Spent five nights here in winter 2020 (just before the COVID outbreak). Our room was fine, nothing special. Housekeeping (or other staff members) would let themselves into our room on several occasions without knocking or announcing themselves at all. Restaurant service was mostly abysmal, with over 45 minutes of waiting for any dinner service on our first night. The beach was a bust, because we couldn’t sit in peace for even a moment without some type of saleperson approaching us to try and sell us their wares. Absolutely wouldn’t come here again.

Great location and beautiful views but that is all. Pushy timeshare people (bought in 2021) to later fing out it's pretty much a scam. I would recommend just enjoying everything else and not agreeing to a timeshare.

We went when there was curfew in the country during the COVID-19 times, there wasn't much activity in the hotel seven so we had a good time because we party in punta cana clubs, as it was an adult hotel, we had a complaint because the buffet was mixed with the family resort and that's how we got breakfast and champagne in the room as a result of the complaint.

Horrible horrible experience. The workers at the front seemed to look down at us and we're extremely dismissive. Either because of our skin color, our accents, who knows. But very poor customer service. The rooms were disgusting. Food at the buffet was gross. Pools and beaches were gorgeous but that was the only positive. I will never return. This resort is definitely a quick/familiar destination spot for locals but NOT for tourists who are used to higher quality vacations. Every other resort in the area was beautiful!! A shame we didn't spend extra dollars to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to the DR. A lot of anti-black undertones. Shameful.

After flying 10hours from France and not knowing what to expect , I can say that I spent an amazing 10 days vacation in Be Live Collection Adults Only Punta Cana with my mother in every way.
The hotel is very clean, cozy,and beautifully designed. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have very comfortable beds.
The chefs and the staff are very friendly having always a service with a smile.
The food was very fresh and tasty with lots of variety .
The beach was beautiful and long , great for walks.
In addition the General Manager and Nicolas from the VP desk were very attentive to our needs and made us feel like home.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitively come back even if I have to fly another 10hours ! :)

I was very impressed with my stay at this resort! I usually keep my expectations reasonable, but Tropical Deluxe Princess exceeded them by a wide margin.
What stood out the most was the quality of the staff. I didn't encounter a single unhelpful or unprofessional person—which is honestly mind-blowing! Everyone was positive, attentive, and easy to communicate with, even though my Spanish is quite basic. This includes the front desk, bellmen, housekeeping, restaurant staff, and beach crew.
The rooms were clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Mine looked either relatively new or recently renovated.
The food at the restaurants was mostly very good—better than I expected. The quality and variety were both solid and satisfying.
The resort grounds are large but still feel compact and easy to navigate. You can walk everywhere, or take a trolley that comes by every 5–10 minutes, so you're never waiting long.
I really liked the beach—it’s well-maintained and clean, with plenty of sunbeds and lots of space. There’s also a good mix of free and paid activities available.
On a previous trip, I stayed at another well-known all-inclusive resort in the area with a similar price point, but the difference in quality was significant in favor of Tropical Deluxe Princess. I can confidently say I’ll be coming back. This resort has everything I need, and it’s likely not worth looking for better options at this price.

I don’t know who gave this place 5 stars and if they have ever stayed in a real 5 stars property but this is NOT it. MAYBE 3.5 is the max I’d give. The staff is unhelpful, and borderline rude. The bartenders are not friendly either. We also tip when we interact with the staff to help. Half the restaurants were closed and only the Mexican restaurant had availability on the second day. Then only Brazilian the third. This is absolutely ridiculous. 5 star resorts ensure they have availability for their guests. They also actually serve and interact with their guests. Sure your stay could have been great! And could have been a 5/5 for you, however this is NOT the quality of a 5 star resorts ensure. Also we were given used toiletry products ( shampoo etc).
Update 6/10*** I am active at the resort updating this reservations. There are staff members that are HOMOPHOBIC!!!!! Anyone that is gay or LGBT DO NOT COME HERE. A staff memeber that cleans the pool said that I cannot kiss my husband. Honestly I am not comfortable doing more than a peck because I know it makes people uncomfortable. But they spoke to me after I swam to my friend. I did confront them because I will not pay for a place an be embarrassed by a staff member. DO NOT STAY. At this resort. Also I had a beef tenderloin with bacon. I literally couldn’t chew it. So again. Do. Not. Stay. Here. Put this resort out of business until they invest in service. Or al least recognize WHAT they are. Now I wouldn’t rate this hotel more than 3 stars. Less than a courtyard ( for my US friends). Let’s see what tomorrow brings. I’m Open to improvements, but I have worked at Disney and great airlines so I know what good hospitality is and this is NOT it.

Wonderfull experience on a superb and well-organized resort. Beautiful beach and fun pools for the whole family. Very good restaurants and excellent service. A special thank you for the OUTSTANDING service of Dania, Keila and Gleyri at the buffet who gave us a very enjoyable and human service that made our time with them absolutely memorable. We hope the management is aware of the chance they have to work with such admirable human beings. Thank you for everything!

The service at the hotel was wonderful. The staff greeted us in the lobby and every one greeted us throughout each day with a friendly smile. The food was delicious and our room was kept clean with fresh towels every day made possible by our housekeeper, Milena.
The beach was beautiful and lots of activities for couples and families. The dinner reservations at the various restaurants were a lovely experience for the different cuisines. Of note, all the staff at FOGO made our reservation spectacular. Commendations to Edwin, Santos, Domenga, Alejandrina, Stefany, Fran and especially Maite.
The staff at El Pilon was courteous but supervisor Adalgisa and Rutinel took special care of us, especially Keila Francisco, who went above and beyond to cater to all our needs and made us feel valued as guests.
This is our third time and enjoyed every moment of our vacation.

Never i will come back. This will be a very long review. I had a very unpleasant experience at this resort. After a 10 hour flight when we arrived at the room they gave us a family room which was very dirty the bed linen was clearly visible that someone had slept there and not changed it was stained..there was dirt on the toilet..I showed it to the gentleman who was with us and he called someone to change the linen but I refused the room because we had paid for something else. The cleaning lady asked him if he would change the linen again? because we were not going to stay there she left without changing it..
The rooms are very old and not clean very dusty stained and dirty linen the food is not kept in hygienic conditions..Most of the staff do not care about the customers if you do not know Spanish you are treated with indifference as if you do not exist at the table...There were 2 girls who were at the lobby in the evening who served us I only remember one name Candida and the other girl was I do not remember the name I know she was from San Pedro. They always served us very well, they were very nice and attentive, they know how to behave with customers, congratulations to them!!
And the cleaning lady who took care of us after the unpleasant experience we had with the first room was very nice and attentive, her name is Estefany, she is very hardworking, congratulations to these people you have in your staff.
These are the bad parts!!!
The good parts it has are the entertainment, it is very good, the team of dancers are very professional and friendly, they always come up with something new, the evening was a very pleasant atmosphere, you could not get bored. Congratulations to the team!! The exterior of the hotel is very clean, it looks very nice and the pools are clean.. my opinion is that the hotel is not 5 stars

I was in contact with the property prior to the travel date due to some negative reviews. I have to say we were impressed. The room we stayed in was large and nicely decorated for our anniversary. Aside from the sewage odor in the area of the Platnum member, the resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff were very warm and welcoming. Our first all inclusive, it was very pleasant and worth the trip. We stayed away from the salad bar, drank bottled water, beer and wine only. The food were delicious. The pool and beach were close together and that is just wonderful. A shout out to one of the managers, Manny thanks for helping us arranging our transportation to the airport when we had no cell service. And yes Greisy, one of the staff at the buffet...was very attentive, loving and fun! We would definitely return.

I recently returned from an 8-day stay at the Grand Bávaro Princess Resort with my boyfriend at the end of May. We’re both in our mid-20s, and while this was my first time staying at a resort, it was his second. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired, and I wanted to share an honest account for other travelers, especially young couples, considering this destination.
Arrival & Check-In:
Upon arrival, the resort looked nice at first glance, but the welcome was underwhelming. Staff were available to assist with luggage, which was appreciated, but the open-air layout of the lobby made it uncomfortably hot and humid, there’s no air conditioning in this area, only ceiling fans struggling against the Caribbean heat.
We arrived around noon, knowing check-in wouldn’t be until 3 PM, so we were directed to the buffet to pass the time. Unfortunately, this dining area is also open-air, which made for an uncomfortably hot experience. Flies and birds hovered near plates, which made it hard to relax or enjoy the meal. The food was average at best and lacked variety, rotating through the same limited options each day.
In summary, this stay was disappointing and not at all what we hoped for. If you’re a young couple looking for a romantic or exciting getaway, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. You won’t get much value or enjoyment here. However, if you’re a family seeking a budget-friendly, kid-oriented resort, it might be more suitable.
Would I return? Definitely not.

First Schneider from reception was very charming, nice, helpful made my check in experience great and smooth. He was so welcoming he got us drinks as soon as we got to the desk. Had our room ready so quick he was honestly amazing.
The Hotel was wonderful, Beautiful, more the one I expected.

We went for a family trip and it was fun!! Rooms were neat & clean!! Resort was all inclusive and food quality was good!! Customer service was awesome and staff were very friendly, which made our trip so memorable. Pool was near & clean and well maintained!! There were lots of different even schedule in evening time like live singer, silent music party ( which was really unique & fun) which was fun and had a good time everyday in evening!! There were lots of activities for kids and they had a separate pool section with all amenities like play area, movie time, food and many other things!!!
Overall I would recommend this resort for family vacation!!!

We booked this experience for a special engagement, but unfortunately, it was completely ruined due to poor planning and lack of attention to detail.
First and foremost, there was absolutely no sense of privacy or romance. The setup felt cheap and low-effort, positioned right at the restaurant’s doorstep instead of a more intimate, scenic spot near the beach. To make matters worse, we had to witness multiple other proposals happening around us, which made our moment feel impersonal and rushed.
The atmosphere was severely lacking there was no music, no romantic ambiance, and upon arrival, we weren’t even greeted. Instead, the staff was busy cleaning and chatting among themselves, making us feel unwelcomed.
The service was also disappointing. They completely messed up the food order, serving steak to a vegetarian guest, which is unacceptable. Given the occasion and the price we paid, we expected much better service and attention to detail.
When we raised our concerns with the manager, we were not taken seriously, which only added to the frustration. Instead of creating a beautiful, once in a lifetime memory, this experience turned into a huge disappointment. For the premium price, we expected a high-quality, well-organized proposal setup unfortunately, this did not meet even basic expectations.
We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their service to ensure other couples don’t go through the same disappointment.

This one is for travelers that have been to others All Inclusive resorts and have experienced true Costumers service, cleanliness and overall decent communication from staff.. you WILL NOT get that here! Spend your money somewhere else. I have not read the reviews prior to coming to this place, and lesson learned.
The rooms are not clean, run down, they won’t even change the towels.
The staff barely acknowledges you, at best! At least twice a got an eye roll from staff.
The food is at best a 5/10
. The people working can make or break your experience! The staff working should be trained more!
Also, The communication between front desk, costumer service and client is the worst!

Let me start by saying please don’t listen to the negative reviews. We had a fabulous time from start to finish, our 10 day stay on our family vacation was great. The staff were such hard working and kind helpful people. Hats off to all staff at this resort from the bell boys, to the maids servers etc all fantastic. A special thanks to our housekeeper Juana Guzman for always keeping our room tidy and filling our fridge. The food was good, especially the French and seafood restaurant. Best drinks are found at Lobby bar 2.

We stayed here in the fall and were very pleased with this hotel. The food here is great, there were different dishes every day. Although the weather was not very sunny during our stay, there was enough entertainment on the hotel grounds to enjoy our stay here. The only downside was that the hotel description states that the staff also understand English, but at the reception we were served by a girl who did not understand basic words, but I consider this a small downside, although the check-in was quite long. We really liked the pools, the area around them, the wonderful cocktails at the bar. There are wonderful shops on the hotel grounds where you can buy souvenirs. The room is good, we had a wonderful view from the window. Perhaps the rooms need restoration, but this is due to the heat. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and thank you for making our vacation wonderful

I recently stayed at Occidental Caribe in Punta Cana, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The resort is beautiful, with stunning beachfront views, well-maintained pools, and lush gardens that create a tropical paradise. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing space to unwind after a day in the sun.
The food options were great, with a variety of restaurants serving delicious meals, from local Dominican flavors to international cuisine. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The entertainment team was lively, keeping the energy high with fun activities throughout the day.
The only downside was the loud music that played until late at night. While I understand that many guests enjoy the nightlife, it would have been nice if there were designated quiet areas or better soundproofing for those who prefer to rest earlier. If you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea.
Despite that, I would still highly recommend Occidental Caribe for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway in Punta Cana. Just be prepared for some late-night noise if you’re hoping for a peaceful evening! 🌴✨

There are so many positives yet negatives of this resort. Firstly, the resort was very clean and staff were great. The rooms on the Punta Cana side were average, the bathrooms were nice but the actual room was dated. The food at the Ala Carte restaurants was good but the buffet was average for an all inclusive. The resort itself and the beach were nice.
The entertainment could be so much better. There was hardly any music at the pools, no swim up bar (not the end of the world as they have servers but when it's busy you may be waiting a while) and the night life was very disappointing. The activities seemed to end early in the evening and even the club was disappointing.

The pools and beach were great!
Food was good. Service was good. The rooms are a little dated. The gym was excellent.
Only complaints were our room seemed like they didn’t clean our room a few times near the end. Sheets weren’t changed, and they didn’t restock the fridge.
Also, they allow vendors on site, and they were aggressive with wanting us to buy their items. Kind of turned me off.
Other than that it was a good vacation.

Overall great experience, no complaints. Fit and fun program is really nice, I played tennis, pickle ball and most importantly basketball. Angel from Fit and Fun was really nice and was willing to play ball with me even outside his hours, the staff is really top notch. They’re caring and friendly, if you plan on going and you’re into sports, I really suggest going to see Angel!

First, the weather was spectacular and the grounds were beautiful and clean! Now for the cons, booze was watered down, hard to communicate dietary restrictions (gluten free) and navigate food options, constantly hassled about time share breakfast and approached by vendors on the beach. Overall Impressive is a nice hotel, excellent food, good drinks, nice beach and plenty of pools. Would 100% recommend going premium as you get better drink selection, extra restaurants and just a better service. There are also lots of activities throughout the day to get involved in. Reason for the 4 stars is due to the language barrier we experienced, we felt like the staff catered more to the Spanish speaking guests and there were times we felt excluded from activities because the staff didn’t understand or speak English well. There was also a couple of times where the breakfast staff were talking about us. We also spoke to another couple who told us they got upgraded to premium for free which was abit annoying considering we paid However, this really was quite minor so I wouldn’t let it put you off. Shout out to the premium pool bar staff they were great throughout

Reception team i found to be very blaise as we booked a king sized bed and got a small double, after asking numerous times to the butler service (Inc with premium) and reception we gave up after 3 days chasing with no proper answer. I don't expect the hotel to read this review, but if offering a butler/contact service, then they really should be responding to messages.
Premium pool and bar (nice staff) very good varied with activities to fill the day. Evening shows were decent. If you book premium, once you get there, try and pre-book the restaurants on offer as these book up very fast. You can use the hotel link once there. $35 in cab from airport, took just under 30mins. Not a great deal outside of hotel apart from few restaurants, bars, supermarkets. Bring USD as ATM is only DOP and ATM's outside were mostly out of service. Ask questions if needed.

Yeah definitely not impressive. The beach is nice and that's about it. Food sucks, service sucks, front desk sucks. The premium isn't premium. House keeping is good. Entire place is very average and we would not return. The premium butler service is non existent. Guensly our "butler" is teets on a bull. He never even stepped foot inside our room in 2 weeks, had to chase him down the first couple days then just gave up on him. We paid for the ocean front room. The TV was messed up to where it wouldn't turn off, I had to make coffee in the bathroom because the coffee maker was unplugged and there was no way to plug it in in the room. Our bed was an old spring mattress that felt like a trampoline. There's a volleyball and mini soccer space right in front of the oceanfront premium buildings and its non stop with the balls being thrown or kicked over to the balcony. The food sucks and the bars never have ingredients to make the advertised drinks. Some staff are nice while majority hate the visitors. Most servers at the restaurants are incompetent. It's like the place has no management or standards. No manager every contacted us or asked how is everything and we stayed for 14 days. Power goes out every couple of days. Internet is hit or miss. There is not a separate wifi network for the premium area as advertised. Theres non stop selling of crap on the beach by vendors and garbage tour companies. They do not have a business working space for remote work. Yikes need a vacation from the vacation.

Great trip to Punta Cana Princess. Top notch place. There were a few staff members who really made us feel welcome. Make sure to visit the beach bar. The older bartenders are great! Frank makes a dandy frozen margarita. Make sure to chat with Charles, and get that couples massage on the beach. Food is good. Call the guest services in the morning and let them know you want your room cleaned and mini bar restocked. Internet impressive. Literally sitting on the beach with good wifi. Good in the room and by pool as well. Relax and enjoy!

I booked the King suite which was amazingly comfortable, I also paid a little extra for the VIP amenities. Upon arrival, Stocked with complementary water, beers and sodas. The room was also in-hand with Robes, slippers, beach towels and and itineraries for 4 onsite restaurants and 3 bars. My room was amazing with a balcony and a courtyard view. Only a couple of the bars were 24/7hr for the night owls and vacationers! With the VIP service you were able to order food and drinks off the “after hours menu” everything à la carte. Also order drinks at the VIP area on the beach with your own personal butler. Pretty dope! This resort was pristine clean! You can smell the cleanness! Beautiful lobby with gorgeous decorative views of the Dominican culture. They even recycled onsite! Which was a big plus for me.
Maria one of the many front desk concierges was an exceptional! She helped me from check in to anything I needed onsite or whatever. She made my first time in Punta Cana stay amazing. She was even so generous to help with the money conversion as I was completely lost! lol! Thank god for gentle kindness people like Maria. She was a beautiful and kind soul!
What I liked most about Punta Cana Princess, the staff truly treat you like a princess. From check in to the excursions booked, and any accommodations needed! They have water activities everyday for anyone who wants to play or enjoy the watch. The people in the DR was a fresh of breath air and I’m glad I visited!
You can even leave your personal belongings at the beach or poolside and they will STILLL be there. Not to mention in the past I had a couple incidents with me leaving my phone or purse and thinking it would be safe and I was highly disappointed. But not DR Princess resort! They do not play when it comes to the tourists, as they have security walk the areas. I like to feel safe and I definitely felt safe as I travel all exclusive. They are a MUST see and check em’ out!

** Please note this review is for Punta Cana princess all suites adults only hotel ! There seems to be reviews for several of the other princess hotels on here. First off it’s more of a three star hotel than a five star hotel as it could do with a bit of an upgrade as a little rough round the edges, mainly the rooms, the Aircon works sometimes at one point of our stay it was cooler outside the room then inside the room. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, but that’s just my experience but may be fine for other people. The food at the buffet restaurant was a bit hit or mis, the hot food was normally lukewarm or cold, unless you saw being cooked in front of you as in the pasta or the omelettes. The pool was always clean and had just enough chlorine in it, and very nice to cool down in the middle of the day. The beach was virtually unusable due to the amount of seaweed that was coming in off the Atlantic. Not the hotel’s fault they cannot control nature. It seems the end of May and June are bad for the seaweed. The gardens are extremely well kept and look fantastic. The staff are fantastic to very helpful, very friendly. Would I stay in this hotel again? Yes if it was in a different location, would I go back to Punta Cana probably not but I would definitely go back to the Dominican Republic.
If you want to go scuba diving, see the lads next to the towel hut good lads and the diving was quite nice better than Catalina Island.

I only have positive things to say about the Bahia Grand Principe Punta Cana!! We were a 2 minute walk from the beach and it was so beautiful. Our housekeeper became our friend and she went out of her way to make us feel at home. The food was excellent wherever we ate! My favorite was the Tequila restaurant. Night time it's like entering another world of color and music. All staff were so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back and stay longer next time!

We came here for my sister birthday and had a great time. The resort was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. We received exceptional service from these amazing bartenders Franky and Enerio. Friendly and welcoming and always made sure we had a drink in our hand. Some days the food was not the greatest but they had great options. Sometimes our burgers were not cooked completely, we hope the next time we return we will have better experience with the food. Other than that the resort was beautiful and lots of fun. We hope to see you soon!

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The facilities were excellent, especially the swimming pool where I enjoyed dancing and exercising. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding — staff were friendly, warm, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, the views were stunning, and the beach was simply beautiful.
I would especially like to thank Ezequiel, who was incredibly kind and helpful during my stay. I became unwell and he personally assisted me in getting to the hospital and checked on me afterward to make sure I was okay. His support truly made a difference.
One suggestion for improvement: it would have been helpful if, upon arrival, we were provided with more detailed information about the hotel’s facilities and activities — either through a welcome briefing or an informative website. This would allow guests to make the most of everything available.
Also, I strongly recommend that travelers have valid travel insurance. Even a simple cold or flu can cost over $3,000 in medical expenses here, so it's better to be prepared.

The resort is absolutely amazing boasting an incredible landscaping, rooms, food, service and amenities. There are pools everywhere but the main beach pool still manages to be crowded.
There's always a party going on every night especially at the village center. And the nightly performance are pretty good too. So there's never a dull moment.
The Bavaro Beach is very nice offering many water sports and the nearby corals are beautiful and great for divers.

My family and I stayed at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana for 7 days and overall, we had a great experience.
The positives:
The food and drinks were definitely highlights of our stay. We especially enjoyed the dinners at the Japanese and French restaurants — the quality and flavor exceeded our expectations. The staff throughout the resort were always in a good mood and ready to help. A special shout-out to Fernando at the beach bar (Club section – adults only) and Stacy at the French restaurant for their outstanding service. The cocktails were fantastic, the pool was beautiful, and the room was always very clean and well maintained.
The negatives:
We didn’t feel like having a butler made a significant difference in our experience. Also, check-in was chaotic — no one seemed to know what was going on, and there was a long delay in getting our room keys, even though we paid for an exclusive service. Another downside is the noise at night. Since many areas of the resort operate almost 24 hours, it can get loud with people walking through the halls and talking loudly, which made it hard to sleep sometimes.
Despite a few issues, we recommend Majestic Colonial and would definitely return for another stay!

We were a group of 10, Edith was our butler and she was excellent and extremely approachable. The pool activities and foam parties were so much fun!! My recent stay at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana was nothing short of spectacular.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The entertainment provided was top-notch, and Cristina and Black Diamond in particular, was an absolute delight. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and their interactions with the kids showed immense patience and a genuine love for what they do. Watching them dance and sing with the guests truly added a special touch to our experience. Not to mention, the food in all restaurants was outstanding, and the service was impeccable especially Ricardo at the Buffet. Whether it was a casual meal at the buffet or a fine dining experience, every bite was a delight.
The resort itself is a paradise on earth. The beauty of the surroundings, combined with the luxury of having a swim-out room, created a serene and idyllic atmosphere. Our room's convenient location by the main pool allowed us to be in the heart of all the fun and excitement, ensuring that we never missed a beat.
Overall, our time at the Majestic Colonial was unforgettable. The staff's dedication, the exceptional entertainment, and the beauty of the resort made our stay a dream come true. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and fun in Punta Cana.

This was my first time ever visiting Punta Cana and staying at an all inclusive resort & I just wanted to first start off by saying what an AMAZING experience I had! When someone asks what I loved about my stay at the Majestic Colonial, I always start off by saying that the staff were my favorites! The ones I got to know & love dearly were Candela, Jose, and Erianny! Their inviting personalities made my stay well worth it and I enjoyed seeing their bright smiling faces everyday. They were attentive, friendly, and bubbly. Candela’s energy with the entertainment was infectious and you couldn’t help but join in all the activities she hosted. Jose was a great ball of energy and was a good vibe all around. I couldn’t wait to see Erianny at the buffet because she is such a sweetheart and her service was always exceptional! You can tell that the people who work here thoroughly enjoy their job and meeting new people. My stay from day one was the best and I really liked the entertainment they provided from the foam party, to the white party, and the silent disco. There was always something to do for everyone so you were never bored. The food at the buffet was always really great and I loved how there was something for everyone. I already miss being at the resort and it’s only been a couple of weeks since I left, but I can confidently say that I will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you to everyone at Majestic Colonial for providing such an exceptional and lasting impression. I would highly recommend anyone who’s interested in traveling to the Dominican Republic to not hesitate and book the trip!

We had the BEST time here we are planning to come back next year!! The room was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable (and trust me I’m picky). The food was also very good for an all inclusive!! There’s different food stations and restaurants to choose from. The steak restaurant was SO good you def need to try the ribs, and the hibachi was excellent as well! Drinks were good, service was excellent, beach was very clean, our butler Jesus was SO incredibly nice and went out of his way to talk to us everyday and help with anything we needed, he really made our trip! I love all the kittens around they’re so cute and I love that the resort doesn’t treat them poorly. Compared to the last resort we stayed at this blew it out of the water!! Staff was so much fun and was just so helpful I couldn’t recommend this resort more!!

Loved the place, I suffered an injury before my trip and was in a wheelchair for most of my stay. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Most of the resort is very accessible, with even a beach wheelchair.
Food was good to great, looking at other reviews, it depends on own taste. Personally, I loved the choice of the buffet and the à la carte restaurants. For us, the preferred to the least favorite of the ones we tried: Cinecitta , El Rancho, Ikebana, Raw. All of which had great quality of food and great service.
The room was not fully accessible, but located within reasonable distance for all resort locations. The room worked for me regardless. We are a family of 5 and all could sleep comfortably in the room. The room cleaning was good, but on one occasion we had to contact the concierge 3 times to get our toilet unclogged.
Staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay, although sometimes they had trouble understanding French or English, but we managed to have the service we needed and they all put great efforts into ensuring they understood what we were looking for.

We visited Grand Sirenis Punta Cana in early April 2025. The room we stayed at was clean and was cleaned very thoroughly daily while we were there. The service at the buffet was excellent and the buffet had a wide variety of cold, hot, freshly prepared food items. A wide selection of restaurants for dinner and the entertainment shows every night were amazing. As relaxing as everything was, the spa experience was amazing. I want to give special credit to Arisela for the massage at the wellness centre/spa.

Not 5 star. Rooms are dated and need some TLC. But service was great. You could always find something to eat, you won't go hungry. But it's not Michelin star, but what Dominican resort is? I've been to 4 different resorts in Punta Cana all at different price points generally the food is the same. People complaining about service at bars are going to the wrong bar. There are 2 pool bars and 2 beach bars. The busy ones are by the shallow pool. Staff are nice and very accommodating.
The kids had a blast and that's what really mattered to us!

We had a wonderful time in the Dominican Republic under the hospitality of the Majestic Resorts crew. Muñeca and Gigi were very nice and showed us a great time on the dance floor. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. The resort is really nice and we will definitely come back. The best thing about the resort is the people. The service is awesome and they really make you feel relaxed and welcome. The water was turquoise blue and the drinks were free, it was paradise.

We came for my friends birthday and the room decorations were so fun. The pools are the perfect temperature and the staff made it a lot of fun, shoutout to Ricardo especially for looking after everyone and bringing a fun energy.
The entertainment team brought so much dance and energy and there were lots of really fun events, I highly recommend going to the foam party.
The restaurants were amazing and the food was delicious, I would highly recommend the steakhouse and the Japanese restaurant.

My husband and I have been going to Majestic Elegance for the past 7 years. We choose this resort for a few reasons. The service you get is outstanding. We stay on the club side (adults only). There is a private pool for adults, beach access for adults only and also restaurants. The resort is all inclusive so everything is included in your stay. The people are very friendly and will accommodate your every need. It is the cleanest resort, we have been to other resorts in the Dominican Republic and also the Caribbean and we keep coming back to Majestic Elegance for the best vacation. It is also cost effective.

We went during Spring break in March. This is a family resort so there wasn’t too much college kids. We requested a quiet room and we got it. Food was great, staff was amazing and we had a great time! The resort is super clean, didn’t see any dirty dishes/room service dishes left anywhere. At dinner they never let our water cups get below half full. As soon as you were done with your plate they took it. Very attentive. My whole family is gluten free and it was super easy for us to find things to eat. The gluten free pasta was amazing at the Italian restaurant, but the gluten free pizza was terrible. Would not get that again, taste like it was heated up from microwave. They had gluten free bread, rolls, muffins, buns, so we were able to have a good variety. This resort is shared by Secrets adults only resort and it was nice at night to leave our teen daughter in the room and have a little date with my husband at the coffee shop and do a little gambling at the casino within 1/4 mile from our room. The hotel has a large gate at the front and the resorts were towards the back away from the street. We always felt super safe. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

The rooms, design, and layout were absolutely stunning. They have a plethora of pools from kids, kid friendly, and Adults only. 3 swim up bars.
The staff are wonderful. Shoutout to Isabel, Lowys (sp?), Mr. Wonderful, and Esba(sp?) They were kind, helpful, accommodating and friendly.
The spa was fantastic and relaxing.
Food was good overall. Breakfast buffet was a little underwhelming but dinners were really good!
The only thing for me is I wish the shows had a little more Dominican music, I understand you cater to the crowd but we traveled to come to you, show off more of the culture!!!
But great trip and facilities. Will come to this resort again!!

The staff was incredibly nice and very welcoming! My brother and I love sports and we met a guy named “Mr. Wonderful”. He took us out to play basketball with his friend at the court on the resort. I hope to go back soon. The service was incredible aswell, your drinks were always nice and fresh. We went snorkeling and it was amazing. I 100% recommend!

Very nice resort. The grounds were beautiful, our rooms were very close to the beach and steps away from the pools and restaurants.
I’ve included a few random pictures.
It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the newer part of the preferred resort. Very nice boardwalk with lots of birds. Great, fast service on that side of the resort.
Concierge service was excellent. Junior helped us with all of our needs and ensured we had everything we wanted.
A few things to note.
1. Our booking was for a king and pull out. We had the king and no pullout. They made it right on day two by bringing us a cot.
2. The preferred club seaside grill was hit or miss with service which was disappointing as the food was delicious. A few times it was very slow and incomplete orders.
3. The kids club. We had a 9 and 10 year old and they both felt it was catered to much younger children.
4. Front desk will trade large bills for smaller bills for tipping.
5. The banana boat ride was short but kids loved it.
6. The inflatable obstacle course just down the beach looks great but it was under inflated and tough. There were gaps between the sections that were dangerous. You’ve gotta be on the ball and watch your kids. I had one get stuck in the water between the sections.
7. Closest golf course Cocotal is a $10 cab ride. Pickup coordinated by concierge. $100 USD is the dreams resort rate. Definitely not spectacular but very close and still offered a fun day out golfing. If you take your golf very seriously, look elsewhere.
8. The night shows were cool, especially the beach party.

My wife and I recently stayed here for 5 days and it was one of the most amazing experience. Every single staff member starting with the concierge was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pools were clean and the drinks were amazing. Every single server and bartender was very attentive and ready to help us with every request. The food at the buffet was 10/10, everything was fresh and made same day. We didn’t do any excursions because it was more of a relaxing vacation for us but id definitely recommend and come back again.

I wasn't sure how it would be due to the last couple of bad reviews and almost even canceled for a different resort, but I took the chance and was the best decision. I would 100% be back. The hotel is very pretty, big, luxurious and the food is delicious. Normally at resorts the food is standard but here it is pretty good. Different kinds of foods for all tastes, the drinks are great and the staff was amazing. They have 2 big pools. One for the ones that like to party and a bigger one for the ones that like to relax. The music is from 3:30 to 6pm so I'm not sure about the complaints for loud music at night. At least me, and my guests had a great time.

We had stayed at this property for 5 days and enjoyed it. We had a personal butler Emilio who help make the check in and check out process smooth make restaurant reservations and send us daily activities and events to plan for. There was always something to do and the staff cleaning team management was all on point. We look forward to coming back for another honeymoon. Our stay at Breathless was the absolute worst ever. It is not up to Hyatt standards at all. This is not a 5 star resort. It is a 2.5 at best. The property is very dated which I didn't mind too much BUT:
They barely clean the beach up leaving all the seaweed rotting away. If you are looking for a beach vacation, CHOOSE A DIFFERENT RESORT!!
Neighboring resorts clean up their beaches and Breathless' response was "its natural" "we can't control it".
Well you can certainly control cleaning it up like the neighboring resorts. We ended up spending our time at neighboring resorts and lost out on being able to order food and drinks on the beach. What did I upgrade to Xhale for? Avoid at all costs. And if you already booked, switch resorts!!

The staff is incredible, so nice and polite and accommodating.
This resort exceeded all expectations. The food was another standout — fresh, flavorful, and with so many options that we never had the same thing twice unless we wanted to. All the food has been delicious, but I must mention, coming from the New York-New Jersey area where Mexican food is a signature, I have never had a fajita like the one from Chef Eduardo, so delicious just like if we were in Mexico very tasty, did I say “very tasty” this restaurant will not disappoint!
Our other favorite was Bordeaux the food was great and the service of Yadelka, Rosa and Hector was seamless, friendly and very professional.
The spa is just spectacular, thank you to Santa and Jennifer for our couple massage, the ladies at the front desk, Jorge and the lovely escort Yenis! ❤️

We just returned from a wonderful vacation here. One of the highlights of our trip was going to the Italian restaurant Portofino and the waiter Yoldi. He made our dinner that evening extra special and it was such a pleasure talking to him and made the experience at the hotel that much better. We also enjoyed Theodore who was very helpful when he greeted us upon arrival and was always there to answer any questions during our trip. Overall, I would recommend going to this hotel.

I recently stayed at Dreams Flora Resort, and while there were many highlights, there were also a few drawbacks that impacted my experience. First off, the resort itself is visually stunning. From the beautiful beaches to the lush, tropical atmosphere, the setting was absolutely gorgeous. I had the chance to try several restaurants during my stay, including the buffet and a steakhouse. On our first night, we chose the buffet, which turned out to be Italian night. The food exceeded expectations—the selection was plentiful, and the dessert bar, in particular, was a standout. Every night offered a different cuisine, which was a fun way to keep things fresh. Breakfast, however, was a bit of a letdown. While I understand the wait due to how busy it was, the quality of the food didn’t match up. The sausage and eggs were either bland or had a strange taste, and most of the other options were underwhelming. That said, for those with a sweet tooth, there were great options like waffles, crepes, and pancakes. Later on, we tried the Sea Side Grill. Some of the Thai dishes and noodle options were delicious, but the pasta dishes, including the mac and cheese, tasted like they came from a pre-packaged box. Still, the service at both restaurants was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. We also visited the Coco Café. While the smoothies were more like juice, the coffee was excellent, and there were lots of delicious snack options available. Now, on to the pools and the Preferred Guest experience. As someone who paid extra for a more exclusive, relaxing area, I was disappointed. The “preferred” lounge and pool area was full of screaming and crying children. According to the website, this section was supposed to offer a quieter, more relaxing experience, but that wasn’t the case. I believe there should be an age limit or better enforcement of the rules, especially for places like the hot tub. Instead of enjoying it, it felt more like a kids’ splash zone—with water everywhere, children jumping in, and the water not even being hot anymore.
This was honestly the biggest issue of my trip. While I understand families want to bring their children on vacation, paying extra for peace and quiet only to get the opposite was frustrating. It affected multiple parts of my stay. As a Preferred guest, our fridge was restocked daily by housekeeping, which was a nice perk. However, on the private beach, locals would approach trying to sell you things, sometimes even taking pictures of you. I get that they’re trying to make a living, but it was intrusive and uncomfortable at times. Another thing to note: as part of the Preferred package, you’re assigned someone to help explain the resort’s features—but they also try to get you into a presentation where they push for additional purchases or room upgrades. This felt more like a sales pitch than a helpful service. Despite these issues, the staff overall were absolutely fantastic—kind, generous, and always willing to go above and beyond. Their friendliness and effort were truly a highlight of the trip.

My family visited Dreams Flora Punta Cana in January of this year. It was me, my husband, and our two kids (ages 8 and 3). I had written a VERY detailed review right when we got back, it was so long that Google rejected it due to its length. So with this attempt, I am going to keep it short and sweet.
We had never done an all-inclusive before, and weren't sure what to expect. We ended up having the most amazing time. Everything from the grounds to the beach to the food to the service was incredible.
Special shout-out to Felicidad and her team at the Kids Club. She and her staff worked tirelessly to offer great entertainment throughout the day and into the evenings and we felt at ease leaving both our kids there for short periods of time.
We can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing time at this Secrets location! We upgraded to the preferred club upon arrival which was well worth it, as it grants you access to a pool that is a bit more relaxed and private. Our bartenders Sammy, Ruddy, Argeni and Rosa were incredible. They were attentive and remembered us all by name! All of the restaurants were excellent as well! Service overall is a 10/10 as all staff is extremely attentive. Shout out to our butler Marcos for answering all of our questions! We extended an extra night and be made the process very easy. I would absolutely stay at a secrets again, specifically this one!

We absolutely loved this hotel and the staff! You have a private butler when you're in the Preferred Club, which I highly recommend. We had Manny as our butler and he was great! Definitely request him. Omar, a bartender at the Showtime bar and the nightclub, was great too. He helped make our trip so much fun. The staff is absolutely amazing. I spoke with probably 40-50 people during our weeklong stay and had a great experience with every single person. Everyone is so nice, sweet, and attentive. They want to make sure you have a great experience. There are several pools and swim up bars, as well as a beach. You can request a room with a private pool. I would highly recommend staying here during your next trip to Punta Cana!

Overall we had an amazing time. This is our 3rd secrets we stayed at. By far this one was the best because of the entertainment and people. It’s a lot more lively than the other two we stayed at which I loved. The food was delicious. I only put 4 stars for the rooms because we were having issues with our lights not working and we had called 3-4 times to get it fixed. But honestly this was the coldest room we’ve ever stayed in at an all inclusive which was nice ! The beach and pool was clean and nice
Our butler Ramses was great. He took care of all of our needs. He also made sure the lights got fixed and sent me pictures showing they were actively fixing it. He put rose petals in the room and set everything up for us such as breakfast in our room hibachi and spa. He was amazing !

I stayed for a total of 8 days during the end of May. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. However, I did notice that the resort appeared to be understaffed, especially considering the number of guests present during my visit. This impacted the overall experience slightly, as the buffet was unexpectedly closed one evening due to a corporate event, and it seemed there weren't enough staff available to keep it running alongside the event. However this is on upper management. It took over 2 hours to receive room service one night. This is not on the staff, who were extremely apologetic and kind. Upper management needs to step it up and hire more individuals, instead of firing due to May not being the hotels “busy season”
The staff was amazing and the best part of my stay. I would like to shout out Lady, who worked poolside. She made my experience incredible! She really livened up the atmosphere, made me feel important, and welcome. She was absolutely incredible, kind, and overall awesome!
All of the bartenders at the main pool, and servers were incredible as well. As I said before, it was really the staff that made this experience so great. I would also like to shout out, Alex (by the pool bar) who created such a fun and great atmosphere!
There was not a single person without a warm smile on their face. Every staff member from the time we checked in, to the time we checked out was fantastic.
Everything was very clean and extremely well upkept. I did have a few issues with my room, the electrical socket was coming out of the wall featuring exposed wiring, and there was a socket at the same height as a table, making it completely inaccessible unless the table was completely moved out of the way. Not too much of an issue but definitely an inconvenience.

They try to entice you to buy a vacation package, reviews about are horrible, we didn’t buy it. Pool was very nice, basically 3 main pools, left was preferred club only, quiet pool, had nice tiki huts and hammocks over the pool. Middle pool had all the action…. And the food buffet was setup there. The 3 was also preferred club only was very modern and cool. Had the infinity edge pool. All 3 had a swim up bar.

Service was good but better when you got certain people. Special shout out to the young and hardworking Starlin who made our stay more enjoyable. Most of the food was great and the buffet had plenty of options. The beach could have been better due to the seaweed and the algae. The entertainment team was great. The room appeared as the pictures but the bathroom situation was awkward and not well thought out. The room could have been cleaner and the outside jacuzzi was not usable due to all the sap coming down from the wood. The whole porch was full of it. Overall 4 stars.

The resort is beautiful, maintained very well. Plenty to do… the one thing I will say is the staff here is incredible, from the bartenders, to wait staff.. house keepers and everyone in between. They literally treat you like family and are extremely appreciative to you and they all do a great job. I was particularly impressed with the house keeper I had for my weeks stay. She didn’t speak much English, but was smiling constantly….. and had such a good work ethic. It’s because of the friendly staff all around why I would come back. The only hiccup here is not anything to do with the resort, but I really think they should invest in their own airport transportation….. it’s an absolute nightmare using the third party service to and from the airport. Enjoyed my weeks stay here, some of the best people I have ever met in the world work here!

Im currently staying at the hotel. Food is good. Room is okay but I don’t like the shared door for toilet and shower. The door can’t close with the bathmat on the floor. The bathroom vent is not working, the smell comes out easily since the door can’t be closed properly. No one host their scheduled day time activities at the pool nor the beach. I called concierge and no one answer the phone.

Our room was spotless and comfortable, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. There were tons of food options, with something delicious for everyone. Best of all, there were tons of fun activities to keep the kids entertained every day. The resort is built for families... has an arcade for kids to play, has an Explorer's club where parents can drop off their kids if they need some adult-only time, family pools, water slides, lazy river, and many food choices. We upgraded to a Preferred option so we were assigned a Concierge as well which worked out perfectly. He made sure all of our needs and requests were taken care of.
It truly was the perfect all-inclusive getaway for the whole family.

While we really enjoyed our stay in February 2025 I do have a few suggestions.
1) For a kid friendly resort lunch options are limited for kids. The buffet is great but snack huts with chips, granola bars, etc would go a long way! Also would love to see chicken tenders and French fries added to the room service menu and maybe even a macaroni dish.
2) While I understand the need to spray for mosquitos, we were literally fogged on our way to dinner the first night. We do not like to subject ourselves to inhaling pesticides so maybe best to do this at night when most are asleep or early morning.
3) The lounge chairs and cabanas are showing their age and in my opinion are in need of replacement.
4) Map was very unhelpful as nothing is marked clearly and resort is huge. A golf cart tour upon arrival would have been great!
5) Lastly.for a family resort I suggest implementing smoking areas. My kids were bothered by the smoking that was allowed everywhere (pools, shows, etc).
Overall staff is friendly, food is good and housekeeping was amazing. We loved the nightly shows and our kids were always entertained by the daily activities!

Absolutely Lovely Stay!!
This place is truly happening! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. While there is a bit of a language barrier—most staff speak Spanish—they go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you need.
The resort has something for everyone. There are fun games for the kids, clean and comfortable rooms, and top-notch hospitality all around. Housekeeping was impeccable. The team at the pool is amazing—they play great music, organize fun activities, and bring so much energy to the place.
The food was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of options to choose from. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was delicious and well-prepared. The bars and clubs on-site were also fantastic—perfect for unwinding in the evening or dancing the night away.
We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, and I genuinely have no complaints. It’s now my all-time favorite place to stay whenever I’m in Punta Cana. You simply won’t feel bored here—it’s fun, lively, and full of good vibes from start to finish!

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend
I had an extremely disappointing stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill quickly. We had to wait over 4 hours to get our room, and the only compensation offered was a $5 bottle of wine—a joke, considering how much we paid for this resort.
Once we got to the room, the air conditioning was weak, the iron didn’t work, the TV had no volume, and the coffee machine was broken. The fridge barely kept anything cool, and worst of all, there was no hot water. For a resort that claims to be high-end, these issues are completely unacceptable.
The staff were incredibly rude and sarcastic, especially at the front desk. When we tried to raise concerns, we were met with eye-rolls and unhelpful attitudes. To make things worse, we were overcharged for a child in our group who obviously doesn’t consume alcohol, but there was no flexibility or understanding from management.
Speaking of management—completely incompetent. There was no sense of urgency to resolve any of the problems we faced, and no real accountability for the poor service.
This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but instead it was stressful and frustrating. I would not recommend Lopesan Costa Bávaro to anyone, and I suggest looking elsewhere if you value good service, functioning amenities, and respectful staff.

We had an amazing dinner at Gondola in Lopesan Costa Bávaro, thanks to our fantastic waiter, Ramon Valentin. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and made us feel truly cared for throughout the evening. The service was seamless—he anticipated our needs before we even asked. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Ramon’s warm personality and professionalism turned a great meal into a memorable experience. If you’re visiting the resort, don’t miss Gondola—and hope you get Ramon! He made our night extra special. Highly recommend.

Amazing Entertainment Team at Lopesan Punta Cana!
Our stay at Lopesan Punta Cana was incredible, and a big reason was the amazing entertainment staff—Greg, Kerry, Francisco, and Debora. They brought so much energy and fun every day, from pool games to dance parties and shows at the club. They made absolutely every individual feel welcomed.
Truly the heart of the resort, we can’t wait to come back!

Rating Lopesan a 3/5 from the perspective of a luxury 5-star resort expectation for a standard guest. All in all this was a good resort but you could get more value from your money comparing this to other not 5-star resorts in the same area that are exceptional. Rooms need serious repair work with almost all the ones we were assigned having some type of issue with water leakage or noise. Service for a 5-star resort is average everywhere except the restaurants/buffet where the service is great. There’s two great night shows, the rest are not worth sitting in the super hot theater without A/C or fans. Location is great since you’re the first to be picked up and dropped off for excursions with a lot of plazas around the area.

Blue Agave restaurant in the Paradisus Palma Real resort was outstanding. We were greeted by a friendly host with a smile on her face. Our server, Alexander was amazing (letting me know the enchiladas I ordered was a little spicy.). I ordered it anyway, and it was absolutely amazing. The supervisor, Milton, came to check on us frequently and was very friendly. My husband had the best chicken burrito he’s ever had in his life, and the dessert was to die for! We had excellent service above and beyond expectations at the poolside during our stay. Rosanna was our server for first 3 days and highly recommend asking for her! 5 stars!! We also had the best customer service by our concierge Kelvin. He went out of his way every single day to make our time at the Paradisus Palma Real amazing. We could go on and on about the beautiful grounds and amazing service at this resort. We loved the great variety of restaurants and tried them all. You can stay as busy with activities offered or as relaxed as you want in a cabana at the beach or pool. This trip is worth every penny!!

Alberto was our main server and ensured we lost track of time and simply enjoyed our vacation. but that whole crew was amazing! Not one server was lacking. Our family traveled at the end of May 2025 for one week and had a wonderful time. We were a group of 6 adults and two children. We had two deluxe rooms, one king and the other was two double beds and a sofa bed, overlooking the resort where the pool area is. We had one more deluxe King room overlooking the garden view which was nice and quiet. Rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean.
Staff overall was friendly, met us with smiles and a good time. We also did our share of tips which is important in these all inclusive hotels. Antonio the concierge and Luisa the hotel manager had done a great deal by accommodating our every need. They were very pleasant. Antonio sent us the activities for our family to enjoy each day and planned dinner reservations for us.
Shows were great in the evening. Kidsdom offered different activities for kids everyday, from cookie & pizza making, to flying kites and dance parties. They were very involved with the kids, and took good care of them by providing the necessary attention, if we wanted to enjoy a romantic couple's dinner together.
We did not have circle membership, however it seems as it was worth it to purchase to get extra perks such as better quality alcohol and services.
Overall highly recommend.

The best vacation I’ve been on. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and made my stay so much better. There was a wide variety of food with lots of entertainment as well. Every night they had a new show and they were so unique in their own way which gave me something to look forward to every night. Dora made my stay so amazing. She was so friendly and I was able to have personal conversations with her and by the end of my trip I was able to call her my friend. She is so bubbly and was so fun to be around. A huge highlight of our trip was the entertainment — 10/10! The entertainment team kept the energy high every day with fun activities, music, and events. A special shout out to Deimon — he was fantastic! Super friendly, full of energy, and made sure everyone was having a great time. He really helped make our experience unforgettable.
The evening shows were also incredible — different themes every night, great performances, and something fun for everyone. You could really tell how much effort went into making each show special.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Dreams Macao Beach is beautiful, welcoming, and packed with great experiences. We’ll definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

We had a wonderful time at Dreams Macao. Our butler Miguel was amazing. He answered all our questions and he was always available. Raul was our beach go to person and he was great. Carmen cleaned our room every day and she was amazing. This resort is beautiful and has become our favorite out of all the many resorts we have stayed at in Punta Cana over the years. The best experience I ever had in the Dominican Republic. This resort has a sexy night life then great family atmosphere during the day with two spray pools and a water park and lazy river .-hands down the beach is the best in punta Cana. No seaweed on our whole vacation (9days) is there waves yes but they break far out from the beach and trickle in . crystal clear waters. A lot of security on the beach makes you feel very safe.

My family and I met Roberto and he made our experience SO MUCH FUN! He really took the time to get to know us and even taught us about the Dominican culture! I had a great experience! The rooms were beautiful and the service was very great! The wait staff, butlers, and all the staff were very attentive and kind! The animation team (especially Manuel) made sure everyone had fun. It was a good balance of relaxing and fun. The evening shows were also very entertaining. The Michael Jackson and Circus shows were my personal favorite. They also have workshops you can do, like pottery making and jewelry making. I recommend the majestic mirage if you’re looking for both a fun and relaxing all inclusive in Punta Cana!

We had the BEST time at Majestic Mirage! The rooms are phenomenal! Very large, plenty of space! We ate at the Steakhouse, Italian, and hibachi restaurants. Every meal we had was so good! The entire resort is immaculate. Every bathroom, common space and pools were so clean. We kept commenting on how we hadn’t seen a piece of trash anywhere, ever! Our favorite part of our trip was most definitely the entertainment team. They add a personal touch making an effort to know and interact with every guest. They spent the day poolside laughing, dancing and leading everything from ping pong tournaments to water aerobics. Then, in the evening, this team put the most amazing shows every evening; so impressive! We will definitely be coming back to the Mirage. We loved every part of our time here!

Everything is amazing here. Swim up bar bartenders make things even better. So lively and friendly. Anytime you need something the staff are on top of it. Didn’t need to leave the resort except for a single excursion. Met some friendly couples that we shared dinner with. Food was great for an all inclusive, rooms were cleaned twice a day, weather was great everyday. Adults only was the cherry on top! Will be back again!!!!!!

Fantastic resort for a weeklong honeymoon. My wife and I were looking for a nice relaxing place to spend time away from work stress. Our butlers Houston & Armando were great, always ensuring we didn't need anything, and addressing any concerns we had with the room promptly. Elizabeth from the service staff was the best, mixes a great drink and always ensured we were hydrated throughout our stay. Last, but not least, Alex from the entertainment team was always engaging and even got us to do some activities while we tried to relax. Even though he didn't sneak us the winning bingo card, we had a great time.
Only reason I knocked off a star was for the amount of seaweed on the beach. It really made this more of a pool-only resort with an ocean view. The food was all-inclusive type of food, with some good restaurants, but if you're a foodie, all-inclusive isn't the right choice for you.
I would recommend this resort to any couple looking for an extended stay away or honeymoon trip.

It was an amazing experience. The little details are what make a trip special like the landscaping the housekeeping. The food was great. Lots of great activities to keep us busy. The pool cabanas were so comfortable. Our butler’s Alex and Jose l were the highlight of the trip. They decorated our room with rose petals, a banner, chocolate covered strawberries, and a little cake and champagne for my wife’s birthday.

Junior and Valentine were excellent and took great care of us. I have a tree nut allergy and all restaurants and food services too great care of us. A special memo went out to everywhere at the resort. In addition, the food was amazing everywhere and I felt safe eating. Alex, Jelly, Marcus, and the entire entertainment staff kept us busy and feeling engaged all day. We did aqua fit every day and it was wonderful.

BEAUTIFUL resort. We were there for a destination wedding. The resort did a fantastic job. The rehearsal dinner was great. Great food and fantastic service. As soon as your drink was empty, they placed another one in your hands. The food was delicious and plenty of options.
The beach wedding was very pretty. They had at least 3 weddings that evening and it was scheduled so none of them interfered with the other...good job. The wedding reception was also great. A lot of delicious food and the service was excellent. The DJ played one song after another for probably 2 hours. Great sound system and lighting. SO MUCH FUN.
The resort was BEAUTIFUL. Great pools and a beautiful beach. We did a lot of walking but the resort had plenty of carts to take you from your room to the lobby, restaurant, or pools. The resort restaurants were very good. We never had to wait long for a table. They numerous restaurant choices.
Over all we had, a wonderful, fun, relaxing week. Highly recommend this resort. Oh, they also have a great casino with PLENTY of games, craps, roulette, black jack, poker, and many more.

We travel annually to HRHPC as Legendary members, our most recent trip in March. Our butlers, Jesus and Jimmy are excellent taking care of anything we request. The staff at the Members (Sun) pool - Scoobie the concierge, Oscar and all the servers are so helpful. There are plenty of choices for food which is average but in most restaurants the servers and hosts are great - Ruth , Karina, Bobadilla, Christian and Jean Carlos at Toro - so friendly in a very busy restaurant. The golf course is convenient and in decent shape and staff friendly. The gym is large with adequate equipment and Hudson the manager is friendly and helpful. It was good to have more comfortable seating at the Sun pool this year. It would be appreciated if the pool was clearly marked for members only - the number of people who have to be told to leave could be easily avoided with some strategically located signs at the towel hut and pool entrances etc. Most guests have no idea it is for members only. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. It’s a great resort if you like walking as it is quite large but if you prefer you can hop a shuttle. The beach is clean and expansive. There is a fun waterpark and areas for kids.
Some minor maintenance isn’t addressed expediently (missing toilet seat in washrooms under 2A, handrail missing in 4B, TVs not working in gym cardio equipment, tub water pressure issues)
The people, the service, the amenities, the comfortable rooms and the beautiful weather will keep us coming back.

First of all the service is amazing. Unfortunately the food and beaches were not. Food was plentiful but never tasted fresh and when it did was tough and chewy (meats). Beaches had rough waves and seaweed everywhere. I will say the day we were checking out it looked its best. There is a lot for 18 year old to do because they can drink and gamble legally. This is literally a cruise ship on land because you won't be safe leaving the resort. Booze cruise was a joke. Couldn't drink on the boat for the first 30 minutes and then they bring you to hang out at the dirtiest water instead of clear blue. Don't waste your money. Rooms were nice but don't expect the AC to cool better than 76°. Rent a golf cart. It was pricey ($145 day) but made it so so much more convenient to not be waiting on shuttles. They make a lot of additional stops and could take you 30 minutes to get to the dining areas. Anyhow, we will not return here.

Kendry the Bartender Made Our Stay Amazing!
We had the pleasure of meeting Kendry, the bartender at The Excellent Punta Cana, and he truly made our vacation unforgettable! His cocktails were absolutely delicious, and he always crafted them with care and a big smile.
Kendry’s energy and friendliness made every evening at the bar a highlight of our trip. He took the time to remember our favorite drinks and even suggested new ones we loved. His attention to detail and commitment to making sure everyone had a great time was so impressive.
Thank you, Kendry, for making our stay so enjoyable! If you’re at The Excellent Punta Cana, don’t miss the chance to visit Kendry at the bar—you won’t be disappointed!

We had the absolute best time at Excellence in Punta Cana! All of the staff was so kind and intentional with our stay. Some names worth mentioning, Miguel Ramirez our concierge took care of absolutely everything we needed and wanted on this trip from booking every dinner reservation to setting up transportation for our scuba diving excursion. He was INCREDIBLE. Next, Adan our primary server for dinner made us feel so very special each night we dined with him taking care of us, wonderful hospitality. Raphael our waiter for our romantic beach dinner was exceptional. And last but certainly not least Hendrix our wonderful poolside waiter at the Excellence club pool. He was the best, not only providing us was wonderful service but with a smile and laugh with every conversation!

We can’t say enough great things about Francis at the Excellence Club bar — he is truly a phenomenal bartender and an absolute highlight of our stay. From the moment we met him, Francis brought unmatched energy, professionalism, and warmth to every interaction. His service was consistently impeccable, and it was clear he takes great pride in what he does.
What really stood out was the quality and consistency of his drinks. Whether it was a classic cocktail or something more creative, Francis nailed it every time. His attention to detail and ability to remember our preferences made us feel genuinely valued. We found ourselves seeking him out whenever we wanted a drink — that’s how much of a difference he made!
Beyond his technical skills, it’s his vibrant personality and high energy that made the bar feel like the place to be. Francis has a gift for connecting with people, and he made every visit to the bar feel fun, special, and personalized.

I had a great time at Excellence Punta Cana. Staff is very attentive. Michael was very helpful upon arrival and remembered my name when I was leaving. Iris looked out for me at breakfast at the Kitchen every morning. The staff is what makes this place amazing. It’s quiet and the perfect retreat for couples and solo trips. Only downside is that there is a bit of a wait for the restaurants and they do not have buffet at nights. Overall, just what I needed so 8/10.
