Great stay at Portofino Bay Hotel! Very well-maintained hotel with very clean rooms. Pools are also very well maintained and have amenities like towels, sunscreen, and fresh cold water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is very easy access to Universal via a shuttle bus or a water taxi. We took the water taxi and it was very relaxing with great views and a wonderful driver and it runs from morning until very late at night. This hotel has many restaurants as well as being able to order in from your favorite delivery app. Parking is either valet or there is a pay lot which is easily accessible from the hotel. Highly recommended!

A slice of Italy in Orlando. The overall experience was great. I loved my time at the hotel. The staff was great from day one until check out, They made sure that every question was answered. The water taxi and their staff made mornings easy and fun while saving my feet. I will visit again.

Extraordinary hotel, fabulous and friendly service. The water taxi to City Walk is a huge bonus, eliminating the need to go through security at the parks. It's also a safer option to travel if you patronize the multiple places to drink. The hotel itself was undergoing cosmetic maintenance while we stayed, so the exterior was all tarps and scaffolding, but it did not negatively affect the experience. The restaurants, bar and pools were great. We hope to return to this hotel the next time we plan a Universal Studios trip.

The water taxi to city walk and the parks was amazing! The pool and pool service was amazing! The slide was so fun! The tons of bars and restaurants on property!!! The beds were so comfy. Insanely comfortable. Housekeeping, bell services, valet, front desk were all great. My only gripe is the construction right now (it last until December 2024 I think) and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t very great and didn’t get super hot. But the shower was huge and great! Can’t wait to stay again

The rooms are dated but they are undergoing renovation. However, the Portofino does not disappoint because although the rooms may be dated they are nice and roomy with comfortable beds. The bathroom is very comfortable in spacing, and provides a nice deep tub for soaking. The best part of my stay which I thought I was going to miss due to the renovations was the balcony opera singing...well they bought it inside the hotel lobby and when I tell you it was absolutely wonderful...such beautiful voices of the male/female duo. There really is not a bad thing that you could say about this hotel even with the renovations going as the courtyard, and pools were in pristine condition. My family, and I had a wonderful stay!!!
