The layout of the queen deluxe room was great. Each bed had a nightstand on each side of the bed, which is very unusual, but I’m loving it. There’s no carpet in the rooms, which is a huge plus! The hotel is smaller than the others and therefore was easier to get around, and no waiting forever for an elevator. Food at Urban Pantry was excellent! The rooftop bar was so much fun, and the staff/servers were great. This is our new favorite Universal hotel. We do several “staycations” a year at Universal and this resort was quiet and clean.

Simple, no frills but nice hotel. Definitely in the 3 star category. That said, everything was clean including the room and the pool. Pool was actually very nice. The rooftop bar is pretty nice too. Prices for the drinks were outlandish. Two margaritas and tip cost me over $50. It was a very quiet hotel which some folks might like. But it was almost too quiet. All in all, not bad but don't think I'll come back.

We stayed at this resort to go to the Universal Parks. We did not have kids with us, and we thought that Aventura resort was perfect for that since it doesn't have much character theming but has a very nice rooftop bar with a great view of Orlando. The pool area was very nice and not crowded. We could walk to the water taxi as well as get the bus to the theme parks. We also walk to City Walk in 15 minutes. The staff were all wonderful and the resort is very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We have NOTHING but rave reviews about this hotel. From the front desk staff to the servers, every single staff member delivered exceptional customer service. 17/10 in our books. They were able to accommodate my gluten sensitivity and make off-property recommendations. Everything was so clean. And the shuttles were on-time or early every time. We loved being able to stay in a hotel that’s more accommodating towards adults. As a long-time hospitality industry professional, it was a master class in service and professionalism. We’ll be booking this hotel for all our future stays.

We had a great stay here! Christina at the front desk was pleasant and helpful! The room was clean and had a cool view of Volcano Bay at Cabana Bay. You can take a bus or the Sapphire Falls boat to the Island of Adventure/Studios, and theres about a 10-15 minute bus ride to Epic. Great location! Everything in the room is controlled by a tablet. The tv, lights, AC, room service/needs everything. It was strange to adjust to, but ultimately I liked it. The Urban Pantry in the lobby has lots of options, both grab-and-go, and made-to-order. Theres also a starbucks, as well as a bar! The bistro/rooftop bar has great food and really cool views of the parks and Orlando in general! The parking garage was also a nice touch! While the prices were astronomical to park there, we appreciated the covered, more-secure area for the car.
