We did not know much about Grand Serenis when we booked; however, it was a pleasant surprise. Good waterpark for the kids of all ages, great beach, nice grounds, large pool. Completely separate pools spread out would have been nice, but the single large pool was broken up into sections so you could sit at a busier/active area or choose to go somewhere more quiet. While nothing we ate was truly exceptional, the food was adequate for a family of foodies. Buffets were best soon after opening as much of the food would tend to be not hot. What was really nice was that there were lots of daytime food options. Sit down buffet, but better yet was the walk up beach barbecue and the buffet, which was great for the kids to grab food whenever they wanted without having to dry off and get dressed. The rooms were a bit dated and small, but given that we spent a little time there it was fine. Entertainment options were good and had both indoor and outdoor event events. The water was great, clear and lots of fish. Maybe resorts along the beach don’t was nice to walk along in either direction. All staff that we encountered were welcoming, attentive and nice. Honourable mentions go to Ashlee (guest services), Mario & Yessica (ULC pool bar and area) and Carlos & Jose (cocktail bar)

The animation team could use a revamp. It’s okay but coming from other all inclusive resorts where the shows are extravagant this was below par. The individuals are great but the program itself could use work. My son is 13 and I found he wasn’t allowed to participate in a lot of activities with the resort. He was too old for the kids club but too young to do the activities outside of kids club, they were only for adults. So that was disappointing. Rooms were fine but nothing fancy. We had no issues with our room. Food was really good at restaurants but hit or miss at buffets. Beach was beautiful. If you like volleyball, bring your own ball. The resort won’t always let you use one. I also find someone is always trying to sell you something whether you’re sitting at the beach or pool someone is always asking you for something which is a little frustrating. I also didn’t like that I was pressured by the resort to make reviews. When I was doing one activity at the beach one staff member took my phone asking if she could look something up and gave the resort 5 stars complimenting the animation team and handed me back my phone. Also when checking out one staff was adamant that I complete a review and she needs to take a picture of it before I left. I told her I wasn’t ready to do it right now and she told me I had to. I ended up walking away. The waterpark feels a little dangerous, it is not a smooth ride you feel every seam on the way down. If the main attraction to this resort is the waterpark I would pick elsewhere but other than that it’s a great spot for younger kids. Lots around. Other than the bizarre interactions with some staff overall it was a good trip. I likely wouldn’t return as my son is older and it feels more for small kids but we did have fun.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the facilities were excellent. A special shout-out goes to Isaac at the pool bar — he truly made our stay memorable. Isaac was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always had a great attitude. His service was outstanding, and he made everyone feel welcome with a smile. Whether it was recommending drinks or just having a quick chat, he added a personal touch that really stood out. Thanks to Isaac and the rest of the team for such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a relaxing stay!

Amazing people and atmosphere! Big thanks to our concierge Wilson for helping out with anything we needed, as well as Pikachu for coming up with the best activities and showing us a very great time. He had great vibes so if you wanna do fun activities, for the young and old, look for my guy Pikachu. Service is also great. All the restaurants, buffets, and staff (including members staff) are incredible. They have great service and are very welcoming. So I would definitely come to Punta Cana Grand Sirenis again if the future.

Pros: great beach, nice resort, great bars and cocktails.. vip lounge great, bathrooms in lobby very clean Cons: service is not great, room was not great, outdated 2nd day there we had our jewellery taken in our room. Safe wasn’t working and the hotel hadn’t come to fix it yet. The hotel took no liability. No teen club. 1st resort we’ve been to with no teen club. We were part of VIP/ULC service VIP breakfast and lunch menus were great but it often took 30 minutes to get our meal. Italian restaurant is terrible Steakhouse inconsistent. 1st time we ate there was great, 2nd time both service and food terrible. Brazilian very good
