We had a great time. Other reviews mention the food a lot, but as someone who’s been on many vacations in many different countries, the food here is great. We had 5 children with us and they all were able to find something they liked every day. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time at the main pool/bar and they were excellent. Especially Carlos. Day one he remembered all of our names (including the kids) and knew what we were drinking. The rooms were clean and everything worked. The only slight “issue” was that on one occasion the pool ran out of towels

We stayed as apart of a large group. The hotel was thankfully able to accommodate our large group after other accommodations didn’t work out. The hotel is older but rooms and halls maintained and always clean. Beds comfortable. Staff always friendly. Beach in December beautiful. Where this resort falls very short is food, and entertainment. The main buffet was honestly the worst I have experienced. We did discover decent breakfast at the Italian restaurant. Lunch was iffy and we lived on chips and fries or sushi. Dinner we avoided the buffet and did the specialty restaurants… Mexican great, steak house should be called a grill house, the burger and chicken both great. French adult only restaurant we really enjoyed. My French onion soup and salmon were delicious. But I hate the reservation system. It’s not enjoyable to set an alarm for 750am just to ensure you get a spot right at 8am. And you can’t book with other rooms if your a large family ect. It all needs a redesign. The location is perfect and with some tweaks this place could really shine. At the moment it’s more of a lower budget resort. Ps please add an actual coffee bar with snacks and coffee served by staff and maybe some ice cream so you dont have to walk into the buffet to get some. An elevated guest experience will go along way with having more repeat visitors.

Had a fun time at Crown Paradise Club Cancun! The rooms and facilities (except for a few of the restaurants) are pretty outdated and show a lot of wear and tear, but the staff and service was great! Eduardo at the pool kept the drinks flowing and was always kind and friendly. His service was spectacular! Carlos at the pool bar was always in a great mood greeting everyone! Fernanda and Marcelo were great pool activity leaders; they had great energy got everyone excited to participate. The food was quite good as well both at the buffet and the restaurants. Loved the chilequiles! If you don’t reserve a dinner reservation right at 8am each day when the reservations open, you likely won’t get a reservation or it won’t be till 9pm, so be weary of that. That’s my only food related complaint. Can’t beat the location being like 15-20minutes from the airport, but a lot of airplane noise every day. Would prefer less of this. The beach was a lot smaller and due to erosion than the pictures online, but the beach was still very enjoyable and a great place to play in the waves.

Had an amazing time with family. Thank you to the wonderful staff that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable; thank you to Antonio for keeping our room always clean. Thank you to Wilberto who gave us great service in both Sans Souçis and La Piazza made our family enjoy the delicious meals specially in Sans Souçis. A BIG thank you to David in the Palapa him and his team always treated not only us but everyone in their section like family and had quick service, remembered our favorite breakfast drinks, made us feel special and welcomed every time. Also in the Palapa thank you to the chefs and a special thank you to Amivele for her hard work and delicious omelettes and quick service. While we stayed at Crown Paradise we tried the Spa; the front desk staff are a little dry in their greetings and not really interested in selling services, but we absolutely loved the spa specialist; we got a hydrotherapy and facials; Margarita and Martha made the whole experience amazing, relaxing, and both very professional in their knowledge and techniques. We left feeling relaxed and energized, wished we could have had more time to return again for a message. Thank you to the bartenders, they are all friendly and always ready to serve you drinks; big thank you to Roger down by the beach, your drinks are delicious and you are always so cheerful. Also thank you to Jared in the adult pool, your drinks are delicious as well and you are friendly. On our way out a special thank you to Angel always so friendly and helpful with the pick ups and our luggage. We have been coming to Crown Paradise for a couple of years now and we have seen some changes that we didn't like and some that we did ( thank you for bringing back the smoothie bar for breakfast). We keep coming back because it's great to see the same staff working there and it feels more like home. We hope Crown Paradise keeps improving and brings back some of the other activities that we loved. ( Like the piñatas for the kids). Also we would like to see a snack bar upstairs by the adult pool, sometimes the elevators are full and going down for lunch is a hassle. Maybe building something simple by the chess court since that space isn't really used.

I just got back from a vacation with my four-year-old daughter. It was just the two of us, it was my daughter’s first all inclusive vacation, and we will not be going back. I read the reviews and went in with an open mind and a mentality to make the best of things, but it was very challenging. There were three families ahead of us in line for check in and it took 1.5hrs. We were told our room would be ready in a half hour, so we changed, went for a quick swim, and went back to get our room key. We were then told the hotel was fully sold out and they didn’t have a room for us. They are still checking other families in while this was happening. I explained that I made a reservation last month, and wondered why everyone else was getting checked in. The evening manager was apologetic and upgraded us. We finally felt safe and settled…. For almost a day. The daytime manager called the next day and said we could only stay in the room they provided us with if I paid an extra $750 USD. I said no, asked that they honour what they said at check in, but they moved us to another room in another building. The rooms themselves are dated, there are broken fixtures (we had a soaker tub with a missing hand spout, and a damaged door lock), and we woke up to a cockroach in our room. I tried keeping the room cool at night to prevent cockroaches from coming in, but the sheets are quite thin so it was very uncomfortable. Buffet food was generally okay, worst I’ve had in Mexico, but marginally better than resorts Cuba. A lot of items run out fast though. We went to the Italian restaurant for breakfast at 9am and were told they were out of bacon. The kids club changed their activities without notice, so we weren’t able to do crafts. My daughter also didn’t want to go down any of the slides because they looked dirty (I explained it was just water stains, but they were browning). Overall, this stay was far more stressful than relaxing. Between the check-in issues, being moved after being told we were settled, and the condition of the rooms, I would not return and would not recommend this resort, especially to parents travelling with young children for the first time.
