to park. As we walked to the room the beautiful odor of urine filled the entrance to the building all the way up until we made it to the room. It smelled like someone had peed in front of our door, as we entered the smell was so stuffy and awful I looked at my bf and immediately asked him if he smelled that odor. It was a very musty odor and the room was very outdated. I honestly knew I couldn’t stay at this hotel, I was disgusted already. So I called and they offered to clean but after I sat and thought about what we were experiencing I called back the guest service and let them know there was no way we could stay there and we wanted to get a refund and leave because at that point I didn’t even want another room, I told my bf we will go somewhere else, mind you it was already like 8pm when we got there. We didn’t waste any time getting out of there, I saw people outside of the room playing some golf or whatever it was there but idk how someone would be satisfied staying there, the amount of people checking in must’ve had no idea what they were about to receive. I will say the lady at the front desk was very understanding and shocked herself when we mentioned being greeted with the smell of urine and she tried to offer another room but I honestly needed my bf to get his money back. We ended up staying at a different hotel with a much better experience that felt more “high quality”. I did have to speak with someone again because he still got charged when we never stayed on property and the guy was helpful and initiated the refund again so we are waiting for that now. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay please find something else unless you want to feel like you’re in a smelly motel. No chocolate chip cookie is gonna make us stay, we didn’t even eat them. The only good thing I can say was the bed was made and looked somewhat clean but all I did was sit on it to make a phone call and they had Netflix.

We prepaid for our rooms through booking.com. we were not told there would be parking fees and resort fees. Be leaving at the counter kept telling me to tap my card for incidentals. After asking. What are all these charges for then? She explained that there were for a resort fee and parking fees. $75 incidental fee. We had an adjoined room. They charged us $75 for each. When we got into our rooms they smelled extremely musty. One of our guests has a bad allergy to mold and had to sleep in the car. The phone in the room did not work to even go call the front desk and let them know that the water was backing up into our sink and shower. We could not even brush our teeth in the sink with the water on. I had texted with guest services afterward asking how our stay was and let them know that we possibly left a jacket in the room. She told me she would ask housekeeping and immediately told me that housekeeping did not have it. We then proceeded to call the front desk after our stay to see if somebody could go to the room and double check for the jacket. They found the jacket. We went to go pick up the jacket that was told to us. It would be waiting at the front desk, it was not. We waited 40 Minutes for them to go to housekeeping and bring us the jacket. The location is great but I would never recommend staying there.

I would give this hotel one star. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because of the customer service we received after the many issues we encountered during our stay. Specifically, Daniela at the front desk and Agustin, the Director of Rooms, went above and beyond to help resolve our problems. Because of their efforts, I am leaving a two-star review. Unfortunately, our overall stay was horrible. To start, the hotel charges $30 per night for parking, yet if you arrive late, there is no guaranteed parking nearby. If you are staying in the main tower, you may be forced to park extremely far away and walk a long distance. Adding to the inconvenience, the front desk and lobby are not located near the main tower, which meant we had to walk a very long distance back and forth multiple times to address the issues with our room. Our original room had multiple issues. There was no hot water whatsoever, and the room phone did not work at all, making it difficult to contact the front desk. After returning from the parks, we were unable to shower and had to wait overnight and into the morning. Maintenance attempted to fix the hot water issue, but it still did not work, so we were moved to another room. Although I paid for a king-size room, we were placed in a double room instead. We had to walk back to the front desk to correct this, and then we were moved again—this time to a king room on the top floor. When we arrived at the king room on the top floor, the problems continued. The toilet was completely clogged and unusable, and the sink was leaking. No one answered the phone at the front desk when we tried to call for assistance, forcing us to use a public restroom for the entire night until the next day. The only reason this situation was turned around at all was because of Agustin, Daniela, and another manager who assisted us. Their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help truly made a difference. That said, we will not be returning to this hotel. While the customer service from Agustin and Daniela was excellent and greatly appreciated, good customer service alone cannot make up for such a poor overall experience.
