We stayed here on a Day Pass. 9am-6pm. Great breakfast options. Great service at the buffet restaurant. Amazing beach and beach bar. Quiet pool in the afternoon with separate kids area. Lots of shady areas to relax. Good drinks at beach bar and pool bar. Cafe with great service and selection of coffees hot and cold and snacks. Would definitely go back.

This hotel was amazing. I loved most the food and the customer service. The staff was amazing and attentive. I love to give a special thanks to Nancy the person in charge of the food at the hotel she does an amazing job, also to Juan a server at the el colonial. He went out of his way to make sure my husband got the dessert he wanted even though it was not on the menu. The beach was nice and clean. I love the Dominican night it was a great entertainment night with a lot of positive energy. My only complaint is the room. I paid for a 2 connecting family for 6 and they had 2 small beds on the side of the regular beds for my boys which blocks the doors that gives access to one room to the other without going outside. When I bool that was not what the description said or what I paid for. Also the one room with the 2 queen beds were actually full size beds. This was a great experience overall

Second time here. This hotel has the best beach we have seen - turquoise water, no waves, beautiful sand. The grounds are lush and beautiful, the food and drinks are plentiful. Great spot for family vacation, I know we will be back.

Worse experience we got staying in Iberostar here in Dominican La Hacienda Among all other Iberostar Hotels in different destinations. Dirty, awful and not fresh with worms inside food… the only thing was great is the beach. Other than that, don’t waste your time. The staff is rude, we had a breakfast close to 11 am which is closing time, and the staff just literally took a the food and cutlery from our hands to clean the table and get us out of the restaurant. Never seen such a rudeness. We were already finishing and another 3 mins would change anything to her, besides the fact there were a few more people still eating. Very poor quality hotel with poor amenities, rudeness, no basic English to communicate such as “hot water and no ice”…. Food is recycled from morning to dinner, with a few additional options…. No refills when the dish is empty, very unclean, especially in the eating and sitting areas. Cutlery are dirty, chairs are oil stained. Worse place for such a money value. Would leave more reviews on different places.
