All-inclusive
Ocean El Faro is an all-inclusive resort that provides a 24-hour service. The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

Very friendly and welcoming staff, very clean rooms. Awesome butler, Alex is second to none!
Upkeep of resort grounds very well maintained. Erica provided friendly excellent service around the hotel and our suite. The chocolates and flowers on the bed each morning and night were a very appreciated touch for our honeymoon.
Dirty towels and cloths picked up and replaced daily in rooms, turn down service provided nightly.
There is plenty of staff to service everyone’s needs all around the resort.
Felix in the buffet makes top shelf crepes!! And Christian In the Italian restaurant was amazing very professional and did his job with a great big smile. Thanks for the enjoyable honeymoon. We will be back next year.

Let me start with the positive, the waiters and waitresses at the restaurants were nice. The appearance of the hotel when you first arrive is beautiful & check in was an easy process. Reservations were a joke. Upon arriving they give you all the information including your number to access your account & be able to make your reservations through the app. When I tried I was told that I can not book in advance because that is only for “privileged” guest. There was only one restaurant open during the day and because I wasn’t a privileged guest I along with others had to stand in line and make a reservation. I was also told that it had to be day by day when I tried to book another reservation for the following day. I was laughed at and told that there was nothing they could do & I went to the front desk and was told the same thing. I also mentioned that I couldn’t come the following day to make a reservation for that night because you can only do it at 8 which is ridiculous and I had a scheduled pick up for an excursion at 7:05. I was also pulled in to try and join the privileged club and ended up spending over 2 HOURS with the people trying to get me to join. When I did have a reservation at the Steakhouse it took an hour to get the main course & I wasn’t even offered any other beverages. The room that they gave me had a funny smell and the floors by the balcony needed to be mopped.There was little to no night time entertainment. It was also really noisy
at night. Needless to say the next time that I visit Punta Cana I will not be returning here.

Less than 3 minutes after my family was situated poolside Nerson showed up and he is the absolute best. He made us feel comfortable and was extremely friendly and helpful with all the questions we had so we could get the lay of the land. That’s only the half of it because the drink service he provided was outstanding, we didn’t have to wait or want for anything because he was always checking on us making sure we were good without being intrusive. He made this experience truly memorable and if you’re poolside I hope you’re lucky enough that he’s around to take care of you too.

Jhon and Omar are an absolute delight at the pool bar! Their friendly demeanor and exceptional service truly elevate the poolside experience. Whether it's mixing up delicious cocktails or offering recommendations, they always go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and taken care of. Their professionalism and attention to detail shine through in every interaction, making them standout members of the bar staff. I highly recommend visiting the pool bar and letting John and Omar work their magic!
