The hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see and locations to visit. The rooms were all nicely finished with huge comfy beds and nice big sofa. The views from the rooms were nothing to write home about. The lobby areas was always busy, with a few decent shops and bars. The lifts were never more than a minute away. The staff were always helpful and very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfasts in Herb's Kitchen was always good, the quality of the product shone though and again the staff in here were great, always happy to see you and help you out with another cup of coffee or what ever you required.

Great location. Clean room. Quite roomy. We were up on the 30th floor. However there is no breakfast included nor available in the lobby cafe. We had to walk around the neighborhood eventually to Central Park in order to find a sit down restaurant. Furthermore, a luggage costs $5.- to store in the hotel. Is this normal in NYC hotels?

A great hotel. The only problem was the elevators, but otherwise it was a great experience. The hotel staff are so friendly and I'm glad that I stayed here. Truly a 5 star experience in Manhattan. The hotel food is a bit pricey, but the hotels weren't that expensive, and a great view, so it's worth the price.
I was a delegate for the MUN competition, and the experience is something I will remember for my whole life. For the most part the American kids were friendly and not loud, it was some international kids who were kinda loud and annoying to the guests. It was a great experience, and I'm glad the Hilton hosted the biggest MUN conference in the world.

I recently was able to stay here for a special trip to NYC, and I was very happy to stay here instead of other hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are amazing, and you can't forget the amazing NYC views that the rooms come with! This hotel is perfect for people who are traveling on a budget too. The hotel location was simply perfect, within walking distance to subway stations, restaurants, shopping, and more. It is also very close to central park, which is an amazing place for a morning walk and beat the crowds! I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

The rooms are fine, just somewhat dated. The people were overall friendly, but every staff member seemed stressed out. My biggest issue here was that everything was a wait. The elevators from about 8 AM until midday were slammed to the point where you would have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to find one that wasn’t full. The front desk check in/out line was easily 30 minutes wait, and despite this there were only 2 staff at the check-in desk, operating pretty slowly. Check your bag? Another 30 minute wait with staff moving glacial speed. Lastly, while you’re waiting to do anything, the seating in the lobby sucks, and most of the seating near the bar and restaurants is roped off for most of the day, so there’s a slew of people sitting on floors standing around. Definitely not a four star hotel experience and definitely not worth the price.
