What I appreciated most about this hotel was its excellent location. It is only five minutes from Universal Studios and surrounded by numerous shopping centers, restaurants, and gift shops. Whether turning left or right from the property, there were plenty of options within walking distance, which was very convenient. Parking was also plentiful and easily accessible. Inside the room, the air-conditioning worked consistently well, there was always hot water, and fresh towels were provided daily, which I found to be a positive aspect of my stay. However, there were several downsides. While the elevator and staircase were not excessively dirty, they were not well-maintained and could use more frequent cleaning. The property overall looked outdated, almost as if it had once been an apartment complex converted into a hotel. Although my room was spacious, I did not feel comfortable enough to walk barefoot, which is unusual for me during hotel stays. The floor and walls did not feel clean, and I even noticed mold on the wall. The in-room phone had buttons that barely worked, and when I tried calling the hotel from my personal phone, I was placed on hold for over an hour. Only calls made directly from the room phone were answered promptly. Additionally, I requested housekeeping service, but when I returned, the room had not been cleaned. Instead, housekeeping left fresh sheets for me to change myself, which I found unacceptable. The television remote was outdated and did not function properly. Overall, it seemed as though most of the hotel’s effort and investment went into the lobby’s appearance, while the actual rooms and hallways were neglected. The carpets in the hallways were especially dirty and in need of thorough cleaning. In summary, I would only recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers looking for a short overnight stay or a quick stopover. For longer stays or those seeking comfort, cleanliness, and reliable service, I would not recommend this property.

The photos advertised for this property are incredibly misleading. The room looked nothing like what was shown online—more reminiscent of a Super 8 Motel than a resort. I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Upon arrival, the remote control was missing, and it took far too long for the staff to bring a replacement. One of the light fixtures didn’t work, the air conditioner was both loud and leaking, and there was no comforter on the bed. The bathroom was far from clean—especially the floors—and the toilet was leaking with brown residue around its base. I had to put towels down to walk around, and they ended up stained. The entire room’s floor was dirty and clearly needed a proper bleach mopping. To make things worse, our room was never cleaned during our stay, even after we called to report these problems. The only response we got was a delivery of fresh towels, which felt completely inadequate given the condition of the room. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were well below any acceptable standard. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The only redeeming quality is its location, which is likely the only reason guests book here. I truly regret staying at this property and wish I could get my money back.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms were great but my only complaint is that our door lock didn't work but we just parked our scooters by the adjoining door and the entrance door. My sister's first room television didn't work and they had to switch her out. But they did all this with pleasant understanding. Would we stay there again? Most definitely. The location was good to Universal Studios. We were able to ride our scooters to the park.

This resort looks nothing like the pictures, so don't be fooled. The inside lobby is nice, but the rooms are not as they seem. The bathrooms need to be renovated. Our bathroom had an old tub that needed to be replaced. I had caulk all around it, and the floors needed to be deep cleaned. Housekeeping does not clean your rooms daily like any other normal resort or hotel. You have to give them a 24-hour notice for them to clean and take out the trash. I had to take out our trash, and when housekeeping did come in to clean, they only replaced the towels and washcloths. Our beds weren't made at all. It is also supposed to be quiet time between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am. I was awakened to loud kids at 4 am. Overall, this resort is overrated and overpriced.

Come for the Lobby, Stay for the Regret — I Want My Money Back! We’re still checked in — lucky us — but trust me, I’m counting the minutes until I can escape. I’m writing this now so you don’t get suckered like I did. I work my tail off and haven’t had a real vacation in ages, so I thought, “Why not treat myself? Let’s book the ‘nice’ hotel — the photos look amazing!” Well, plot twist: the photos lie better than my ex. I’ll give them this: the lobby is cute. You’ll feel fancy for about five minutes while you check in and wonder where your money just went. The pool? Also decent — so if you plan to live in it 24/7 to avoid your depressing room, you’ll survive. But the actual room? Picture Motel 6… but wish you were at Motel 6 instead. The view? If you love staring at disappointment, then congratulations — you’re in for a treat. Honestly, this was supposed to be a relaxing escape. Instead, I’m sitting here writing a review begging you to run far, far away. I want my money back — every penny. So here’s my final tip: if you’re thinking about booking this place, do yourself a favor — book literally anywhere else. Spend the night in your car. Pitch a tent. Sleep in the lobby — it’s the nicest part anyway. You’re welcome.
