We had a great stay over New Years. This is THE place to stay if you are visiting Universal, but you want to save a few bucks from staying on the theme park property. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the park entrance and there is a pedestrian bridge that goes over the highway, so it was very safe. They also have a Universal desk and they helped us print our park tickets and book a bus to Epic. If you are going to Epic, you need to make a reservation for the bus the day before you plan to go (and best to do it in the morning before you leave). The onsite restaurants are expensive and we didn’t eat at them. If you want to get breakfast before going to the parks, I would recommend door dashing chick fil a or something. Our room was very comfortable. I have chronic back issues, but slept great in the bed. There were issues with the elevator during our stay and we were on the 15th floor, but that was the only issue. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here the next time I go to Universal.

We stayed here recently due to the great location. I was surprised to find out upon arrival that 1 of 3 elevators were not working in the North Tower. Then on day 2 the 2nd elevator stopped working leaving us with 1 elevator and a conference in the hotel so it was very busy. Frequent comments by other current guests said that all the elevator buttons were punched so had to stop on all floors then the next day the elevator would not work. We were on L12 so we’re stressing that we would have to carry all our heavy suitcases down the stairs. It also was a huge waste of time waiting for the elevator to arrive and then could not get on because it was full. Several people were getting on even if it was going in the wrong direction to secure a place on the elevator when it eventually went in the correct direction. Also the shower pressure was very poor. If you want to hang your wet towel up, there is only 1 hook on the back of the bathroom door. Not enough working power sockets so had to use my power bank to charge my mobile phone next to my bed. In my opinion this hotel needs updating and regular elevator maintenance to prevent outages.

Stay here every year in January for our concerts at universal. This was first year we had a issue but boy was staff all over it quickly. I called front desk about ac not working properly and within minutes maintenance was there fixing it. He was quick and within minutes done. Everyone was very friendly. Thank you for making our stays here every year awesome

Nice rooms and great location, if you can get a higher floor the views are spectacular. This property is an older property, listed online as being built in 1974, however, they have done a great job with renovations and making it modern. I was here for three nights for a business meeting. My room was crisp, cool and smelled great. The elevators are fast Definitely be aware of the parking charge, $33 plus tax per night Restaurants within walking distance from the hotel include Miller's, KPot, Kobe, and Burger King

This was such a beautiful hotel. If you’re traveling to Universal Studios definitely stay here! Very close to many attractions and restaurants. There’s also a ginormous heated pool and a hot tub which was a huge plus. BIG SHOUT OUT TO MORGAN. She works the front desk & was so helpful, patient, kind, and accommodating. She gave the best customer service I’ve ever received from any hotel.
