The beach was beautiful and rooms were clean. First floor adults pool was perfect. Service was excellent. Shout outs to Carlos at the bar, house keeping, and Rubicel at the buffet. Be ready to make your reservations at 0800 SHARP. Overall, had a lovely stay. Our only criticism would be the weirdly stiff gelatin and odd cakes for all of the desserts. Elevators were also a headache at times.

Carlos the bar man at the adult pool was a gentleman and very attentive to everyone. Food is ok can be better - a lot of food served within the buffet and restaurants seemed to be reheated and on a number occasions was cold like out of a fridge. Rooms very nice and comfortable. House maids very nice and provided fresh towels when requested. When checking out was asked to pay additional fee as out flight was not until that night. Had to pay in cash however they were unable to priced change. I will say no more after that.

We had a great time. Other reviews mention the food a lot, but as someone who’s been on many vacations in many different countries, the food here is great. We had 5 children with us and they all were able to find something they liked every day. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time at the main pool/bar and they were excellent. Especially Carlos. Day one he remembered all of our names (including the kids) and knew what we were drinking. The rooms were clean and everything worked. The only slight “issue” was that on one occasion the pool ran out of towels

Lots of fun for kids, great staff! Marcelo was great at zipline. Louis at bar is fabulous, our maid Mary Chen so lovely. We've had a great vacation especially for the price. No illness for any of us :) if you come in with a 3.5 star expectation you won't be disappointed. Ate at Mexican resturant Oscar went above and beyond!

Just on our last day of our trip and will not be returning. Between having a 2 minute window at 8am to book a decent time if you can even get a time for dining reservations, to hoping you will get a seat by the pool or the beach without having to get up at 6am. Everything has been a wait here starting at check in. We came with a large group of people and asked to have rooms near each other. We were all in opposite corners of the hotel (wasn’t a deal breaker but just a starting frustration). The pools are freezing and hard to stay in for very long. At least one person from our group has been sick every day sometimes 2 or 3 people. The staff is ok, for the most part friendly but nothing above and beyond. Victor down at the beach bar was one guy who stood out. The water slides are fun and everyone had a blast on them. We waited 1.5 hours the one day for the rock climbing and zip lining. It’s an extremely slow process. The resort almost seems like it has more room for guess than the facilities can accommodate. The food at the buffet has been less than impressive, we’re glad we figured out to go to the Italian restaurant for breakfast where you can order eggs and bacon and not have to scrounge through buffet food. We thought we were just getting a good deal on our vacation but it’s definitely reflective of the experience we have had. All that being said the kids have loved it and will remember it forever for being a great time.
