I booked this hotel for one evening. We checked and went to our room, and we found that the room was not as we expected. There was an unpleasant smell that immediately hit us. The room was not as clean as we expect from a hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, and that's okay; they can be made up for by cleanliness, but that was lacking. We found that the walls near the window were dirty, and the room had not been deep cleaned in quite some time. We looked at the bed and were happy to see that the bedding did look clean. However, we did not feel comfortable staying there and checked out about an hour after checking in. The hotel staff was very nice, and the front desk assistant didn't question why we were leaving. She did issue us a refund through the third-party site on which we booked. We were happy with the staff; however, the rooms need to be better cleaned beyond the daily housekeeping. In the short time we were there, the noise from outside was noticeable; however, that was just another guest, and it was daytime. I cannot speak to what it is like at night. This hotel needs some work, but for the price, you may find this suite fits our budget well.

One and done. I hated everything about this hotel and don't understand the glowing reviews. Right of the bat, they make you listen to a vacation club sales pitch when you check in. And when you decline, the lady gets snippy. The room smelled awful, musty and mildewy. Possibly because of the old raggedy carpeting. I was worried about bed bugs every second I was in the room. The beds were not comfortable, the room was hot, right next to a busy road under construction. The bathroom was fine. The next day, after we checked out, my son noticed that he forgot his gold chain and Ray Ban sunglasses in the room and when he called the hotel they were less than helpful. He had to file some sort of claim through a different website and the phone number listed was disconnected. Calling back and speaking to someone else, nobody has found or rather returned the listing items. Go figure.

Great location on International Drive. Easy to walk to Universal from here, but there is a hotel shuttle at set times or lynx bus stops right outside hotel and goes all the way to Universal. Rooms are dated, but very clean. Couple of minor room issues were dealt with very promptly. Microwave and fridge a huge bonus. All members of staff that we met were friendly and helpful. No resort fees or parking charges. Hotel grounds were very well maintained. Great value for money, would not hesitate to recommend.

They can clean the elevators, the elevator floors, and buttons. At least give the impression that the room will be clean. The room felt half clean it was hair in that was not ours in the bathroom in very obvious places. But the location is good and room rates are great if you are on a budget.

I sit in a freezing cold room as I type this review. Just came back from celebrating my church 10 year anniversary. I got in the room at 1:30 am, turned on the heat and nothing but cold air comes out. Let's be clear this is my second room in my 2/4 day stay. The first room was a mess (I have video as proof), left over dog food, hair under the sheets of both beds, stains on the bedding, and oh yea horrible customer service from Lenny the night manager who is beyond unwelcoming. I really enjoyed standing in line for 30 minutes as her and another young lady tired to assist a customer who left to go to another hotel. I was so sad and uncomfortable I email Mr. Rosen right then and there. Granted the place is dated, I believe cleanliness should not be last on the list. I mean the darn remote was dusty and dirty. Granted I clean and sanitize everything but this is unacceptable. The only good thing in my opinion is Monique (day manager). When I say she exudes quality customer service, communication and customer satisfaction will be an understatement. Come to this hotel if you like mediocre service and clean rooms, I mean I'm nervous to ask for a heater because Lenny makes me feel so uncomfortable to even ask for anything. Trust me there's a lot more but I don't want to come off mean or bashing the place. I just have a higher quality of cleanliness, customer service, and hotel stay. I literally feel icky and itchy, BIG NO for me. Ps... Monique does make this place better. She needs to work for a higher quality establishment in my opinion. UPDATE! I gathered the balls to ask Lenny for an electric heater, she said "no" offered no other option.... SMH
