They were very accommodating to our dietary needs. The housekeeping is on top of everything. The only better job they could do was to handle the bees and deinks glasses outside. Simple system could work.
I would highly recommend spending a little extra money for the concierge and reserve beforehand at the nicer restaurants.
Very easy-going and accommodating, many sports are free.

This was our first vacation abroad with my family. The resort was nice, a bit dated but not a real big deal. Our flights were delayed and we lost a day but no one asked us for compensation for our missed day due to unfortunate circumstances beyond our control. Since our time was shortened, we weren’t met at the airport so we had to figure everything out ourselves. Food was great, entertainment had lots of energy. We didn’t find out about all the amenities onsite until the last day (sailboarding, snorkeling, where to sign up for tours etc).
I was really hoping for more, looking for more. The views were amazing, extremely awesome.
It would have been very over the top if we could have orientation the next day to walk us through the property and let us know what we had at our disposal.
Concierge was nice, Ramon, Jason was outstanding and can’t remember the other gentleman name but he walked us to our room and set us up.

We just left beaches Ocho Rios as a family with another family. We were surprised to learn the 90 minute drive advertised on the website was over 2 hours. The resort was older and needed updating and maintenance. The grounds were beautiful! The beach and pool were nice. There were some nice servers, but we felt staff was hesitant to help us overall, rarely smiling. There was usually a 2+ hour dinner and lots of waiting and over cooked food. The last day I called for them to clean my room 4 times and they never came. The rooms near the teen club will experience loud music past midnight. We stayed at beaches before and had a very different experience. We are likely done after this experience. The family we traveled with was the best part making it fun!

Had a great time here. See below for some specifics. Was made to feel welcomed from the airport onwards. Offered champagne on arrival. Bags taken to the rooms.
Tours were offered to new arrivals. Although my family were not given this courtesy, we took time to explore and asked lots of questions.
There is a shop for souvenirs, but the hotel itself is fully all inclusive. If you go anywhere outside, you'll need money. It's a beautiful island, but very poor. People are in need and all experiences come with cost.
The dolphin excursion is a must, as you actually get to swim with them. Lasts approximately half hour and the guides are funny, engaging and insightful.
Dunns river is worth a visit too.
This hotel has many water activities, which largely depend on the weather. This is where some improvement can be made. Captain Alex saved them in this regard, as he tried hard to make things happen when the water was safe enough to do so. Others can learn from his example and his care for my family was greatly appreciated.
Would I come back, yes. It's definitely great for families, especially those with younger children.

Quite a drive from Montego Bay around 2hrs. Staff is amazing, rooms are dated. Buffet was good most days. Your basics with some local dishes here and there. Juice bar by the gym was nice and the grill for lunch for some jerked chicken are a must. All in all decent resort that could use some updates.
