I really recommend Contemporary Resort for guests wanting access to the Magic Kingdom quickly by walking or monorail. The private security from Contemporary into MK or Epcot is also very convenient. Restaurant choices were good. The pools and activities were also great options for a family with multiple aged children. We prefer theme park view to enjoy the castle late at night and early in the morning. I recommend this resort to all of my travel clients looking for convenience to Magic Kingdom or monorail x2 to get to Epcot. Buses are required to go directly to Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Springs, or Hollywood Studios. If you are staying for the purpose of a Halloween or Christmas party at Magic Kingdom, walking back or a quick monorail ride to Contemporary after the party ends is priceless!

Wonderful experience. Staff very helpful. Pool area clean and well watched by life guards. Fun water slide for kids and plenty of seating/lounge chairs. Hotel lobby was easy to navigate. Main floor had a nice eating area. Elevators all clean. Room was very modern and good quality materials used. Bathroom was huge. Balcony over looking magic kingdom was great. Kids loved watching fireworks from balcony. Monorail access was quick and painless.

I recently stayed at The contemporary resort and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room I stayed in was both clean and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment.
However, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The gym, while equipped with the basics, is in need of some maintenance. Several machines were out of order, and it could benefit from more regular upkeep. Additionally, the hotel lacks healthy food options, which was disappointing for someone trying to maintain a balanced diet while traveling.
Another point of concern is the room service schedule. Room cleaning happens at specific times, and if you miss it, you might have to go without cleaning for the day. It would be more convenient if they offered a more flexible cleaning schedule to accommodate guests' varying plans.
Despite these issues, my stay was enjoyable.

This hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location, walkable to Magic Kingdom with monorail service to EPCOT. That aspect of the hotel and the convenience that comes with it cannot be beat and commands the high nightly rate of the hotel. Housekeeping did a great job servicing our room while we were gone, so we really appreciated that! The multiple dining options on site were also very convenient. We had a great stay and would consider Contemporary Resort when we come back. With that said, for the nightly rate, this hotel doesn’t come close to competing in terms of quality of hard product or service. The rooms are spacious, and nice compared to other Disney hotels, but don’t stack up when you compare to true 5* hotels, which this competes with in price. Overall we had a great stay at the Contemporary, just think the pricing has got a little out of hand given the hard product offered.

Location is everything. The best views of the Magic Kingdom. Being able to lay in bed and look at the castle was the best. We had a great time here. The room was clean every day, the housekeeping staff was amazing. They really were. Very friendly and full of Disney Magic. The food options are excellent and just the entire atmosphere was energetic and fun.
