Great experience 😀. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was great and drinks too (shout out to Capitana at Buffet by the Beach, Mayra and Chef at buffet ). Entertainment staff were great. Viviana at Concierge was good. Yoan at Front Desk was helpful and easy to communicate. Pool was nice. Vegetation and animals were amazing.

We just spent 10 nights at Paraiso Del Mar and all 4 of us had a blast! The only annoying thing was that right after checking in at 10pm, the concierge lady tried to get us to sit down and hear all the resort benefits, and when we said no, the kids are tired...she invited us many times to a breakfast meeting, so she could explain everything about the resort to us and help us make our restaurant reservations. She said attending a breakfast meeting "is the only way to make reservations" which I know is untrue, but it did make me doubt my research at the time...and then she popped by our room twice later in our trip around 9am to see if we would join for breakfast. Other than that annoyance, food was GREAT (better than a previous resort we stayed at in Maya Riviera) and the kids, aged 10 and 7, loved Star Camp. Rooms were super clean. Everything was awesome! We are considering trying Quetzal or Tucan next time just for variety.

Axel and coworkers were amazing! Made our family feel very welcome and included. We really enjoyed foam party and the movie quiz. Great energy and personality!

The staff was so sweet and incredibly friendly, they all seemed to truly love there job and make it a priority to make sure you are having a good time and have what you need. the Activities, specifically pool activities were so so fun. Gabriel and Antonio and all the staff were so fun and funny. there was always something going on and something to do. My only wish is that the app was more clear and the timing and location was right or more clear. overall great :)

This was my me and my fiancees first time at an Iberostar resort. I think that the resort is fabulous. I would have given it 5 stars but a few things kept me from giving that last star. First, the good. The facilities are great. The lobby, restaurants, walking paths, pools, beach, all great. I thought that the food was very good. They switched it up each night at the buffet and the other restaurants were also great. The staff was all friendly and attentive. We loved the outdoor seating and seeing all the wildlife. The pools were not ice cold. We loved that. A few things kept us from giving this resort 5 stars. First, the coffee options were not great. They only had some standard coffee machine that made ok coffee. If you are like me and love your caramel macchiato forget about it. No flavored latte here. You get some basic coffee options out of that machine and thats it. Its wasnt horrible, but not 5 stars. The rooms also kepts the rating down for us. Its not that they were horrible, just not 5 star. The bathrooms were nice. The shower was hot. But no bathtub. Thats a letdown. It didnt ruin our trip, but she loves to relax in a bath. No biggie, just not 5 star worthy. Also the outlets or should i say outlet in the room. There was 1. Yep. 1. Thankfully we always bring an extention cord with us, otherwise the phone charging and hair straightening and ironing would have had to have been planned better. So, other than a few very small factors, the resort is amazing. We would go back to an Iberostar again and we actually will go to the one on Cozumel island.
