This was a very disappointing stay overall. The biggest issue by far was the food. It was consistently bad and almost always cold. This happened at every single meal: breakfast, lunch, snacks, bar food (including burgers), and dinner. No matter where or when we ate, the food was cold and poorly prepared. The only decent meal we had was at the Italian restaurant, but even that experience was frustrating because we were given incorrect information on how to make the reservation, which caused unnecessary confusion. Another major issue was the service. The staff was not friendly, which was surprising considering how warm and welcoming people usually are in the Dominican Republic. Even after tipping, service did not improve. Orders were constantly late, incorrect, or never arrived at all. Many times we ordered items that simply never showed up. At the buffet and self-serve areas, basic items were always missing. There were no plates, no forks, no cups, and no mugs for coffee. This happened repeatedly and made every meal frustrating. Our room also had problems. The air conditioning barely worked, the fridge did not cool properly, and housekeeping was unreliable. Our room had not been cleaned by 4 p.m., and we had to call to request service. Even then, it was not handled promptly. The only positive things about this resort were the ice cream shop, which was nice, and the water park area, which the kids enjoyed. Unfortunately, those positives do not make up for the poor food quality and lack of service. For a resort at this price point and with the Nickelodeon name, the experience was far below expectations. We would not return or recommend this hotel.

This resort is an absolute disaster and one of the worst “luxury” experiences I’ve ever had. Calling this place a resort is generous. The entire experience feels like a poorly organized scam, closer to the Fyre Festival than a family vacation. The food is consistently cold and genuinely awful. Room service takes an hour and a half, and when it finally arrives, it’s barely edible. The menus promise variety, but in reality, almost nothing actually exists. No matter where you go, the only things they seem capable of serving are chicken nuggets and terrible pizza. Everything else on the menu is either “not available,” “not possible,” or they simply refuse to make it. Getting restaurant reservations is a nightmare. Fresco, for example, is supposedly a taco restaurant. Every single time we went, we were told they “don’t have any meat to make tacos.” At a taco restaurant. At an all-inclusive resort. This wasn’t a one-off issue; it’s clearly the norm. Transportation around the resort is another joke. They have golf carts that are supposed to take you places, but they regularly take 20+ minutes to arrive. When you ask why it’s taking so long, staff laugh and say it’s “Dominican time” and that “5 minutes can mean 20 minutes.” That might be meant as a joke, but when you’re waiting with kids in the heat, it’s not funny at all. It’s just poor service and zero accountability. The service overall is terrible. Staff are largely unreachable unless they are trying to sell you their prestige package. That’s the only time anyone is attentive, responsive, or eager to help. But who would ever spend more money when the basic experience is already so bad? The only mildly positive thing about this place is the water park. It’s fun, but chaotic and poorly managed, and once again the food options there are limited to chicken and pizza. Items listed on the menu, like wraps, are simply “not possible” when you ask for them. This resort massively overpromises and completely underdelivers. Between the cold food, nonexistent menu items, slow and dismissive service, transportation delays, and constant upselling, this place is a huge disappointment. Do yourself a favor and don’t make the same mistake I did by choosing this resort.

Such a wonderful place! Luis was amazing at the swim up bar by the beach. He remembered our drinks everyday and made them perfectly! There’s lots to do at the resort. Everyone was nice and the food was delicious. Highly recommend! They made my god daughter’s 13th birthday special and she will remember it forever.

Our stay here did not meet our expectations but we made the best of it and had fun - how can you not in DR. The rooms were large but not neatly maintained/ updated borderline dingy. The sofabed was large and appropriately done up for the kids to sleep on and it is nice to share a room and not be forced into a suite or adjacent room as a family of 5. There was a giant plastic blimp in the middle of the room that served zero purpose and about the only nickelodeon centric decor seen aside from random orange. The Orlando hotel does a much better job of character/theme rooms. We had to ask for a replacement fridge as it didn't work, the door to the toilet stayed neither open or closed , we had to ask for a stool so my children could reach the bathroom sink to wash their hands Everything is an add on -Character Breakfast, Family Slime, Cabanas etc that then pulls you into a member (timeshare meeting) that we have zero interest in. There is strict schedules for seeing/getting pics with characters most actual things for the kids are on the other side of the resort that requires a trolly ride Dining is not kid friendly there isn't even plastic dishware for them to use which is something we have consistently seen and used at other family resorts. To top it off there was feces in the junglegym of the water park that took a ridiculous amount of time to be addressed and cleaned up after notifying different staff members My children acquired Coxsackie (Hand foot mouth) disease from this facility, which they have never had before not even in school, daycare or their swim school. I also did not appreciate being solicited to write a Google Review by a staff member while at the water park and to stand over me to watch me write as it felt pressured and obviously dishonest. The main infinity pool and beach were enjoyable we ended up spending more time there than AquaNick esp after that poop experience They do not serve Presidente which is kind of absurd considering it is THE beer of the country. The food was subpar, but Wok Wok and Spacewalker were the better options. The Bartender in the courtyard during dinner /evening time made delicious drinks. The IceCream bar was great. We've honestly had better overall service and a more family friendly fun at other resorts in Punta Cana that also have water parks and kid play areas. Here they ride the wave of being a known name/Brand but are really lacking in terms of facilities, cleanliness and a kid friendly and family inclusive experience Honorable mentions: Jorge from Concierge Orlando from Fresco Marialy Housekeeping in Building 2 Almanzar at Breakfast Buffet The woman at the IceCream Bar They were delightful, helpful and provided top tier customer service

We just stayed at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana as a family and overall had a great time. What we loved: The waterpark is a huge win for both kids and adults. The resort is well maintained and clearly designed to cater to families while still feeling comfortable for adults. The staff were consistently friendly across the board (concierge, restaurants, Sweetery, everyone). People said hello as we walked by and were genuinely welcoming. They also respected our dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated. The buffet had lots of good options, and room service was surprisingly fast. What could be better: Check in and check out felt chaotic and took a long time. Also, the music at the kids waterpark wasn’t appropriate for a kids area, and a few tracks even had curse words. I’d rather share that feedback directly, but I tried emailing before and never got a response, so I’m noting it here in hopes it reaches the team. One other thing: the swim up suite bathroom design was awkward for families. The shampoo and soap are only in the shower room and are locked in place, so when bathing kids in the tub we had to keep going back and forth. It would help if they left some bottles near the tub area too. The pools were beautiful, large, and facing the ocean but the water was unusually cold, even in the heat. Our kids started shivering, so we didn’t spend much time in the pools. The ocean itself was nice and warm, but the waves were rough for small children, so we mostly stuck to the waterpark area. Despite a few issues, we had a great trip and hope to return one day.
