caught staff breaking into our safe while we where out today. so that was interesting. when we asked about it, they didnt speak english, and gave us a paper saying we shouldnt leave valuables lying around....? in 3 weeks they havn't ever helped us when we've called room service, front desk, concierge. shower leaked aggressively, slopes make water avoid the drain in the bathroom, and run outside the door, and drip downstairs. a guy came for half a day and worked in there, didn't fix it though.... at the buffet theres often bad/rotten food put out. but lots of good food too! really loved the omlettes in the morning. and the view is great! love the ocean. some of the waiters and staff are super cheerful and helpful and great! sadly most dont speak english, and some don't realy seem to care a whole lot about their job... pool and towel place close an hour earlier then posted. tennis rackets, golf clubs are either old, broken, or for the mini golf they give you sand wedge and iron clubs, not putters. just a few things we experianced. lotsa people here so cant be all bad. we had to move rooms part way through our stay, the day before i went to the front desk to ask about staying, they said it would work and booked it, later when I came back they said, actually after i left they gave it to someone else. this was a small portion of the frustrating things i experienced... but really, I've never stayed at a 3 star resort... so maybe this is common... oh yeah, online photos are great! not so great in person. came for the big slides for the kids, they where closed 90% of the time we where here.

This is a great place for the money. The view is beautiful, and the resort offers many kid-friendly features. The reviews I read before my trip that said, "You get what you pay for," turned out to be absolutely right. There are only three elevators, and one was out of service for most of our seven-day stay. As a result, elevator wait times could be quite long. Some guests were also noisy in the hallways at night. On one occasion, one of the hotel-provided towels disappeared from our beach chair at the main pool. The hotel still wanted to charge us for the missing towel. After that, we made sure not to leave hotel towels unattended on our beach chairs. Our first room service order took 1 hour and 50 minutes to arrive, even though we were told it would take only 50 minutes. On our last day, we wanted to order breakfast through room service, but no one answered the phone despite calling 4–5 times. We eventually gave up and went to the buffet instead. Another frustration was that our room was not ready at the advertised check-in time of 3:00 p.m. When I went to the front desk to inquire around 3:10, I was told it would be ready in another 10 minutes because they had many rooms to clean. While delays can happen, this explanation was not particularly reassuring after a long day of travel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I am not sure I would use Costco Travel again for a trip to Cancun.

We just came back from there, it’s absolutely beautiful. The kids enjoyed it..the staff are nice. I would like to specifically thank Mellissa from the kids paradise and the night shows. She was amazing. My kids loved her especially my 2 year old. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort to all the families of all ages.

The food was great, service was excellent. Highly suggest the French restaurant and Wilberto as a server. He was hilarious and friendly and very efficient. Carlos and his crew at the pool bar were amazing! Knew all of our names by the second day and all of our drink orders. Family friendly resort! Easy to navigate. My only downside was the beds are terrible and the pillows are even worse. But overall, was a great week and they were very accommodating as a group of 17!

We stayed as apart of a large group. The hotel was thankfully able to accommodate our large group after other accommodations didn’t work out. The hotel is older but rooms and halls maintained and always clean. Beds comfortable. Staff always friendly. Beach in December beautiful. Where this resort falls very short is food, and entertainment. The main buffet was honestly the worst I have experienced. We did discover decent breakfast at the Italian restaurant. Lunch was iffy and we lived on chips and fries or sushi. Dinner we avoided the buffet and did the specialty restaurants… Mexican great, steak house should be called a grill house, the burger and chicken both great. French adult only restaurant we really enjoyed. My French onion soup and salmon were delicious. But I hate the reservation system. It’s not enjoyable to set an alarm for 750am just to ensure you get a spot right at 8am. And you can’t book with other rooms if your a large family ect. It all needs a redesign. The location is perfect and with some tweaks this place could really shine. At the moment it’s more of a lower budget resort. Ps please add an actual coffee bar with snacks and coffee served by staff and maybe some ice cream so you dont have to walk into the buffet to get some. An elevated guest experience will go along way with having more repeat visitors.
