First staff at the welcome desk was not very welcoming. To get in our room, we had to press down as hard as possible for the door to open. The beds were comfortable and the TV worked. The charging port on nightstand did not work. Thankfully I had a power bank and regular plugs with me. Every day I found cockroaches and/or Japanese beetles flying in the room. Sent them outside each night. It's a quiet location in the middle of everything tourists could need or want so location was good. They were under construction so views weren't that good. Rooms are very small. But I'm also used to Homewood suites by Hilton. It was good enough for us to crash each night after a very long day.

Budget, no frills hotel. Beds are big and comfy. The rooms are not luxurious but functional. Large Samsung TV, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, good AC. Plentiful free parking. Decent pools with loungers and towels. If you want luxury it's probably not for you but I was more than happy with my stay here.

This isn't the nicest hotel you can stay at if you need proximity to the convention center, but it's inexpensive and still close enough to walk there. The people who work there, especially in the buffet, were so nice. Plus the food was pretty good for a buffet. And I noticed there were lots of families and a few pools, so a good place to stay with kids.

The Golden Armor
Room 2102, stayed for road trips. The room is very nice, clean, a/c works, TV works, microwave, refrigerator worked, and has personal metal safe on nightstand between beds. Miracle, all of light fixtures worked because most hotels we stayed at, barely worked. They also has play grounds, game arcades and breakfast. Honestly I am very impressed how well the hotels is being maintained. Also we were surprised to see the chair is well great conditions since most of hotels the chairs would be probably from dumpster/GoodWill.

If you're on a budget, this is a great hotel!! It's perfectly located half way down International Drive , opposite POINTE ORLANDO, which is full of restaurants, a cinema complex , shops etc.. There is a lot to do in this area .. ICON PARK is also only a 5 min walk.. The 3 pools are kept lovely and clean , there's a hotel shop for your needs ..snacks , beer etc.. a gift shop selling Disney merch etc.. and a hotel restaurant! The rooms are spacious, clean and lots of storage. House keeping is daily if you need it and the staff are lovely! The I ride trolley bus stop is right outside the gate too! Perfect!!
