I really enjoyed my stay at the Civilian. The staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms are really clean. There’s a lot of cool touches to the rooms like a steamer and a safe in a drawer under the bed. The two sets of blinds are controlled by a switch, super rad. The bathroom in the basement is really cool. Loved the theme! The sensors to the front doors are really nice, especially if you’re a germ-a-phobe. The location is prime - close to Times Square, subway stations and yummy food.

Super great hotel in perfect location. Spent a night here to see a show and enjoy a day around the city. Room is “cozy” as advertised but nicely appointed, chic decor, and pairing with hotel app makes check-in/checkout super easy. Staff was very friendly. Drinks on the rooftop after seeing a show were the perfect way to cap off the evening. Definitely recommend!

By far one of my best stays. The view, the service, the location, the bar, events, restaurant were top notch! The room was a perfect size; it had everything you needed and was very cozy and clean. I would recommend everyone to stay here. On top of this, they offer extra services (like ironing, have extra adapters, roomservice/ daily cleaning) and are genuinely very friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed here with my mum for four nights and loved it! The room is a little small but the view was incredible and definitely made up for the small space! The team was super friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Aside from being a beautiful hotel, its location is perfect! It’s less than a 5 minute walk to Times Square and Broadway, and it is easy to get to anywhere in New York from this location. I can only recommend staying here!

Civilian Hotel is my home away from home. The Starlight rooftop bar is a great spot to end a busy day with a cocktail & 270 degree city views. The staff is always super helpful and pleasant. The management team is top notch and you can tell they take great pride in providing 5 star service without exception. Thanks Carlos and staff for a wonderful experience
