I had an unforgettable stay at Sanctuary Cap Cana! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—every staff member was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself is spotless—everything was sparkling clean and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere is both luxurious and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. The food was truly amazing! There are different restaurants on the property, and every single one served delicious meals with outstanding variety and quality. No matter where we dined, the experience was top-notch. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for excellent service, fantastic food, and a breathtaking setting. Can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time to the Punta Cana and we are so glad to have stayed at The Sanctuary! First off, the staff was AMAZING! Every staff member was kind and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Christian was such a wonderful bartender. He was fun, polite and so enjoyable to be around. Also, Emmanuel at the pool area really took care of us and made sure we had a great spot by the pool. David was such a wonderful assistant to the villas we stayed in. I wish I could remember the names of everyone else, because there were SO many kind staff members. We also loved the food and felt like it was authentic to the area and prepared well. We stayed in the villas near the beach and pool area and it was amazing! Everything was so clean. It was about a 20 minute drive from the airport and we never really had much traffic. We definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to go to PC!

5 stars all around, although the rooms were disappointing. More on that later. Let’s start with the stuff that has made a long lasting impact Spent 10 nights here for our honeymoon and had an absolute blast! Our butler, JT was amazing and we were sad to leave him. All I wanted to do was lay by the pool and have amazing views and good food and drinks and this is definitely the place for that. Every day, we had our perfect spot set up by the most perfect person we met the whole trip FELIX!!!!! (Pictured below) Yall when I tell you meeting Felix (EL GATO) was the highlight of our trip I really mean it. We ended up really getting to know Felix and I looked forward to seeing his face every morning and chatting with him. He has an amazing story and he’s absolutely hilarious. We actually got emotional leaving Felix! He treated us so well and he made every day just perfect for us. Literally want to come back just to see him again!!!! Other amazing wait staff include Omar by the pool, he took fantastic care of us and always remembered us the next days and just was a delight. Victor, one of the servers, is just the most sweet and precious people on this earth and he’s HILARIOUS. We loved getting to see victor at the Wok restaurant and then again at breakfast, he is a true gem. Love you Victor!!!! I cannot say enough good stuff about the food, it was all incredibly delicious and always something you’d want to have. My only complaint is that the sanctuary town is not open for lunch, so lunch options are really limited which is a bummer. The Beach area is small but not too bad, and the views from there are still pretty. We just didn’t spend tons of time at the beach. The destination bar has great drinks, and the main pool bar is always exciting and the bartenders are great there. One negative is that the ladies in the “love” bar are not very friendly, and often are pretty standoffish so I didn’t particularly love that it’s the main bar. The rooms were pretty, but I didn’t feel like they were ever very clean. I also got bit by something in the middle of the night which swelled up and blistered which was not great but I guess that can happen anywhere. It just felt like housekeeping didn’t do much to actually clean. Also, the curtains controlled with the remote rarely worked and you had to open them manually which was kind of a pain. Overall, I would still love to come back and spend time here again. It’s the perfect mix of relaxing + sometimes rowdy but there’s tons of space to find whatever you need.

Sanctuary is a MUST STAY if you are going to the Dominican Republic. The food is incredible, the service is top tier and the amenities and grounds are stunning. It is the perfect stay for a honeymoon, anniversary, girls/guys trip. Really a lovely property, clean, quiet, peaceful. We stayed in the beach walk out room, which was literally steps away from the beach, pool, outdoor activities and a short walk to the restaurants. It was perfect to have easy access to the room when you wanted to take a break from the sun through the day. I was a bit worried that since it was all inclusive the food would be mediocre, but the food was excellent and they do have upgraded food as an option if you have a fancier taste. However, the included food was incredible and didn't have any need or desired things that weren't included. We will absolutely stay here again and again, I cannot say enough about how awesome this place is.

We stayed at Sanctuary Cap Cana for 4 nights. Loved that it was adults only. Food was quite good everywhere. Lots of variety at the buffet. Steakhouse was the best in our opinion as they always cooked to the requested temperature while the other restaurants would overcook fish and meat. Not a major issue but it is an expensive resort so, our expectations were matching the price. The resort is beautiful and we never had any problem finding chairs by the pool and in the shades. Rooms are very spacious. Very quiet. We had a wonderful time.
