An unforgettable holiday adventure in sun-kissed Florida awaits at Disney's Contemporary Resort, an ultra-modern 5-star getaway in magical Orlando, home of a myriad of world-famous theme parks and epic attractions. Beautiful hotel and can't beat the location. Great shops and food options. Historic for being where Nixon gave his I'm Not a Crook speech. Plenty of space to explore. The Incredibles decor was well executed, though I thought it would feel tacked on. Only a couple issues. The rooms themselves don't justify the price. I'm aware you're paying for proximity to the Kingdom they're limited on space because of how the hotel was constructed, but there's nothing deluxe here. The fold out mattress was so uncomfortable I just slept on the couch in regular configuration.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times. I am a local and annual pass holder who has stayed at most the Disney hotels. I’ll go with the good then the bad. One good part is it is super close to Magic Kingdom and has boat and monorail access to the park. It has a good transportation system to the other parks. Steakhouse 71, Chef Mickey, and California grill are all very good restaurants just be prepared to pay. California grill probably has the best view of magic kingdom and fireworks as anywhere. The rooms are pretty decent in size. Of all the Disney resorts this is one of the first ones and still retains the original Disney magic. The bad part is the price. It is expensive. It has side rooms not attached to the main building where the monorail enters which are usually cheaper. My overall opinion is if you have the money and looking for a premium experience at Disney this is one of the best hotels. If you are on a budget I’d recommend the value or moderate resorts that can offer similar things you need.

This resort is great for waking up and heading right to the Magic Kingdom park; it’s within walking distance. You can also watch the fireworks from your room. The monerail goes through the resort, which is really cool. Chef Mickey’s is a fun restaurant for kids. But other than that… the rooms aren’t anything special for the price. I wasn’t a fan of the renovations and thought they were rather cheaply done for the cost. The benefit is location. This resort was better in the 80’s and even 90’s. But if you have the money, and like being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom, this is your place.

Didn't stay in a room so I can't give five stars... But I got to give them something cuz very nice hotel! The bartender was awesome! Our server was okay, But was really busy and barely got to us.... Food came out quickly the appetizers were delicious.... However my sons sirloin tasted way better than my New York strip... We ordered them well done (Don't come for me). They were more like medium rare.... They were too busy for me to even to try to complain... Overall it was okay but definitely not one of my favorites.

We recently stayed at the contemporary resort and loved it. Our room was in the Bay Lake Tower section of the hotel. We had a great view of the hotel grounds and lake. The staff was very friendly and always acknowledged us when we returned to the hotel. The location is within a 10 minute walk from the entrance to magic kingdom! Such convenience especially with small children (ours are 3 and 9). Always very clean and when the hotel staff serviced our room they left a cool towel character (flower!).
