Just spent a week there. Our experience very consistent w Google AI summary. Food is inconsistent. Worse than other resorts we’ve been to. Rooms were on the small side and run down. ‘Queen beds’ were just larger than twins. Beach is excellent as are the pools. Always a good vibe around the pools. Good staff engagement trying to make things fun for kids. Have to say that our breakfast server, Fanny, was absolutely incredible!! She worked so hard for us every morning to accommodate our big group and arrange our preferred outside table. Always smiling and helped to enhance our start to every day. Huge thank you to Fanny!

We had a great stay at Grand Serenis overall, but the real highlight was the entertainment team. They were absolutely fantastic—high energy, friendly, and genuinely engaging with both kids and adults throughout the day and evening. From pool activities to nightly shows, they consistently brought great vibes and made the resort feel fun and welcoming. You could tell they actually cared about guests having a good time, not just going through the motions. The resort itself is beautiful and well laid out, but the entertainment team is what really made the experience memorable for our family. Big thanks to them for making the stay extra enjoyable—we’d definitely come back.

The entertainment team here was amazing They are kind and numerous. They always make sure we are having fun, dancing or relaxing. We especially loved the games like archery, darts, tennis and other activities like the foam party, painting classes and dance classes. They made sure we feel included. We also loved the food at the club. They were all well cooked with flavour. We would one day come back!

Overall it was decent , but for a resort I honestly expected much better organization. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed, but we had to wait two days to get the sofa bed set up, so our daughter ended up sleeping with us for two nights. We constantly had to ask for basic things like pillows and towels, which often arrived very late — once around 11:30 pm while we were already asleep. The food was repetitive, often the same dishes, and many items listed on the menu were frequently unavailable. At times, it felt like half the menu simply didn’t exist. Unfortunately, almost no one speaks English. I don’t expect the entire staff to, but at a resort charging these prices, at least the front desk and check-in staff should be able to communicate. This made everything unnecessarily difficult. The bathroom ventilation didn’t work at all, and the floor flooded after every shower, which is unacceptable in a resort of this level. On the positive side, the entertainment team was great and the resort itself is beautiful. The food quality, when available, was decent — though consistency was a big issue. One more thing: do not book the catamaran excursion to Catalina Island through the resort. It was a terrible experience and left us feeling completely ripped off. After that, we avoided booking any other excursions because we didn’t want to risk being scammed again. For such a premium price, I would expect a well-organized, reliable, and overall high-quality experience — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are having an amazing experience at this resort! I want to give a special highlight to Nicole from the kids’ area she has been absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly attentive, caring, and truly great with children. My son loved spending time with her at the Kids Club, and seeing how happy and safe he felt made our stay even more special. Because of the fantastic service especially thanks to Nicole we are already thinking about coming back on our next vacation. Highly recommended! 🌴✨
