The resort is spectacular! Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. Secreto has been a wonderful hero in the afternoon poolside while my friends & I loafed and enjoyed ourselves. The food and drinks are on point and I haven't felt this relaxed in ages!

I recently stayed at this resort as part of a group of 33 well-traveled, mature guests in our 50s. While we were looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable experience, a few key areas fell short of expectations and I hope this feedback is received in the spirit of improvement. 1. Service Attitude: A noticeable issue throughout our stay was the tone and demeanor of many of the staff, particularly waiters and bartenders. While we appreciate a friendly environment, the level of informality and “confianza” shown often crossed into what felt like disrespect. There is a fine line between being approachable and being overly casual with guests, especially with a group of our size and demographic. A touch more professionalism and awareness would go a long way in elevating the guest experience. 2. Food Quality: This was unfortunately the biggest letdown. From the pool snack bar to the breakfast buffet, and even at the specialty restaurants (French, Italian, and Latin), the quality was subpar. Ingredients tasted cheap and meals lacked the execution one would expect at a resort of this level. While we understand not every dish can be a hit, the overall impression was one of inconsistency and disappointment. We couldn’t help but wonder if these issues stem from deeper operational concerns—are employees overworked, underpaid, or inadequately trained? These factors often manifest in service attitude and food quality, and it may be worth revisiting staffing practices and training programs to ensure both employee morale and guest satisfaction are prioritized. We genuinely hope our feedback helps inspire some internal reflection. The resort has potential, but these concerns must be addressed if it wants to retain discerning travelers. — Julia J.

Everything is extremely good ,Nice beach, Great drinks, amazing staaf, friendly people. They allow us to stay after checkout as well(No $$$$$ for Drinks and food). And yes, Receptionists and whole staff are very Helpful Highly Recommended.

it’s fun meeting new people during late night shows and activities and the beach and pool. it is very easy to see different people every day. the workers are amazing and make the vacation experiences fun and personal. LOVE IT 💕

How this place has such strong reviews is absolutely beyond me. We stayed at this resort over the New Year to celebrate a friend’s anniversary and we had nothing but problem after problem. The staff’s attitude was awful, particularly the women. The women would ignore most of the women in our group, roll their eyes at us when we tried to order and slam drinks down on the counter. The facilities themselves are outdated and poorly maintained. There is peeling paint on the walls, cracked leather on the massage tables, etc. Food safety is non existent with everyone cross contaminating dishes at the buffet (including with common allergens like shell fish). The dishes were often dirty. They use a water purification system for the water, which is fine, so long as you maintain it. We weren’t confident about it given how poorly maintained the buffet was, and, as we feared, my partner ended up getting sick on the last day. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready despite us being a day late due to travel problems. When it was finally ready, we were given two queen beds despite booking an ocean view king. They gave us a new room the following day on the Punta Cana side, which was slightly nicer, but only slightly. The opening times listed on the website don’t match the app, so you end up missing the cut off times for meals if you’re not careful. When checking out, it took them 20 minutes to tell us that that we had to check out of the Punta Cana side, causing us to incur extra fees with our transport, which was kept waiting. We also asked someone to help us with our bags and it took 30 min for someone to come help us and we had to ask 2x, even though we told them what time our transport was supposed to be arriving. One member of our party got stuck in one of the elevators. There was a roach in our room on the last day. Honestly, I could go on. I have quite literally never had such a negative experience on a trip ever. We will not be back and honestly, I wish we could get our money back. Save yourself the trouble and save your money.
