My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this resort. I was there as the resort nutritionist for the week through Nutrition Travel Exchange, and from start to finish, we were treated with such kindness and hospitality. The staff was exceptional, the food was delicious and plentiful, and both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were fantastic. The resort itself was immaculately clean and stunningly beautiful. We’re already planning to return in the spring with our young son. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Our stay at Hyatt Ziva Riviera Maya was nothing short of amazing! The resort is beautiful, with stunning views, well-kept grounds, and a relaxing atmosphere that made our vacation truly special. From the food options to the pools and entertainment, everything was thoughtfully planned and top-notch. A special mention goes to Sandy, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Sandy was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about ensuring we had everything we needed. I had a fabulous time at this resort. The service is excellent. Rayli at the Corner Snack bar is so funny and friendly. Javier was so kind and worked to make it a special birthday celebration for us. Kevin leads the most hilarious and fun water aerobics. Jorge in fitness is an excellent trainer. His workouts are a great way to start the day. There are plenty of activities for everyone. There are four water slides at the waterpark. The food is really tasty. The rooms are spacious with two sitting areas. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall satisfied with our stay. Hyatt Ziva Riviera Maya set a high standard when we say “all-inclusive”. It is literally all-inclusive. From the hotel room, kid-friendly ammenities, friendly and at-your-service staffs/service waiters, cooks, room service, hosts etc even up to housekeeping staffs. They are all very welcoming and hospitable. They also prepared events and productions to make your stay enjoyable. Examples of those are fire dances, Mayam cultural show, karaoke night and the best part is the pool foam party. Take note, kids are included. Food is amazing, 8 restos around that serves steaks, teppanyaki, mexican and Italian too. Just check out the schedules as it rotates. Overall stay was truly memorable and enjoyable. Not so good location but I believe its on the process of getting the road more accessible.

The resort in general was disappointing. The name of Hyatt carries a lot of weight, and this experience fail to live up to its name. The first impression was a bad maintained and awful main road, couple of miles of bad maintained streets that are improper to drive on, filled with holes and without security in the main entrance, that already made us feel weary of the conditions of the resort. After the check in, we went to the only option of restaurant opened at the time, because the actual place we wanted to eat at was closed for not apparent reason, so to the buffet we went, the buffet is not a dedicated facility, instead is a Asian restaurant at night that is used as a buffet during early afternoon hours, it was dark and gloomy, bathroom door wide open that made the smell of cleaning products leak into the main service area, the place looked clean, but the food choices left much to be desired. The room was cleaned and spacious, and it had a jacuzzi inside which we did used a couple times, the trim was by far the best part of the experience, although the air conditioning made a very loud noise when the it kit started every single time, which made it annoying specially at night. The activities were slim, to say the least, the resort felt empty and understaffed. No breakfast offered during to “weather” and the Roots coffee shop didn’t prepare sandwiches before 11 am so if you happened to wake up early there is nothing else to eat until 11 am, so be prepared for that. Overall the experience was less that promised and it didn’t lived to our expectations, I do have to say that the Spa and the pools were the highlight of the stay. The many pools option made it possible for us to be alone must of the time and they were well maintained and clean, and lastly the Spa was nice and hydrotherapy was fun, good price as well after we took advantage of a promotion they were running. Both ladies who did our massages were incredible and nice, good attitude and knew what they were doing. It’s fair to mantiene the the overall attention of the resort by the employees was good, even above average. We do not recommend this resort as it falls short of the Hyatt name, however we do see the potential in it and feel saddened by our experience.
