Unfortunately, our experience at Impressive Punta Cana was far from enjoyable. The only highlight worth mentioning was the bartender at the Premium Lobby Bar, who provided excellent service. Beyond that, the hotel offered very little to feel good about. Cleanliness was lacking from the start, and we encountered an alarming list of basic shortages during just three days: no ice, no plates, no fries, no salt. The alcoholic beverages were of extremely poor quality—barely drinkable. Most concerning, however, was the staff’s behavior. We found them to be aggressive and disrespectful, and in most cases, you could only get what you needed if you offered money discreetly. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope this review helps others avoid a disappointing experience. To add to the problems, the beach was covered in sargassum and the smell of rot made the overall atmosphere even worse—though that part is more a natural issue. Luckily, we were with friends and managed to enjoy ourselves by laughing at how bad the hotel was. Best regards.

A clean resort set in beautiful grounds with lush vegetation. The rooms were clean and spacious with a mini bar and open wardrobe. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Lost one star as maintenance slow waited 4 days for TV to be repaired , then we had to leave. Location is in Punta Cana which is quite far from main attractions. Overall we had a great time. ❤️

Horrible Experience – Do Not Stay Here. Worst money I have ever spent was coming to this hotel. I recently stayed at Impressive Punta Cana Resort, and I can confidently say this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Everything about this property is a complete disaster. First off, the staff is incredibly rude and totally unhelpful. Instead of assisting guests, most of them seem more focused on aggressively pushing travel packages. It felt more like being harassed than helped. I had reserved a jacuzzi room with a tropical view, and the room I was given looked nothing like the photos online. No view, no jacuzzi, and no effort from the hotel to resolve it. I asked to speak with a manager — he never showed up. No follow-up, no apology, nothing. The food is absolute garbage — low-quality, cold, and repetitive. I’ve had better meals in school cafeterias. The buffet was a total letdown, and the restaurants were somehow even worse. As for the rooms, they’re worn down, poorly cleaned, and completely uninspiring. The A/C barely worked, the bathroom smelled musty, and the overall feel was far from “impressive.” This place is a scam wrapped in palm trees. I would never stay here again, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere unless you’re looking to be disappointed at every turn.

Everything about this place was amazing! The ratings online are rather harsh and I don’t understand why, opinions vary. The buffet was just okay, but what kept me going back to the buffet instead of the premium buffet was the staff. Every morning, my waitress treated/greeted us like family. My room was beyond fabulous and included a jacuzzi. It was in the perfect spot on the property because I could exit my villa and turn left and there’s the beach! Go right, and there’s the pool! The premium pool was a short walk around the corner!

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to speak up about this experience. The customer service at this resort is very poor, especially in the dining area. The staff are rude, and their body language shows they clearly don’t want to be there or appreciate us being here. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes and never received my drinks. Meanwhile, someone who came after me was served and left before I even got acknowledged — seriously? If you don’t speak Spanish, be warned: they do not make any effort to accommodate English-speaking guests. The food? A complete disappointment. Every time I ate at the resort, I ended up in the washroom. Also, The beach is also not what was advertised. The water by the shore is brown and murky — you have to go far out to find the blue water shown in the pictures when we booked, plus you have to pay... The rooms are outdated for the price you pay. We booked a regular stay, but everything felt mixed up. Regular and Premium guests are all over the same areas, so it’s confusing — then they suddenly tell you something is Premium-only and turn you away. It creates a frustrating and unwelcoming experience I won’t be coming back and I would not recommend it to anyone..
