I had been eagerly looking forward to my upcoming stay at this resort, having booked three rooms at a discounted rate for an upcoming conference. However, after a frustrating experience with the booking process and customer service, I made the decision to cancel all three reservations. The confirmations for the rooms had unfortunately landed in my junk mail, leading to a delayed realization that modifications were necessary. When I attempted to adjust the reservations to add an extra night for myself and correct the dates for my colleagues, the resort's inflexibility and lack of accommodation were disheartening. The resort refused to honor the original room rate due to it being outside the booking window. Despite my willingness to cover the price increase for an additional night for myself, they insisted that I would also have to pay the full rate for my colleagues to switch from Monday/Tuesday to Tuesday/Wednesday. Additionally, I was told they would have to switch rooms during their stay, which I found to be an inconvenience and poor customer service. Regrettably, due to the unsatisfactory handling of the situation and the lack of flexibility from the resort, I have canceled all three reservations. As a customer who values transparency and fair treatment, the overall booking experience has left me disappointed. I hope that the resort considers reevaluating its approaches to customer service to ensure a more positive and seamless experience for future guests. Clear communication and flexibility in handling reservation modifications are essential aspects that were lacking in this instance. While I did not have the opportunity to stay at the resort, I hope that this feedback contributes to improvements in the booking process and customer experience for others.

The reviews were 50/50...so I gave it a try. Overall, we checked in and straight back out. Only PRO: The receptionist was really great! Old building and unsafe hallway, & the elevator shakes. In the tower, there was a carpet outside. You could smell the mold. While using the elevator on the way down, we heard the people beside us whisper. I can't wait to leave this place. They just checked in. The room was alright.

The front desk staff does need to brush up on guest service training. The Hotel has more rules than a middle school and for the prices they are charging the accommodations should match. It’s in a good location, pool area is great and that experience is what made the rest forgettable. I had a good time but will not be a choice for me in the future.

Came here on vacation with my boyfriend. The rooms are pretty gross. Our room had black marks on the wall, stains on the curtains, very thin doors, definitely giving motel vibes. The pool is big but it was pretty cold even during the summer. The hot tub was nice, along with the bartenders. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating, however the rooms need to be updated. It is close to universal and has a shuttle. We still had a good time but probably would not stay here again.

I had a very nice stay here, i will say in the beginning before i came i was a little bit skeptical because of the reviews but i came to realize that most of them are not true, do not always believe reviews. First impression this place is beautiful, front desk staff was super nice and helpful, to avoid early check in fee i was told to wait until 1pm which i did and we got checked in pretty quickly which was great. We stayed in the king superior tower the outside is clean and very nice, they even have a cafe & a gym in that building as well which was perfect. (p.s the water bottles are not $5 the prices in the cafe are actually pretty affordable for a resort)(one recommendation for the gym is to have some dumbbells and it will be perfect) The room we stayed in was super clean, we had a perfect view of volcano bay, beds are super comfortable, they have black out curtains which is super good. The sink area was also clean i liked the design of it very modern as well as the bedroom. One thing i will say the bathroom is a little bit outdated its just a tub and a toilet super clean though, just wish it was a little more modern but overall great hot water and clean bathroom. The pool area was very clean, lots of sitting area with shades and pool towels with a bar to drink. Although the pool was super clean i will say the bottom floor does feel a little bit sandy but that did not bother me. Another great thing about this resort is the complimentary shuttle to the parks & they have express checkout by the elevators so you don’t have to go all the way to the front desk. A few more great things they have an arcade that is affordable as well & a restaurant which is great for people who may not want to eat out. The area is great lots of food, stores, and activities to do walking distance. Overall great stay, beautiful hotel definitely recommend staying here. Piece of advice don’t always listen to the bad reviews some people just go overboard because of something so small that isn’t a big deal.
