We visited in January and we’re going back in March because we liked it so much. We’re very picky when it comes to food quality and comfort. The food was very good (especially the Japanese, Steak, and Italian), and the premium lounge cocktails were great. The coffee shop made awesome lattes and cappuccinos. The staff even walk around with peeled mangos on sticks during the day, which is a super refreshing and healthy snack. The beds were very comfortable and the room was huge - some areas of the room/resort are dated, but you can tell they’re making an effort to improve it. If you like the beach and can’t vacation without it, this definitely isn’t the resort for you. But if you enjoy pool time, small sand beaches for kids to play, quality food, comfortable rooms, good evening entertainment, and a smaller resort to zip back to the room quickly, this is the right place for you. The resort is very close to the airport too, so it was easy (and cheap — $60 for a small SUV for 3 of us) to get an Uber, taking only 20 minutes. Definitely recommend!

Just got back and had such a great time!! The staff at this resort are so attentive and kind. The entertainment team hosts lots of fun games and trivia by the main pool throughout the day for both adults & kids. During our stay we also participated in a charcuterie board making class which was very fun and there were many activities to choose from. Rooms and all around the resort are clean, food was all around very delicious, favourites were the Italian restaurant and teppanyaki table (Eduardo). The ‘personal’ sized pizzas made to order during the day are so good. The one drawback is the lack of beach but not a complete dealbreaker especially if you are more of a pool person. Overall a great resort!!

We enjoyed the resorts modest size, making it easy for the kids to run around on their own. The room was large, had a great view and was central to the majority of amenities. We were glad to have preferred status because we enjoyed having the à la cart breakfast option. Cindy, the preferred butler assigned to us, was the biggest perk of our stay. She was excellent keeping me informed and took care of all our requests. I was not expecting that type of personalized service and loved it. One of the larger pools was closed for the entirety of the stay, which did not have a big impact on us but likely increased traffic at the main pool. It’s definitely a resort where you need to be up super early to get chairs, so be ready. Tons of activity’s which our family really enjoyed and entertainment was totally enjoyable. Big shout out to the kids club folks (Abril, Emi, Danna, Zuri) who did a great job. My kids appreciated that many of their activists took place around the resort and not directly at the kids club because they felt to old to hang out there. Don’t expect much from beach, though we still managed to find shells and play in the shallows. It’s more of motif of the resort than functional to use. My one major complaint was the noise of private function one evening, music was INSANELY loud in our room until 11pm. I had requested to speak with a manager, but no one followed up. So good luck if you have kids that need to go to bed and they have a private event in your building area. FYI the response I got this review was meant for someone else... I did not have delay in service.

The resort was very nice. The rooms are spacious and included a hot tub. I found the food average, some really great meals at the Italian and Steakhouse restaurants. But also very common at the buffet. We relky enjoyed the café for a good coffee in the morning. There is no bar at the adult pool, however David was really good at keeping the drinks coming all day. The watersides were fun and well staffed. However for the bad side of this resort. If you are a beach person, you will not want to go here, there is really no beach front. Pool chairs are almost impossible to get. If you don't have a chair by 6am, you may not get one. We did see more then one fight over people reserving charis and not using them. As for the drinks they could have used more consistency between bartenders. I did enjoy my time at this resort, but next time I go I would go to different resort.

Beautiful resort, close to Cancun airport but yet far enough for some seclusion. Room was amazing and the views were breathtaking. Very under-staffed. Long waits for drinks (regular and alcoholic). Mini-bar wasn't re-stocked daily unless requested which was annoying. If you're a beach-lover, their beach is TINY. It was destroyed during a hurricane many, many years ago. Many pools but ensure you get there early to reserve a chair or pay upwards of $100 for a cabana. There are designated areas for the upcharge "prefered" section but nothing to designate the status. The designated pool was overcrowded and I cannot believe they all were "members". If you like nightly entertainment they have events many geared towards children. Room service was speedy and many options and overall the food was good. We visited the steakhouse and the Mexican restaurant and enjoyed our meals there. I would probably come back but hope the resort addresses the staffing issue
