Hotel was good, nice rooms that were cleaned well. Physical appearance of room and hotel was great. Location was good. The biggest complaint was actually the service. Depending on who was at the front desk, the price for parking would change and the front desk staff were overall very unhelpful for our stay. Was told $38/day for parking, then told it was $30/day if I pre-paid with the room and then I was told it was free if I used my hotel key. The service just felt super shady and it really just felt like they tried to charge you extra and tried to do what they could to get more money out of you. I was also told that there would be a $75 deposit for the room that would get returned at the end of my stay, which was not a problem. Well then, it turned out that it actually was $75/night as a deposit. It just felt so non-transparent and very greedy. Specifically booked this because it was Hilton and "breakfast and parking was included" and since the price was higher per night and since it was Hilton, I was confident we would get the service stated on their website. I was very wrong, and I have been a true believer in both Hilton/Hampton for over 10 years, but after an experience like this I feel like they are just out to get more money out of you and their service has significantly gotten worse over the last 10 years. Will definitely stay somewhere else in the future.

I stayed at the DoubleTree for 5 nights while attending a conference, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the start. When we arrived, the room immediately felt off. It was damp, musty, and with a moldy smell. I should have trusted my gut and left. The hot tub was supposedly “down for maintenance,” yet it was still full of water with only a small amount of caution tape around it, which felt suspicious. The pool itself was visibly dirty and clearly needed to be vacuumed. I only put my feet in because I didn’t feel comfortable using it. It seemed like the hot tub may have been closed simply to avoid maintaining it. The shower drain in my room was clogged, causing water to back up and creating an unpleasant smell throughout the room. I reported this on the first day and was told it would be fixed while we were out, but nothing changed. Based on the condition, it honestly felt like the showers were not being properly cleaned at all. I was also told that a maintenance worker needed to come turn on the fire pits by the veranda. I asked for help with this every single day — calling multiple times and stopping by the front desk repeatedly. No one ever came. At one point, I was left on hold for over 10 minutes while they supposedly tried to find out what was going on. The staff were polite, but it became clear they were telling me whatever sounded nice in the moment, with no intention of actually following through. This was my first time attending an annual conference in this area, and I do plan on returning in the future… just never to this hotel. For the price and brand, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and follow-through on basic service was unacceptable.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I want to highlight on an employee who stood out the most to me, my friends and family. Rascheed Ferguson went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel like family! He made sure everything was set and we were comfortable, plus had everything we needed! I’ve been to many hotels in the past and haven’t had such a warming experience in a long time. Rascheed not only made our experience pleasant but, made every dollar spent worth it! I will be coming back. Thank you Rascheed!

DO NOT STAY HERE! I can't believe Hilton claims this property. This was my second stay at this property, and unfortunately it did not improve my impression. Despite checking in online and selecting my room in advance, I was assigned the wrong room type at arrival. Additionally, the hotel does not appear to appropriately honor rewards members. Parking is expensive, especially considering the poor condition of the parking lot. The room itself had several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The water had an unpleasant odor and came out black at one point, the curtains were visibly dirty, and the floor was wet upon arrival. Hot water did not remain hot for long, and there was noticeable dust buildup throughout the room, suggesting inadequate housekeeping standards. While checking in, another guest mentioned finding roaches in their room. The staff responded that housekeeping would clean the room again and stated that roaches were normal for the resort. Hearing that was concerning and told me all I needed to know. The bar area was not outdated like the rooms, but the service there was subpar. However, the restaurant was nice, the food was good, and the service in the restaurant was enjoyable. I did not use the pool, so I cannot comment on that amenity. Overall, while the staff was generally friendly, they seemed largely complacent and accustomed to hearing the same complaints repeatedly rather than addressing them meaningfully.

I am only giving 4 stars overall due to the hot tub not working & the only available parking is $38 per night, which is a bit pricey, but competitive for the area (SeaWorld). Excellent & friendly customer service. Quick check-in/check-out. Food was delicious. The cookies are the icing on the proverbial cake! Room was clean & good size. I'll definitely be staying again when I'm planning a stay cation.
