We stayed at this hotel for two nights after our flight was canceled and we were relocated here. At first, we were impressed. The hotel has a modern design and looks like a high-end property. The room, gym, and restaurant facilities all appear well maintained and visually appealing. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the first impression. There is essentially no real beach — just a very small sandy area, with murky water and many rocks. It’s clearly not suitable for swimming. There was also a very unpleasant smell in the rooms and elevators. The food was good, well presented, and tasty, but the selection was limited, and there was a line to enter the buffet. For an all-inclusive resort, having to wait in line just to access the buffet makes no sense. The pools are nice, but they are spread far apart, and some feel quite hidden even though they are open to all guests. The biggest disappointment was the service. While not every staff member, most seemed uninterested in helping. We asked multiple times for water and cutlery and never received them. Coffee was not served even after repeated requests. We also noticed staff talking among themselves and making comments that felt inappropriate after guests made requests. Communication was poor throughout our stay — we kept receiving different answers to the same questions, and no one seemed properly informed. We travel to Mexico or the Caribbean every year to escape the cold, and this hotel unfortunately is a place we would not return to. Speaking with other relocated guests, many shared the same experience. This hotel had the opportunity to turn an unexpected situation into future loyal customers, but the poor customer service made that impossible.

Had a great week here over Xmas! The only thing keeping it from being a 5* is the beach and chair saving. We've stayed at several Hyatt all-inclusives in the last year and this one had the best food by far. Drinks were tasty with good liquor choices. What really made this place tho is the staff. I'm not one to usually name people in reviews but Carlos by the pool took care of us all week. A genuinely nice guy who kept our drinks full and anything we needed he delivered with a smile. Angel the F&B concierge was also great. We got cabanas a few days and he made sure we were taken care of. Those two really stood out ...but overall everyone we dealt with were great. Only issue we had was at check in. We had 4 rooms and things got a bit mixed up ....but it all worked out. For the price it's a great resort. Only drawback is the beach is basically un-swimmable. But we had 3 kids (9,10,13) and the water park more than made up for the beach in their eyes. They spent hours there most days. In some ways it was better as the adults didn't need to watch them the way we would have if they were swimming in the open ocean.

I have been to this resort multiple times, and each time it is five star experience. From the moment I arrive to the moment I leave - I feel pampered with amazing service. Everyone here is so kind and every aspect of the resort meets my needs, whether I’m traveling alone, or with my kids. Negative reviews are very confusing to me… The service is amazing, the food is five star and the Enterteinment… Great! Anyone coming expecting a lot of beach time should have done their due diligence and researched. This place is amazing. Special shout out to bell boys Dennis and Mauricio and Faviana at the front desk!! And I can’t leave a review without mentioning the VERY hard-working, high energy, Enterteinment team - especially Jackie. These guys work so hard to make our guest experience extra special. Thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay at Dreams Puerto Morelos! The resort layout is great everything flows nicely, with beautiful pools, easy access to the beach, and a relaxed yet spacious vibe that makes it feel luxurious without being overwhelming. Service was good overall the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with whatever we needed. That said, the food quality needs some work to really push it to the next level. A lot of the dishes came across as bland, and it felt like the menu could use more rotation or fresher seasoning to keep things exciting. They’re close, though small tweaks could make a big difference. Would definitely recommend for the location, layout, and service, but hope they step up the dining soon. Solid 4 stars from us!

We had such a wonderful experience at this resort! The entertainment team was incredibly engaging — every night’s show was full of talent and energy, especially the circus and fire show, which were absolute highlights. The dinners and evening service were fabulous. We especially loved Rue, Miyako, and La Parilla — every meal felt like a special occasion. It was also so convenient having purified water stations in every hallway — a thoughtful touch that made things easy and comfortable. Our bed was even comfier than our bed at home, and every single staff member we met was so warm and welcoming. From start to finish, everything about our stay felt relaxing and genuine. We can’t wait to visit again — highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!
