We were a little bit scared when we started reading the reviews but this is like every place, some people has really bad experiences and they always gonna try to people stop going there. The hotel is simple but really cute , the price is affordable for big groups, the food is good, the have a lot of options besides the buffet, the cocktails are good and good options too, the check in was the perfect time. Yes, the rooms need some improvement and remodeling for sure but they were cleaned all the time! The STAFF is the main reason for 5 star review , they make this hotel a 5 star; they are always happy to help, they are smiling, making jokes, making u feel in vacation. So if you see a bad reviews is because people is super rude with staff.

This hotel isn’t a good hotel at all. Cheap and absolutely disgusting. First of all the staff was very rude and colourist at the hotel. My husband and I was uncomfortable but after a while we don’t care we just wanted to enjoy our stay (barely) They always had an attitude when you ask for help. Most staff barely understood English and fyi majority of the tourists are English speaking so maybe hire sensible people who could least help. Luckily my husband spoke Spanish thank god There is also construction going on at the hotel and it stinks. The food at the buffet is one of the biggest problems as many of the food isn’t done well and most times cold when going there to dine. The drinks are bland and watery and the buffet staff are somewhat nice. I end up getting food poison from the uncooked food at the resort. The ones that let you in the buffet aren’t nice at all as one do the staff was rude and rolling her eyes I’ll be inserting her picture. If you want to accommodate people properly and have good reviews maybe hire more friendly people?

This hotel is absolutely no where near a 5* hotel as advertised. The food was barely warm, flies swarming around, and the staff were just plain rude and ignorant. Expect to wait long periods of time to get served...if you get served at all. Power and water went off for long periods of time. Our room and around the hotel was poorly cleaned, unhygienic, and smelt of sewage. You are accosted at every stage of your holiday, from luggage collection at check in, breakfast, dinner, and even on the hotel beach - all to buy day trips and excursions from 3rd party companies. At one point, we were approached every 5 minutes during the day and when they won't take no as your first answer it gets immensely frustrating and tiresome. During our holiday the entirety of reception and the front bar was completely closed over night for what was blatantly planned construction. The whole area taped off like a crime scene with no word from staff, no message, nothing. When we approached members of staff they looked completely confused and could shed no light on what was going on. I've genuinely never experienced anything like it and devastated by what was supposed to be a relaxing 5* holiday to celebrate our anniversary, turned into a stressful time away. We won't be going back and we highly suggest anyone considering Punta Cana to choose a different hotel.

Checked in in less than 10min. The hotel definitely needs a little TLC which I didn't really mind but I know there are other shallow tourists that would totally loose it and will complain or request a different room. Food at the buffet was absolutely A M A Z I N G, so many options and everything so fresh and delicious, 5 stars to the soups and the mangú. Please, tourists you need to be more respectful towards the beach, people smoke and leave their cigarette butts on the beach sand, which is very sad. Staff was always friendly and very fun to be around. One gardener cut me a coconut and I got to drink fresh coconut water, that was so nice of him. Make reservations to eat at the a-la-carte restaurants as soon as you check in as they're always very busy. There are a few kittens at the premises, loved to pet them :3. Sargassum is tough the 2nd half of the year, the staff cleans the beach but it comes back, nothing to do there and not their fault, I mean how do you even fight Mother Nature? Yes, I would come back.

I stayed at Impressive Punta Cana and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. On the first day, we noticed a few things missing from our room, but we didn’t pay much attention to it at the time. However, on the last day, I realised that most of my makeup was gone — several expensive and recently purchased items. The only people who had access to the room were the cleaning staff, which makes the situation even more concerning. I would absolutely not trust leaving any personal belongings in the room or letting the cleaning service in while you’re away. As if that wasn’t enough, I also suffered from gastroenteritis after eating at the resort’s buffet and restaurants — the only places I ate during my stay. I ended up having to spend over $200 USD for a doctor visit and another $100 on medication that didn’t even last for the full treatment period prescribed. After reporting everything, the only compensation offered was one free night, which didn’t even come close to covering the expenses I had to incur — not to mention the distress and the fact that I couldn’t travel in my condition due to the illness caused by their food. Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing. Between theft, illness, and poor customer care, I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking this resort.
