The resort was beautiful and well.kept. Rooms are fabulous. Plenty of activities for all. Children really enjoyed the kids center. Those staff members were so kind and caring. Security for the kids is excellent. Dauly Joseph of the entertainment staff was exceptional. Especially with the children and aerobics. The family pool staff was amazing. Special shout out to Ignacia and Francisco. They heard it was my birthday celebration and the entire pool bar staff presented me with a small cake. It felt wonderful. Will become the annual fam8ly vacation spot. The waitstaff in the dining room was efficient and attentive. Special shout out to Miguel Yan. He was amazing. Attentive and offered Mimosas we didn't know was available in the breakfast buffet.

My vacation at the Hilton La Romana was made even more enjoyable by the fantastic service at the bar and beach. I would especially like to highlight the bartender, Diomedy De Los Santos. Her incredibly friendly manner and warm smile made each of my visits a real highlight. Diomedy is not only an extremely competent bartender who mixes fantastic cocktails – she also has a very special feel for her guests. She was always attentive, remembered our favorite drinks, and always had a few kind words ready. Her positive attitude was contagious and created an overall relaxed and pleasant atmosphere at the bar. Diomedy's service was always quick, efficient, and always with a smile. It was clear that she is passionate about her job and truly strives to ensure guests have a great time. I highly recommend Diomedy De Los Santos to every guest at the Hilton La Romana. She is an absolute asset to this hotel and made my vacation truly unforgettable. Thank you for the excellent service, Diomedy! I very much hope to see you again on my next visit. We are currently staying here with our 3 kids and my parents and are having an amazing time! Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks which were delicious. Check-in was quick and went smoothly. We weee introduced to our butler, Antonio, who is FANTASTIC! He immediately asked what we needed and liked, gave us his phone number, and has been bringing us things we didn’t even know we wanted like a cooler fukk of our favorites at the beach, fresh fruit trays, and snacks and treats in our room. Juliana, Freddie and Esteban with the E-Team are absolutely wonderful! This resort offers SO many fun activities for everyone, but also has plenty of relaxing spaces if that’s what you’re looking for. We have loved painting activities for adults, a wide array of fitness classes and lots for kids. Marbelis at Noor is a wonderful server! Her personality truly shines, and she is fantastic at her job. I will update at the end of the trip, but so far, this is fantastic!

Our family spent 5 days here & I will start with the negatives because there were very few. I treated myself to a gel manicure & regular pedicure the day before we left and as you can see by the pics the polish came off a day and a half after getting them done. My nail tech was a lovely person and she used the curing light but the polish must not have been actual gel polish. Much of the staff is great but often we were ignored or treated with annoyance when ordering. Okay, now the positives.The resort is very clean and beautiful. Large open spaces and comfortable furnishings. Some wear & tear and rust but what you’d expect being right on the water. The waterpark was a big hit with our kids and while I prefer the ocean (or sea) I found myself enjoying their pols more than I have at other resorts. Be sure to get there early to get good lounge chairs or splurge for the over water cabana beds, they looked amazing! We tend to steer clear from buffets due to concerns on food temperature, cross contamination, cleanliness and poor quality/selection but the buffet at this resort is excellent, 4 stars! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the buffet were all wonderful and favorites of every member of our group. The pizza and grill options by the water were also much better than we expected. Overall we would highly recommend the resort but hope that the quality and professionalism would be more consistent.

5 stars – A magical Easter experience for families at Hilton La Romana! We had the most incredible time during the Easter celebrations at Hilton La Romana! The hotel went above and beyond to make the entire weekend unforgettable for the kids (and grown-ups too!). Every single detail was so thoughtfully planned and filled with joy. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and energy. The kids’ activities were non-stop and full of creativity – a fantastic mix of fun and imagination. The Easter egg hunt was a highlight, with beautifully decorated areas and such generous treats. The kids walked away with so many sweets, toys, and surprises – it truly felt like a second Christmas! The pirate-themed games were absolutely brilliant – our little one adored dressing up in the full pirate costume (complete with sword, hook, and eye patch!) and going on a fun-filled treasure adventure aboard the pirate ship. The staff made it magical, getting into character and keeping the children engaged every step of the way. The bouncy castle, meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny, and Easter crafts added so much variety and excitement to the day. We especially appreciated how the team made sure every child felt included and special. The atmosphere was festive, safe, and full of smiles. A special thank you to the incredible entertainment team – your energy, patience, and effort made this holiday extra special. We’re so grateful for the memories made, and our little one hasn’t stopped talking about it since. Hilton La Romana truly knows how to celebrate with heart, and we can’t wait to come back next year!
