🇩🇴 All Inclusive Day Pass Review 🌴 I highly recommend getting a day pass to Grand Palladium Palace Resort ($90). From the moment you drive past the gate, you truly feel like you’re in a resort and very safe. The staff and service were incredible. Everything is conveniently set up so you’re not doing much walking from getting your towel, to going to the pool, to getting your food and going to the beach. The food was very fresh and tasteful unlike other resorts. The drinks were amazing with a great selection of mocktails too. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there even though it went by too fast! I would recommend getting there early to get a seat by the pool because it does get packed quickly.

The hotel is kept so clean and everything is beautiful. They really look for keeping the ground - especially the beach - clean. The bars are good and the food at the buffet restaurant is amazing! À la carte restaurant (bamboo) was completely disappointing. We waited 1 hour and 20 Minutes just to get the (cold!!) appetizers and then another 30 Minutes later the main course came but that wasn‘t good and a really small portion. If you want to find something negative about the hotel: the service. We had troubles with our room (junior suite) nearly everyday (missing electricity, water coming down from the room above..) and had to say something several times before they did something and helped. But a big big thank you to Anja Grimm as German service! She‘s the best. The acitivity team is very kind. Especially the archery class with Constantinos, Yuniel and Jesus was great fun!

We recently returned from a stay at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. While the weather was excellent and the property itself is beautiful with many amenities, unfortunately our overall experience with the resort was disappointing. Upon arrival, we waited more than two hours to check in. As Travelers Club guests, we expected a more efficient arrival process, especially since we were traveling with two small children (10 months and 3 years old). Our initial room had a lovely pool view; however, by the second day we noticed a strong moldy odor that made it unsuitable for our baby, so we requested a room change. The replacement room did not have the same pleasant view and was located at the back of the building. In addition, our bracelet keys consistently failed to work, and we ultimately had to rely on a standard key card just to access the room. The resort’s daycare center was another concern. We left our 3-year-old for one hour and observed that the staff provided minimal interaction with the children and primarily supervised them to prevent wandering. When we later stayed to observe, we witnessed what we felt was inappropriate staff behavior toward the children. After playtime, the children were told to clean up, which is understandable, but the staff member criticized the quality of their cleaning in an unrealistic manner for toddlers. We also found the facility itself to be unclean. Unfortunately, after returning home, our 10-month-old was diagnosed with hand, foot, and mouth disease, which raised further concerns about sanitation. Our family travels frequently — our 3-year-old has visited 20 countries and our 10-month-old 8 — and we have rarely encountered such poor service and disappointing childcare standards. While the resort grounds are attractive, the service and cleanliness issues significantly affected our stay.

Ohhh where to start…. 1. Rooms are terrible. Bathroom wall is TRANSPARENT. So everyone in the room can see you in the shower. Bed sheets smell of dump. Shower was built to create a flooding. 2. Attitude. The first three days we (two girls) were invisible. The bar staff ignored, not smiled to us and simply didn’t acknowledge our existence. Some American man had to tell the bar staff to treat me nice and take my order and since then they started being better to us. Don’t know what it was… 3. Only 4 restaurants available. Italian restaurant scared us as the tables were severely scratched and by the look of it we decided not to eat anything and left to the buffet. 4. Same lunch every single day. Our buffet was okay, but same options for 10 days and as someone who tried to eat healthy it was very hard to find exciting things. I ended up getting breakfast plates to the pool and eat it for lunch. 5. Entertainment is okay. There will be no information you can find, you have to somehow find out yourself where and what’s happening in the evening. We had to walk around some days for 20 min from one hotel to another trying to find some fun. There was an adult bar and I think in all 10 days only ones there was live music and a Dj. 6. Seaweed was bad but I don’t know how it’s possible to clean it all as the water was extremely dirty with seaweed. I added up not swimming for most of my days there Bcs it was impossible to be in the water. 7. I had upset stomach the whole time I was there. I think the privacy for me and the attitude of the staff was the biggest shock and as much as I always have fun at places I go, I think I would be careful recommending the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, everyone was very very nice. The pools were excellent. Our room service was fantastic. José Luis R did an incredible job keeping our fridge stocked, and made sure there was lots of water for us. José also put flower arrangements on our bed, making it a surprise every time we walked through the door. Jose also greeted us every time we met through the halls, he is a very kind and bubbly person. He made our stay and experience more enjoyable.
