The first thing i noticed was 5 mins after being in the room with my shoes off, my feet were black. I could feel how filthy the floor was, that kind if made me feel weird from the start. We arrived at around 5pm and were told we need to make reservations for the restaurants through the qr code. All the restaurants were booked out for the first 3 days of our trip which meant we had to eat at the buffet; breakfast lunch and dinner for that time. The food was terrible at the buffet. The first 2 restaurants we tried were quite average/ not very good (mexican and tapas) However the italian was amazing, had some very good options. The last restaurant we went to was ‘on the grill’ my partner ordered medium and i ordered medium rare and both steaks were rare. Good flavour tho. The alcohol was alright, they always put a lot of alcohol in the drinks, however the alcohol was bad quality. The tequila, vodka and gin all tasted the same. If you can get a good deal and you dont care about good food, i would recommend. The activities they had were so much fun, The rooms are nice, the beach is beautiful the workers are so nice. DONT BUY EXCURSIONS ONLINE: They have many people in reception that work for these different excursion companies and you can get a much cheaper price through them especially if you buy 2 or 3 from the same person.

Our stay at the Impressive Premium Resort & Spa was truly memorable and made our honeymoon extra special! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and eager to help — even those who spoke less English went out of their way to assist us with directions and anything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a beautiful beach-facing room. The variety of food options and daily activities was excellent, and the shows each night were definitely worth both the time and money. The drinks at the Premium Beach were fantastic, and the bartenders were amazing with a bit of swagger to their service which added personality. Special recognition to the kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams — you can tell they take real pride in their work. A very special thank-you to our butler, Jose Tema, who checked in with us daily to ensure we were enjoying our honeymoon and continuously offered ways to make it even better. Jose and the team went above and beyond by decorating our room and turning it into a truly special occasion. That kind of world-class service is something we’ll never forget. We’d also like to mention Luis Vega, our destination service representative, who clearly explained the transportation process to ensure we didn't miss our flight and gave us great advice to make the most of our trip. While the resort was undergoing some construction during our stay, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. It’s an amazing place to visit, and we loved all the different restaurant options that they had, enough for us to try a different style of restaurant each night. I’d highly recommend this resort to anyone — especially if you’re lucky enough to have Jose as your butler!. An amazingly friendly guy who was very humble to his core.

What a lovely resort, we have been here for 4 days so far and I’m from the UK so might differ my opinion compared to other American reviews. The pools are great, warm and they have activities in the pool to keep you entertained during the day. Though the floor is very crumbly and paint chipped everywhere but doesn’t ruin the overall experience of the pool. The beach is stunning that the hotel owns, like a little paradise there’s a bar on the beach as well just before you go onto it. All the drinks are exceptional for an all inclusive hotel (I’ve stayed in all inclusive and they’ve always been really crappy) but these ones are nice, they do slushy pina coladas and daiquiris and whole menu of inclusive cocktails, rums, tequilas, gin and tonic and so on. There’s reps everywhere selling excursions and you can get them cheaper to what you’ve found on GetYourGuide. The food is delicious that they have here, breakfast was my favourite there are so many options for food plenty of fresh fruits and different food every night and they also do freshly stone baked pizza every day. The rooms are okay, the thing is the rooms are decent nothing amazing but beds are comfy you get a little balcony but the bedroom smells musty especially when you turn on the air con. Also if you miss dinner there’s a snack bar open till 2am near the pool! This was very handy for us as we arrived at midnight and was really hungry it was a saviour!!

The exact opposite of impressive 1. check in - extremely long wait 40mins, no complimentary drink offered while in line, service desk was not helpful when checking in, only 2 people on check in with lots of empty desks. It was a bad start to the holiday and omen of what to come. 2. Room was not ready when we checked in late afternoon. 3. Buffet was the worst food I have ever tasted, truly can’t describe how bad it was. I prayed for no food poisoning after. Food was all cold even the “hot” food, flys on half the food, terrible quality food and food was not restocked. I’ve never had worse food in my life, how can you mess up basic dishes like pizza. The buffet did make me want to instantly check out. 4. Pool water was murky and the grout was not clean. Pool is also not heated, which is fine as it’s warm but would be great to have the option of at least one warm pool. 5. Pool Bars lacked positive service, limited non alcoholic options and often told had run out of mojitos or other drinks. Service was not at all efficient. 6. Al carte - still not good food. Very disappointed in the food, I know all inclusive resorts are never the best food but wow was this still a surprise. Spanish tapas restaurant was a buffet with a range of food. The seafood pasta we had was extremely chewy pasta which was not nice. The other tapas was ok but would avoid anything with seafood because I didn’t taste good and seemed like a recipe for food poisoning. Snack bar was also very bad, would have been great if they included basics like fruit, ice cream and chips, or simple by the pool snacks. 7. Rooms - the rooms are outdated but still nice enough, with aircon and balcony which make the room feel nicer . The bed was comfy. This is where the one star comes from. However the bathrooms lacked some basic things. The bathroom had an all in one shampoo conditioner and didn’t supply a bath mat, !body moisturiser shower cap, cotton wool circles which other basic but nice hotels would usually include and are just cheap easy basics that would elevate the space. 8. The beach was nice but windy and had lots of seaweed, i will acknowledge they had cleaned a lot of the seaweed on the sand which made a difference. The water also wasn’t that clear however was still pleasant. 9. Also worth noting they have construction on site, next to the beach which makes it nosy at times. 10. During the day some of the pools blasted music, so If you want a relaxing read by the pool it can be hard to find. Overall if you have no taste buds and just want to be on the beach, this resort would be fine for you. However if you want edible food and a nice experience DO NOT COME HERE. Would not suggest!!

Okay this will be a proper English couple on there review of the hotel since seeing loads of negative reviews before we came out here so we were sceptical. The resort its self is stunning, lovely location, it’s very well kept clean and can’t fault it. Quite a big resort. The pools we couldn’t fault but maybe that’s because we got premium side - speaking of premium they offered us to upgrade to a premium suite etc for $800 - came to £612. We did this, but I can advise you, I wouldn’t bother, the premium is no different to the food you’re still in the same area as the normal, the beach you get a premium side but they don’t care about this - the non premium still came to the premium side, you get a few extra drinks but that’s about it. I wouldn’t bother as the rooms are the same as the normal ones as below The rooms, there are so many rooms here it’s hard for the staff to stay on top of. Even in a premium suite ( the best you can get ) there is still odd marks around the sink or shower ( limescale ) the furniture is old and wooden so has marks on. The air con works for us, it’s a liveable room for us considering we were here for 10 days ( unfortunately we wish it was only for 7 ) The food ! - average / Poor, the buffet anyway, it’s a massive food hall type where you go up and help yourself. Yes there are flys on the food this is because the buffet area is all open spaced! There’s no windows etc it’s just a roof over your head and that’s it. It’s muggy and hot with a few fans over your head. It isn’t pleasant. The food is average I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Can’t comment on the restaurants. Apart from the tapas one. We ate here one night and the follow day we both spent the day in bed throwing up and on the 💩. Waste of a day The excursion people get on your nerves. Only if you’re on the beach you will have multiple people trying to sell excursions or cigars or cheap braclets, unfortunately you have to be harsh and say no I do not want anything or they won’t leave you Alone. Overall, it’s a 3* hotel. Personally I’d stay somewhere else. We got this semi cheap (2600) but that’s bad enough. Don’t bother paying 3-4 grand you’ll be disappointed. We won’t be returning. The rooms and food is what lets it down because the actual resort is amazing ! On another note, if you’re English staff don’t want to know you, they’re rude so just be rude back ( typical brit 😂 ) but yes staff are useless unless you get lucky with a decent English speaking on ! Hopefully for all those who are British and were wanting a honest brits review then I hope this helps as there isn’t many on there ! Happy holidays…if you’re not at the impressive UPDATE: we cut our holiday short and spent £900 on flights home… that explains it all
