It's called makeup on a big!
This is our 8 time in Cancun and this time is actually a disappointment.. we've stayed at other older hotels before but the food was so good and the staff members were fabulous and friendly... not so much here unfortunately. 1st the room there was rain not a hurricane just rain and we had water in 3 spots! 2 right under the bed and 1 pretty big spot under the door walking in. When we told the front desk he said oh so sorry I'll have house keeping change the sheets!!!!
lets talk about the SHEETS! Look at the picture, I put my white shirt down for a reference, those sheets are anything but white!!! Mind-blowing! It's been several houses and nothing has happened yet still waiting to hear back, then there's the food. I get it's an all-inclusive so I wasn't expecting much but come on try a little.. it's really like frozen reheated food, and not much variety. Very poor selection at the buffet. Hopefully the restaurants will be better!
Anyways definitely not one we will bring visiting again! Hard Rock has been our favorite so far! This place needs to be shut down and to complete renovation needs to happen, just like the Now Emerald!

Hotel is not too bad. Some servers are super nice and friendly others not so much ( very bad mood).
Food was TERRIBLE. I have been to Mexico many times before and food was never an issue. Always great food specially Mexican food. At this hotel it was awful. Not a single day of good local food even on “Mexican Night”. Never had beed. All they serve is pork and chicken.
I wish i had some guacamole and chips but i have never seen a Mexican place that has no Avocado.
Snacks was terrible too. Only burgers and veggies and some fries. Probably the fries must be very expensive since they always had them in the back and you have to ask them to get some.
I had a really pick eater who loves fries, so they would have fries in the buffet in the AM for breakfast 🤡 but never for lunch and dinner so i always have to go to the snack bar to ask for fries.
Bottom line is… if you are looking to have a great experience in all aspects including food.
This is NOT the place.

This hotel was amazing years ago. Now the hotel has gone downhill. Employees are rude. Food in buffet in not good. You have to ask the waiter for bacon only to be told they don’t have bacon. No pool towels. They keep saying 20 min but towels never come and they just repeat 20 min. Mini bar hardly has anything but water in it and the water is a block of ice. Believe all the negative reviews you read on here because they are accurate. Room service is not good. Front desk is rude. Phone doesn’t work in room and took asking 5 times to get it fixed. They maid leaves hardly any face cloths and hand towels in the room. If you want good food go to the a la cartridge options if you are lucky enough that they might be open. Air Canada said they offer early check-in which they do not. Our flight arrived at 7am and we had to sit around in the heat wearing jeans and sweaters and carry some of our belongings everywhere we went for 7 hours. The beach is nice but dangerous to swim in. There were no nightly performances as advertised. All in all the experience was an irriritating one. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. What was once an amazing hotel has gone downhill. The employees give you attitude and are clearly not happy. The hotel is at best a 2 star now and not the 4.5 advertised. The location is great. Most of this vacation was full of problems and was an irritating experience. I would suggest you book elsewhere. I will NEVER return to the Crown Paradise again. Kudos to ruining our vacation with your lousy service, food and grumpy, rude employees..

Birthday fun in the sun, hotel was clean and neat, workers were helpful my only gripe was the food, not enough variety and the steakhouse did not accommodate me although it was my birthday!
Overall I would return and tell people to go because other things complimented my experience including my room view of the ocean, fast room service and the quality of the beds!
Water pressure was low and the water wasn’t hot enough however I understand because it’s warmer weather but a NYC girl want a steaming hot shower

Went to this beautiful resort as a surprise family trip for my birthday. It's a wonderful all included resort. They have a beach with life guards and many cabanas. I had a great time. I really enjoyed the different restaurants, especially Wayne's boots. I didn't go to the french one because it apparently has a dress code, and I didn't pack for that. If you want to go bring a dress pants and shirt and no flip flops. The breakfast and lunch buffets were plentiful and had something for everyone. You could ask the bar to make whatever drink you want. The super buffet was fine as well, but I found the foods at the restaurants were more satisfying. You just have to make reservations early. My kids had a great time as well. The little water play area for the kids could use a more active life guard system. I found she just sat on her perch and scolded kids for misbehaving after the fact, which I found useless. Because kids will go down a slide 4 at a time, and there is no one in the water to control it better. We limited our kids' time there as there was a lot of pushing and line skipping. Kids were clogging slides and bumping into each other, especially in the kids only area where the life guard does not allow parents to go. I have younger kids and didn't need any injuries on vacation. The swimming pools were great and we spent most of our time in the 2 larger pools although there are more, including an adults only one. There is a bar right there, and we had plenty of drinks right by the pool and had a great time in the water daily. All in all, my family and I had a great time. I would happily go back again without much hesitation. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping did a great job getting rid of the sand in the rooms after beach trips. If you can get a good deal I feel this resort would be a good experience, especially if you have little kids.
