nice rooms, service, staff and location. Food, drinks and evening entertainment quality let it down. We are not picky eaters but it was not great - we have been to far better Dreams Resorts. I would say that the Spa is absolutely terrific and being situated in Puerto Aventuras is lovely though, nice to be able to wander around the marina, all felt very safe. Wouldnt go back to this hotel though due to the poor food.

A nice all inclusive resort. Very family friendly. We were there during the off season so only 2 restaurants were available to pick each night. Food was what you’d expect from an all inclusive resort…(meh for the most part) but food is different for everyone. The staff was very accommodating of anything we asked, super friendly. The building has some age but is kept up fairly well. During our stay we couldn’t use the balcony because of swarms of gnats, but the ocean facing view was beautiful. Probably not somewhere I’d repeat stay. Glad I tried it, and they did a lot of good things. It’s just a place I “have to” stay again

I booked a double swim-up pool room through Capital One Travel, and even received an email confirmation from Capital One stating the hotel had verified my room type, double beds with a swim-up pool. After a long day of travel, we arrived around 6:30 PM only to be given a standard room with no swim-up pool. I immediately showed the concierge and front desk my confirmation email, but they refused to honor it, insisting that “this is what Capital One booked.” My wife is pregnant, and we were traveling with our two-year-old for a friend’s wedding, not exactly the time to deal with such nonsense. After two exhausting hours of back and forth, they still refused to give me the room I had already paid for unless I paid an additional $400 USD. I managed to get Capital One on the phone within minutes, but the hotel staff claimed they couldn’t reach them. Out of pure frustration and with a toddler in tow, I eventually paid the extra charge just so we could settle in. The concierge, Emilio, apologized profusely and promised to make it right with a complimentary Bali bed or other perks, none of which ever materialized despite multiple follow-ups during our stay. The manager, Karen, was equally unhelpful. It was clear they cared more about squeezing a few extra dollars out of guests than building any kind of loyalty or goodwill. To make matters worse, on our last day, $300 USD was stolen from my backpack in our room. I filed a report, and instead of offering any form of compensation or accountability, the staff searched our belongings as if we had misplaced it ourselves. Absolutely unacceptable. The food was decent, but service throughout the resort was almost nonexistent. If you wanted food or drinks by the pool or beach, you had to get up and fetch it yourself while several servers stood around chatting at the bar. Overall: avoid this place at all costs. I’ve already told friends and family to stay far away. For the price, the dishonesty, lack of service, and outright theft make this resort one of the biggest disappointments I’ve ever encountered.

My Favorite resort. Been to many, but by far my favorite. The food, the rooms, the atmosphere are amazing. Heading there for 5th time in November 25 and bringinh my family! Can hardly wait! The Marina area is an added bonus!

I went for 6 days for my boyfriends birthday and got the preferred club service. The staff was lovely amazing and super accommodating, they made the experience lovely. The preferred service isn’t really preferred in my opinion, so save you’re money. We had to ask to get our swim up pool cleaned because no one cleaned it regularly, there were so many bugs in the water you couldn’t even submerge without getting things in your hair. Also on pictures you’re offered a beach bag as soon as you arrive in your preferred room I believe, we didn’t get that and had to ask for one. We also put a sign on our pillow cases to get our bed sheets changed and they didn’t change them. On the third day we got our pillow cases changed but not the bedsheets. They don’t remove your hotel pool towels from the balcony even if you have a swim up pool, when they clean your room, the towels stayed outside and it rained and they were drenched. We had to remove them. Also there’s no actual buffet for lunch or dinner, that’s not advertised. It was “out of season” so they closed that service and you had to eat à la carte at the restaurantes they had. For picky eaters I recommend you be aware, my boyfriend struggled to eat because he didn’t like the choices on the set menu, so he ate at the beach bar a lot. The room service English breakfast is 1 bacon streak, one hash brown and 1 sausage so I advice don’t order it and just eat at the world café in the morning; you will be hungry. They don’t restock your mini bar properly when they clean your room. Also they cleaned our room everyday around 16:40 - 17:30. Super late ! We were expecting our rooms to be cleaned much earlier especially as we were in the preferred area of the hotel. We stayed in resorts with a normal room and our rooms were clean before 15:00. We went out for a 12 hour activity we left at 05:00 for back at 17:00 our room still hadn’t been cleaned. The location is very far from everything, so if you have activities in Cancún you will travel a good 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes. There’s no shuttle service offered by the resort, have that in mind also. We hired a car, much cheaper than taxis. The power cut off on our last night, and the generator took a while to come on, it came on, then went back off then it went back on. The internet didn’t work properly that last night I believe due to the power shortage. We didn’t get a justification as to what happened. We assumed it was work that was being done close to the residential area. In my honest opinion the staff make the stay better, but I’ve stayed at nicer resorts with better rooms for a cheaper price.
