Overall we had a great stay for a quick weekend trip. We went to three different pools which were great. The pool with the lazy river was great but was real shallow. You need to pay for a pass to be able to use the tubes which you want for the lazy river. The pool itself was nice and has a nice shallow area for the toddlers and kids. The main pool at the Waters Edge was great. Good food and drinks are right there. They also have a retractable screen to play movies by the pool. The hot tubs were at 104 degrees which was perfect. Plenty of options for food and drinks. All pools except one close at 10pm. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was plenty of space. The room has a washer and dryer which came in handy to dry the swim suits. If you’re staying for a week, the fully equipped kitchen will be great if you don’t want to eat out everyday. The beds were firm but comfortable for us as we like them firm. Plenty of pillows as well. We did have a couple gripes. If you’re checking in anytime between 4-7 be prepared to wait. We waited 40 minutes in line before we even got to the counter. There’s no dedicated member check in even just for platinum members. After you check in you still have to see someone else to get your keys and bracelets to use the amenities. But also this is a way to get them to book a tour to sign up for a timeshare style membership. It was over an hour process to check in which is honestly ridiculous. They charge $75 if you don’t show up for the tour. We said screw it we’ll do the tour to get a free week of stay in the off season. But the issue was it was down pouring and we were sent to the wrong building for the tour. We didn’t want to waste more time getting soaked. So they refunded the $75 which was generous.

Great place for families! Kids loved the pools and lazy river! The bungalow was great! We had a full house with 8 of us and we had plenty of room! Great location and you can take back roads to Disney etc. The gym was decent too! Also book a pool cabana!! Nice to have a spot out of the sun & there's a TV & fridge too!

Absolutely worst hotel/resort experience and I have travelled to many places. I never leave bad reviews but it was one thing after another and I’m so disappointed. At check in were convinced to take a 90min “tour” of the resort and we would receive activity credits. The communication regarding this tour was inaccurate including the length of the tour and that we had to travel to another place to have the tour. We didn’t have a car so had to rely on the resort shuttle which took us over 30min to get there and we had to transfer to a second shuttle!! We left our kids at the room thinking we would only be 90min since that’s what they told us but in reality it was going to take much much longer. We had to leave early and because we could not stay for it, we did not receive any credits and were almost charged $50 for this. It was a time share sales scam disguised as a tour. When I complained to staff they made me feel like I was at fault and took zero accountability. No apology, nothing. They were extremely rude and actually said “what are you looking for from me aside from just venting”. Claimed everything was on the form I signed which it was not. Needless to say I was so angry at the 1.5hrs wasted of my family’s vacation for absolutely nothing. The room was also terrible. We had to switch rooms as soon as we checked in as the toilet wasn’t working, picked up the phone to call front desk but wait, the phone wasn’t working either. Moved to a new room where the toilet seat was falling off, the towel rack came off the wall, and the coffee pot leaked everywhere. I understand wear and tear with hotels but how can this stuff not be catched by cleaning staff and supervisors. Also we spent $20 for refillable cups but the soda machine never worked at our resort. At least the food was decent and wait staff friendly. Kids liked the pool. I hated that we had one set of towel that we had to wash ourselves on shared laundry facility. Wish I knew that before and would have brought by own towels. Was sort of close to Disney which is why I chose this place.

Better communication would help for example having a better check-in system where there are maps and or pamphlets and of the resort and nearby places would be nice. Other than that. It was a great day for family and children. Check in gate was very enforced, which made me feel safe, but make sure you have your ticket with you or you have problems also luggage carts, or wagons to help with your belongings up for fights would be exceptional. There is an elevator so that was nice. The decor was on point definitely give it a 10 out of 10 specially for younger children. The whole house is decorated really cool and the kids loved it.

This is a VERY popular place to stay. There were tons of folks here in the lazy river. The water was not cold and it was relaxing to just float around. Although, it did get a bit too crowded at times, but it cleared out at lunch and suppoer time, The golf courses also had people playing every day. We had a room with a second bedroom and it was quite nice. Very convenient location being so close to Disney. You will be asked to join a sales pitch after checking in. They will give you something to join this sales pitch. Join understanding they are going to try to pressure you to buy, but just remember you can leave at any time. If we didn't have to deal with the sales pitch I would rate this place five stars.
