This was my me and my fiancees first time at an Iberostar resort. I think that the resort is fabulous. I would have given it 5 stars but a few things kept me from giving that last star. First, the good. The facilities are great. The lobby, restaurants, walking paths, pools, beach, all great. I thought that the food was very good. They switched it up each night at the buffet and the other restaurants were also great. The staff was all friendly and attentive. We loved the outdoor seating and seeing all the wildlife. The pools were not ice cold. We loved that. A few things kept us from giving this resort 5 stars. First, the coffee options were not great. They only had some standard coffee machine that made ok coffee. If you are like me and love your caramel macchiato forget about it. No flavored latte here. You get some basic coffee options out of that machine and thats it. Its wasnt horrible, but not 5 stars. The rooms also kepts the rating down for us. Its not that they were horrible, just not 5 star. The bathrooms were nice. The shower was hot. But no bathtub. Thats a letdown. It didnt ruin our trip, but she loves to relax in a bath. No biggie, just not 5 star worthy. Also the outlets or should i say outlet in the room. There was 1. Yep. 1. Thankfully we always bring an extention cord with us, otherwise the phone charging and hair straightening and ironing would have had to have been planned better. So, other than a few very small factors, the resort is amazing. We would go back to an Iberostar again and we actually will go to the one on Cozumel island.

*Visited January 2025* This was our second time staying at an Iberostar and overall it was a great stay! The property was beautiful and the resort had a lovely staff. The food and security could use improvements. Our pros and cons: Pros- -This resort was beautiful and had everything you could need on site. We loved the beach access and pool. I feel like we could have stayed several additional days and done more that the resort had to offer! -The staff was AMAZING! We felt well taken care of when making our reservations upon arrival. The entertainment staff was fun, and we enjoyed taking part in the activities by the pool. Housekeeping staff did a wonderful job keeping our room and the premise clean. A great group of people. -Our favorite dining experience was the hibachi grill. Loved having this on-site! -We flew into Cancun and getting to the resort was an easy transfer. -It was fun seeing the animals on-site. Cons -I am a vegetarian and also allergic to tree nuts. My last Iberostar stay was at one of their smaller resorts which had less restaurant/food options. Looking at this location’s menus ahead of time, I was excited to see a better variety that fit my diet. This time, when I ordered the vegetarian meals at the restaurants, it often created a lot of confusion and was made to feel bad for ordering something listed on the menu. Like my last trip, I ended up eating assorted appetizers and never really feeling full. Also, I didn’t have any issues with nuts but BE CAREFUL. I noticed the brownies were labeled as nut free but clearly had macadamia nuts in them…So, the dietary options need help! -There was a large adult group being disorderly, specifically drinking and smoking in the lobby and messing with other hotel patrons making their way around the resort. It was very hard to ignore, and we kept running into this group everywhere we went. I wish the resort security would have intervened. I mainly felt bad for the young families on-site who had to witness bad behavior.

Done the rifle shooting activity with Karen today. She was very informative & patient showing me what to do to make sure I enjoyed it. I have seen Karen involved in a lot of activities during our stay & she has always been very happy putting the holiday makers enjoyment as a priority. Fabulous hotel, room & staff.

Me and the family had a very fun time at the resort . There were many fun activities to do and all of the instructors gave very good instructors. We went to the shooting range and the instructor was very nice and attentive to us. Very fun experience!

My family and I attended the show last night. It was such a good time! I would highly recommend attending the shows! They never disappoint! Gabriel was amazing
