The beach was beautiful and rooms were clean. First floor adults pool was perfect. Service was excellent. Shout outs to Carlos at the bar, house keeping, and Rubicel at the buffet. Be ready to make your reservations at 0800 SHARP. Overall, had a lovely stay. Our only criticism would be the weirdly stiff gelatin and odd cakes for all of the desserts. Elevators were also a headache at times.

I read a lot of reviews before coming here and I will put a caveat on my review that I am someone who is enjoys the highest quality good food, so in my opinion the place definitely leaves something to be desired as far as food, quality and flavor but if you’re not a snob like I am and you’re just here to have a good time with your kids you can find plenty to eat and definitely make it work to lower your expectations to the food flavor. I understand they are trying to please a variety of pallets and so in doing that the seasoning is kind of lackluster, but really it’s fine. I thought the SERVICE from food and beverage, housekeeping, attentive cleaning around the entire resort was very very good. At an all-inclusive, you kind of expect the guests to be a bit lazy and not caring and the team did an extraordinary job to keep up with the needs of the property to keep the resort looking clean at all times. The events for fun with kids and the late night theater was so much fun and the team did a great job all around for production value at those shows. Keep your expectations for food low and everything will be fine. We had one issue at the Italian restaurant with a server named Jorge. We are two women traveling together as a family with two children, and he was very rude to us. We’ll just leave it at that. Absolutely no one else on property gave us any issue. In fact people were very kind all around. Shout outs: Angel at check in is the very kindest person I met at the whole place. And Luis Gomez at the beach bar is such a great bartender, wonderful hospitality guy, and such a hard worker. He and Juan Paraona are a fantastic team to watch as someone in the food and beverage industry myself. Victor the server at the pool, Guillermo at Steakhouse. Fantastic service!!

Carlos the bar man at the adult pool was a gentleman and very attentive to everyone. Food is ok can be better - a lot of food served within the buffet and restaurants seemed to be reheated and on a number occasions was cold like out of a fridge. Rooms very nice and comfortable. House maids very nice and provided fresh towels when requested. When checking out was asked to pay additional fee as out flight was not until that night. Had to pay in cash however they were unable to priced change. I will say no more after that.

We had a great time. Other reviews mention the food a lot, but as someone who’s been on many vacations in many different countries, the food here is great. We had 5 children with us and they all were able to find something they liked every day. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time at the main pool/bar and they were excellent. Especially Carlos. Day one he remembered all of our names (including the kids) and knew what we were drinking. The rooms were clean and everything worked. The only slight “issue” was that on one occasion the pool ran out of towels

Lots of fun for kids, great staff! Marcelo was great at zipline. Louis at bar is fabulous, our maid Mary Chen so lovely. We've had a great vacation especially for the price. No illness for any of us :) if you come in with a 3.5 star expectation you won't be disappointed. Ate at Mexican resturant Oscar went above and beyond!
