I’ve Stayed Here 2 of my Vacation Trips and it’s always awesome!! I was there for 5 days the second time and Everything was good. It’s like a 5 star hotel!! Very quiet, beautiful view, close to the international drive walk, near shops and restaurants, near theme parks, etc….The Manager was welcoming and the guess services was A+. The deli staff was awesome, Rooms are clean and comfy, housekeepers are so kind and Friendly. Overall. I love it and would definitely go back.

Rooms nice and spacious and clean. I had an issue with my room and the staff were great helping me move to a different room. Convenient location. Used the free shuttle bus to universal a few times and it was really handy and easy to book a space on. It was a bit overly busy coming back from the parks but could have walked back

As a regular visitor, myself and my daughter spent plenty of holidays at this hotel. Amazing value! Yes, it’s basic but has all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay. Beds are super comfortable and spotless which is a big thing for me!! The gardens and 2 pool areas are very well kept. Lovely bar on site too with a great happy hour and the bar food is gorgeous. Didn’t try the on-site restaurant, but very handy for breakfast and dinner. Staff are excellent. The cleaners especially who are so nice and chatty. We got to know some of them really well because of our regular visits and they all spoke highly of the Rosen and took pride in their job! PS. If you’re stuck for extra towels or toilet paper. Just ask them, there always around with their trolleys.. Location is excellent, plenty of bars & restaurants in walking distance and access to public transport right outside.. super Walmart 5 mins drive away,$6 in a cab. Kids will also love it here with the great pools that open late and there’s a playground also. Arcade games too… lovely family feel… Can’t wait to return in 3 weeks, our second home ❤️

I have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years and have always enjoyed my stays. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The overall standards have dropped significantly—closer to a Super 8–level motel than what this property used to be. The pool was not heated at all during our stay, despite staff insisting that it was. It felt like an ice bath. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I have ever experienced, constantly crashing and barely usable. The hotel now has many stray cats roaming the property, along with a noticeable increase in bugs. While none were in my room, a family member did experience bugs in theirs. On top of this, the hotel now charges $10 per day for parking, which was disappointing given the condition of the grounds. The property is dirty and poorly maintained compared to past years. The only bright spot was the room service cleaners, who were absolutely fantastic—friendly, thorough, and professional. Upon checkout, I made the front desk staff aware of my concerns. They seemed uninterested, showed no concern, and simply told me to “have a good day,” which was extremely disappointing after over two decades of loyalty. If I could give no stars I would! This place was horrible to stay in. It was noisy, dirty, unkempt, unprofessional and germ ridden. Despite asking 5 times for our beds to be changed during our 2-week holiday, they didn't change them once! I had to go to a maid's kart and change them myself. We didn't have our room cleaned at all, despite asking for this due to my husband being poorly. The floor hasn't been hoovered before we arrived as we found other people's toenails by the side of our bed!! The amount of dust, dirt and soap scum on all surfaces was shocking. One hot day we went down to the pool to realise it was 'closed for maintenance'. I asked reception if there was an alternative to which he replied 'use the hotel down the street' a 10-minute drive away with no offer of paying for our transport. This happened 6 times during our 14-night visit!!! I reported all this to the hotel reception, numerous times. They weren't interested and literally shrugged their shoulders. When I asked for a manager, she was 'busy'. Very convenient! I searched for another hotel to stay in but as you can imagine, the prices were astronomical and having already paid a pretty penny for this holiday I was reluctant. We made the best of a bad hotel room, but I'd hate for anyone else to make the mistake we did! We are a young married couple with no children; thank goodness we only had ourselves to please. It was no place for children. We had a few Uber drivers pick us up and ask if we liked the hotel as they'd heard very bad things about it, that’s very telling isn’t it! The only good thing about this hotel was the location, its close to Universal Studios!
