From start to finish, the care, professionalism, and attention to detail made this trip one for the memory books. We upgraded to a premium Castle room, and José, the manager, made the process effortless and welcoming. The room was stunning — sweeping ocean views, a private plunge pool, a beautiful jacuzzi bath, and a spacious, immaculate layout. Amelio, our butler, took wonderful care of us throughout our stay with warmth and consistency. Every day was elevated by the staff: • Glory, selecting the best passion fruit each morning • Chefs preparing custom omelets with care • Thoughtful touches like flowers on the table by Aleksander and team • Fun, attentive service at dinner from staff like Roberto • And an unforgettable chef’s tasting dinner prepared by Chef Marc Serrano, beautifully presented and explained by Carlos, the sommelier — an absolute highlight The food was outstanding, the service genuine, and the experience deeply relaxing. You can feel that the team takes pride in their work and truly cares about the people they serve. Stop looking — Sanctuary Cap Cana is the place to be.

We chose this luxury resort to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary after doing a lot of research. Before coming, we saw a few reviews that made us a little uncertain, but we decided to experience it ourselves — and we’re glad we did! This resort is adults-only, which makes it a perfect place for couples who just want peace, quiet, and relaxation. The staff are very friendly, and the food is overall good. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to have some small evening shows or live music — it would make the nights even more enjoyable. We also loved spending time at the pool bar, sipping cocktails and just unwinding. I especially recommend the Asian restaurant — the food and service were both excellent. If you’d like to receive a bit of extra attention, leaving a small tip goes a long way. We truly enjoyed our 4-night, 5-day stay here. Also, I highly recommend joining a local tour. It costs around $50 per person and makes for a fun and fulfilling day. Just keep in mind that the resort photos online look a bit more glamorous than reality — so try to come with an open mind. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this resort!

I got there for late check in as I was coming late into punta Cana. The location is 20 min from the airport. There are two checkpoints every time you go in and out of the resort. They make sure to check every name and room number. I know it is for the safety or security but I didn’t like that. The vibe is chill so expect the service to be late. The water was bit muddy when I visited. I did like the crowd but it is more couples so don’t go solo :) the food was average or bit above. It is nice place and I would go back to with my friends to enjoy it.

If I could give this resort 6 stars instead of 5, I would. The attention to detail, the service, the food, the rooms are all spectacular. My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at this lovely resort. Our guests did nothing but rave about their stays and we had over 100 guests. When it came to planning our wedding, their wedding team went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. They were so accommodating and communicative that it made stressful situations, like a tropical storm, easier to navigate with their unrelenting support. I would recommend this resort 1000 times over and we simply can't wait to visit again. Some recommendations: I recommend staying in the castle for the butler service because they help with reservations to some of the restaurants and keep you updated on events. The events they have daily and nightly are thoughtfully put-together and are great to participate in. Keep in mind that different restaurants are open on different nights. If you don't stay in the castle, they have an app through Marriott that makes it easy to keep track of all the events happening! Happy travels!

We came to this resort with very high expectations based on the excellent reviews and photos, which made it look absolutely amazing. Overall, our stay was good, but for the price point (over $700 per night), it didn’t fully live up to what we expected from a luxury all-inclusive. Service The service was one of the highlights. We were assigned a personal butler who was very responsive, helpful, and resourceful, which definitely elevated the experience. Food & Dining Unfortunately, the food was pretty underwhelming for the price. While there were multiple dining options, the quality didn’t match what you’d expect at this level. The Wok restaurant was not great, Il Capriccio was probably the best of the bunch, and while the buffet had a wide selection, the overall food quality was just average. For a luxury all-inclusive, this was disappointing. Beach The beach was honestly one of the biggest letdowns. It’s a small, enclosed area with a very rocky entrance, and swimming is limited due to buoy lines that prevent you from going out further. It didn’t feel like the relaxing Caribbean beach experience we were hoping for. Pools & Seating The pool area was chaotic. If you didn’t get there before 10am, almost all the beach chairs were taken. Many guests would reserve chairs early by leaving items on them and not return for hours, making it very frustrating if you wanted to relax later in the morning. Drinks & Entertainment Drinks were good overall, and there was a decent amount of daily events and entertainment, which helped keep things interesting during the stay. Spa The spa was good, but again, not exceptional. Given how much we paid, we expected a much more elevated, standout spa experience. All-Inclusive Value One concerning trend was that more restaurants are becoming non–all-inclusive, which really defeats the purpose of choosing an all-inclusive resort, especially at this price point. Overall This is a nice resort with great service and some strong points, but for the cost, we expected a more consistently luxurious experience, especially when it came to food, beach quality, and overall value. With some improvements, it could truly match the hype, but as it stands, it falls a bit short of the price tag.
