We just got back from an 8 day stay at this resort and loved it. It was very clean and the employees were friendly. We stayed in the premier superior master ocean front room which was incredible. We received a $40 gift card for a massage which was nice, and they allowed us to check in early which was much appreciated. The resort felt safe and was well lit, the beach was beautiful and clean. I received a service at the spa which was good. I would definitely stay here again. Some things to consider: This is NOT a party resort. That is great for an introvert like me, but my husband was kind of bored. There were a lot of couples there who mostly kept to themselves. They did have music at the pool every afternoon but shut it down around 7 or so. Again, perfect for me, but if you're looking for a party vibe, this resort probably isn't it. The food was good - some of the restaurants were really good, the buffet was hit or miss. We did not try the steakhouse (additional $). I like the variety of what the resort offered but felt like the quality could have been improved just a bit. Room service was prompt and always had our order right, but I think the menu could be expanded on a bit. If this were improved, this resort would rival the Sandals chain. Some of the concierge are pushy. When we arrived we had been travelling for almost 18 hours and just wanted to get to our room. My husband has a hard time saying no, so we spent 20 minutes with Abby going over every single dining option and were pressured to take a "tour of the resort" (which is likely just trying to sell you a VIP membership or a time share). Even after we said no, he wanted to know our schedule for the rest of the week. No means no! This was the biggest frustration I had here. And, you're almost forced to walk past the concierge every day, so we were continuously asked about our schedule, which I found weird. Another thing to keep in mind - most of the bartenders/waiters/gardeners only speak a little English. This is NOT a bad thing, but I did find the language barrier to be a struggle at times. All in all this was one of my favorite stays on our travels. If they could improve the food quality and the concierge weren't so pushy, it would be perfect.

Our stay at Grand Park Royal Cancun was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the personalized service made us feel like VIPs. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort—always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, creating a perfect space to relax and unwind. Every corner of the resort exudes comfort and elegance. One of the highlights was definitely the bars—each offering a fantastic selection of drinks, served with flair and a smile. A special shoutout to the Cassis bar, where the variety was incredible. Gabino, one of the bartenders, stood out for his exceptional service and warm personality. He made every drink an experience! If you’re looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway with top-notch service, Grand Park Royal Cancun is the place to be.

We really loved staying here. It was our first family vacation in Mexico and I am glad we chose this hotel. The service is very nice, the restaurants have good food, they clean your room very good. I was shocked how clean it was when returning from the pool. They change your towels twice a day. They have room service one time in 24h, which is nice if you wanna have breakfast in your room. We got some windy weather, and the waves were kind of big. But still, closer to the rocks, the waves are smaller and we were able to swim in the ocean. The water is turquoise, beautiful beach with white sand. They have some seaweed on the beach, but i saw they clean it in the morning. Because of the wind, they didn’t have umbrellas on the pool area, which makes it difficult with kids staying in the sun all day. But we’ve got some shade on the beach, they have a lot of chairs and umbrellas there. The waitress is all day around the pool and even on the beach, asking you if you want any drinks. One time they’ve got sushi on dinner buffet, and one time seafood like shrimps,clams, mussels and they grill them for you. I checked the hotels around our hotel when walking on the beach, and none of them compared with our hotel. This one looks nice and fancy, is new and updated. Overall, we really liked our vacation, thank you for the service provided here. Every single worker tried making your experience better. I would definitely return here. In the first day of arrival, they asked us to show the hotel and villas they’ve got, and they can give you complimentary nights for future visits at this hotel and other hotels they are partners with. Now I regret we didn’t have time for that. Thank you. Definitely come here for your vacation!!! ❤️❤️❤️🫶🏻

Most excellent for our trip. The room was perfect, the view of the water was beautiful. I was surprised that the food was extremely good as were all drinks from all bars. My favorite bartender was Gabino as he served me several different drinks and cocktails. Beyond amazing and will definitely return.

Overall a decent stay. Resort was small and perfect for those who want to avoid the huge resorts. We stayed in the master suite which had 2 separate rooms, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony. Very spacious but a little outdated. Good, fast service at all bars. Food was not the best, but didn't have high expectations to begin with. It tasted like regular resort food. They didn't have a lot of beach loungers with shade but if you go early enough you can grab one. Definitely family friendly and not a party resort. Would return again if I was doing a super short trip with family.
