Simply love this resort! Had a forest facing room and enjoyed the scenery and peacefulness. Woke up every morning to nature is amazing. Recommend anyone to stay here to enjoy the nature. Though, we did get a connecting room without a need for it and we could hear most of what our neighbors were doing and that was unpleasant. Location was great to all the parks with complimentary bus service to all the parks and for Magic Kingdom there was also the ferry. The lobby was breathtaking the moment we stepped in and we loved every part of the resort.

Update: Ken and the leadership team at Wilderness Lodge connected with us and went above and beyond to improve our experience. They provided excellent service recovery and the customer experience that was missing at initial check-in. Very disappointing experience at Wilderness Lodge. We are Florida residents and have always been loyal Disney fans but will never be staying here again. We booked two adjoining rooms for my husband and 10 month old son and my mom. When we went to check-in, they told us the two room types we booked do not adjoin. I communicated that on the website when booking, it clearly asked if we wanted the rooms adjoining and gave a spot to indicate the last name of the other room. They had no regard for our request and no empathy for our disappointment. When we asked to speak with someone who may be able to help, we were directed to the manager Brianna who was deceitful, cold and unsympathetic. She lied to us and said the reason we did not have adjoining rooms was because the hotel was full. When we expressed our frustration she said there was absolutely nothing she could do to improve our experience. She did not offer any meal vouchers, complimentary valet or even a pin. I would have expected so much better from a Disney brand hotel, especially at the price point of a luxury hotel. I would suggest Brianna be re-trained in customer experience and some type of service recovery be available for unhappy guests.

Absolutely beautiful resort! Every detail is so well thought out in keeping with the rustic wilderness theme. This resort is right on the lake and enjoys gorgeous views and a lovely breeze. Transportation with busses and boats to Magic Kingdom were wonderful especially on a holiday weekend. Beds are incredibly comfortable and the water pressure is fabulous for the shower. The staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly. The pool area is stunning and again so well themed. Honestly the most relaxing environment I’ve ever been in while on a Disney vacation. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge. This section of the resort is beautifully themed and was kept exceptionally clean throughout our visit. The amenities were fantastic - both pools were great and conveniently located without feeling overly spread out. We especially loved the boat transportation to Magic Kingdom - it was a relaxing and scenic way to get to the park. Overall, Boulder Ridge offered the perfect balance of charm, convenience, and comfort. This will definitely be our go-to resort for future Disney vacations!

I stayed with my 6 year old son and it was legitimately the experience of a lifetime. The "fireworks view" rooms are definitely worth it and the staff is incredibly helpful. I also recommend the character dining that is in the lodge, Artisan Point. The food was too notch and every character ensures they interact directly with your table. I highly recommend a stay at the Wilderness Lodge!
