I’ve Stayed Here 2 of my Vacation Trips and it’s always awesome!! I was there for 5 days the second time and Everything was good. It’s like a 5 star hotel!! Very quiet, beautiful view, close to the international drive walk, near shops and restaurants, near theme parks, etc….The Manager was welcoming and the guess services was A+. The deli staff was awesome, Rooms are clean and comfy, housekeepers are so kind and Friendly. Overall. I love it and would definitely go back.

I hate to say but this place is a disaster. It does have perks, the location was great. We didnt have to drive more than 10 minutes to any place we went. The front desk attendants were sweet and had smiles no matter the issues they faced. The rooms had issues with cleanliness, safety, and comfort. We were put in the wrong room first, two small beds instead of a king. Then they changed us to a room that was not clean and had a bug in it. Then we changed to another room, the toilet was dirty but at this point we were exhausted from travels and just wanted to sleep so I cleaned it with some Clorox wipes and we called it a night. The next day they changed us to get another room, but they put us with two small beds and not a king yet again- this room was dirty, smelled of smoke and mildew and we just told them we would keep the room we stayed in the night prior. The sink didn’t drain, the shower had black mold, the mirror was dirty as if there was dried toothpaste sprayed over it, they had plumbing issues, and the furniture had water damage(not sure how) and the bed was broken. The entire window shakes because it wasn’t secured to the frame(I do have a video evidence). The door didn’t lock with the “safety lock” so we had to push the chair against the door for security.(also have video evidence but google doesn’t post videos sadly) it is also very very loud if you have neighbors. All we did here was shower and sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal, but definitely something that needs to be warned if someone is looking for a place to enjoy a vacation. Also upon check in they offer you a “welcome” gift and the people are SO pushy about the timeshare they don’t take no for an answer. I had to tell them no at least 6 times and the last no I had to start walking away as I was saying it because they kept saying “but what if we do this” it was 9pm and I was exhausted.

Rooms nice and spacious and clean. I had an issue with my room and the staff were great helping me move to a different room. Convenient location. Used the free shuttle bus to universal a few times and it was really handy and easy to book a space on. It was a bit overly busy coming back from the parks but could have walked back

I have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years and have always enjoyed my stays. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The overall standards have dropped significantly—closer to a Super 8–level motel than what this property used to be. The pool was not heated at all during our stay, despite staff insisting that it was. It felt like an ice bath. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I have ever experienced, constantly crashing and barely usable. The hotel now has many stray cats roaming the property, along with a noticeable increase in bugs. While none were in my room, a family member did experience bugs in theirs. On top of this, the hotel now charges $10 per day for parking, which was disappointing given the condition of the grounds. The property is dirty and poorly maintained compared to past years. The only bright spot was the room service cleaners, who were absolutely fantastic—friendly, thorough, and professional. Upon checkout, I made the front desk staff aware of my concerns. They seemed uninterested, showed no concern, and simply told me to “have a good day,” which was extremely disappointing after over two decades of loyalty. Rosen Hotel – 6327 International Drive, Orlando We arrived around 10:00 PM. Check-in was initially pleasant thanks to one front desk associate. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill after that. The room was nothing like the photos online—very outdated, with an overwhelming odor coming from the carpet. After unpacking around 10:30 PM, we noticed the refrigerator was not cooling at all. We adjusted settings and left briefly to grab food before nearby restaurants closed. When we returned around midnight, the refrigerator still wasn’t working. We contacted the front desk to request maintenance. Instead of maintenance, security arrived at our door, knocking aggressively, immediately confrontational and rude, without greeting or explanation. The tone felt unnecessary and hostile, especially given the situation was a simple maintenance issue. Shortly after, the front desk called the room in an elevated, aggressive tone, insisting that I personally come downstairs, even though my wife had gone first specifically to avoid further confrontation, as the staff had already been rude and dismissive. When I went downstairs, the front desk agent was openly hostile, speaking in a raised voice, giving intense, angry looks, and treating the situation as if we had done something wrong. There was no apology, no attempt to de-escalate, and no customer service professionalism whatsoever. When we asked for a manager, we were told she was the manager. Requests to simply replace the refrigerator were refused. An upgrade for the inconvenience was denied. The entire interaction felt intimidating, accusatory, and unnecessarily aggressive. To make matters worse, the refrigerator in the second room did not work either. Between misleading photos, outdated and smelly rooms, broken amenities, and staff behavior that felt hostile and confrontational rather than service-oriented, this hotel was extremely disappointing. We are now seeking a refund and leaving. This felt like a tourist trap that prioritizes control over customer care. I strongly recommend choosing a hotel that values professionalism, respect, and guest safety.
