The practicality of Relay the robot was inadequate, we requested towels for our bathroom and were left waiting 1hr and 50min and still no towels. Luckily house keeping was outside our room and we were able to ask them for spare towels. I found all 3 "Relay" robots to be either lost throughout the hotel serving no purpose, telling jokes (again serving no purpose) or all to be idle, charging behind front desk. The whole robot thing was completely pointless, and did nothing as far as real service. The availability and accessibility of the Bar17 Bistro needs work. We wanted to attend the bar last night around 12:07 and the elevator had no access to the rooftop bar and going to the lobby for the express elevator didn’t take us to the rooftop bar either. This is an issue that needs to be addressed on how the availability of the bars access and how the elevator communicate to allow access to said bar work in cohesion. The elevators are constantly overcrowded, and you are always waiting to get up to your room. I found this extremely discouraging staying here. Take my advice, and just get a low level floor. It was a real pain dealing with that everyday. The rooms are very small and a/c wasn't cold... The resort pool is also very small which was disappointing to say the least. The food court is your typical price gouging experience, lots of options but not worth the price. We would leave the property to eat. Honestly, we won't stay here again.. it just isn't worth it. Cabana Bay across the street with similar pricing is def a better value and experience.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The service is amazing, we came for my boyfriend’s birthday trip and they went above and beyond to make it special. I had a small issue with checking in (my fault) and the front desk lady with orange hair helped me so sweetly to fix it. Sophia at the pizza counter is so sweet!. The rooms are stunning, super sleek and clean. The rooftop bar is stunning, Starbucks coffee is really good too. Such an enjoyable experience, will be staying here every time we come to universal / Disney.

The view is the only thing that I adore about this hotel. It also shuttles to city walk/universal. Rooftop bar: I was excited, but once we went up it was an overcrowded nightclub atmosphere that killed the whole experience. Such a spectacular view over Orlando city and theme parks with Disney fireworks that was difficult to enjoy with people acting as if it were a Vegas casino. Room: small, ac didn’t work and it smelled musty(they did fix it, but smell lingered) linens are cheap quality and towels were like sand paper. The view from the room was wonderful from the 8th floor. Drinks were well made, bartenders wonderful. Front desk left a lot to desire. Pool was small but appeared clean. Starbucks inside and a small gift shop. Hotel was clean, mostly, but not being up kept. A good place if you’re not spending time around the hotel. Perfect view and great short transportation to the universal area.

The hot tub and pool were nice. My wife and I enjoyed the amenities. Staff were friendly. There were only a few downsides which knocked a star for them. The tablet wasn't fun to utilize and while there, it said we weren't checked in which meant we had to order food via phone. We tried the pizza and it was very good and honestly priced well considering the area. $5 bottle soda was a bit depressing. Also for the cost, they can't equip the rooms with microwaves? Pro tip, don't request a higher floor. We requested one and they put us on the second floor, the lowest floor possible with a great view of the parking garage 🤣

The Aventura is always a great option when traveling to spend time at Universal. The Bistro 17 is a really nice place to unwind, and the amenities and. Service are top notch. I di, however, I think that the rooms could use some modifications. On our last trip, we booked a Skyline view room for 3 adults and 1 youth. My main complaint about the room is lack of privacy in the vestibule area. The panels separating the sleeping area from the veritable offer no privacy, as they are split panels and some glass. This forces you to have to take the bathroom if you need to change and need privacy so others are not able to use it The rooms are pretty small already, so thus really makes getting ready an inconvenience. The other thing I would change is to replace the tablet situated on the main counter and move it to the desk between the beds. This makes it more convenient to access and charge when you are in bed, which is where you normally would be using the control. If I'm already up, I might as well turn on or off the lights manually and not use the remote. Finally, if you expect to stay in a larger room just because you booked a Skyline view, make sure prior to booking, since we made that assumption as last time, the room included a king size bed, so I believe they are the corner rooms on the floor. These rooms are larger mad nicer. The 2 queen bed rooms, ironically, are the smallest. So check that before booking Skyline queen bed rooms; the view is great, but rooms are tiny. Other than that, the Aventura resort is a great place to stay while visiting Universal parks.
