The food was always amazing, with lots of variety. The staff couldn't do enough, always there to help. The service was impeccable, and they were always really friendly. We did have to change rooms, some of the rooms could do with a bit of updating. There were many activities at this all inclusive resort and we never felt bored. My family and I decided to pay for a boat trip that they had on offer with a company they work with, which was absolutely amazing. There was quite a hard sell for a time-share like programme, but apart from that, no complaints really.

My stay at Dreams Rosehall was really well spent. Let me first start with the positives. The property itself is beautiful!! Almost every where you walk on the property you'll have an amazing view of the sea. The lazy river and slides gives a great mixture of excitement and relaxation whichever you feel for. The position of the restaurants are mostly central and you'll always in reach of a bar or food stop. The service is 5 star! The staff will make you feel at home. I experienced no bad service at all. The food is really good. There is a perfect balance of Jamaican and international cuisine. From the main buffet, to the a la carte, there is always a great variety with great taste. I tried almost everything. The only issue I would have had isn't really a big issue as but I do believe the rooms are bit dated. They are clean but I think with some small renovations they can be much better. All in all, it was an exceptional experience, thank you dreams for a great stay!

Lovely hotel. Amazing food options and a comprehensive cocktail menu. Bar, restaurant, and hotel staff were all incredibly lovely and caring, something you do not find too often in all inclusive hotel resorts. Janine at the bar was lovely, even know her favourite letter is J!!!. Service was very nice and rooms were comfy. Good views from the room and balcony also. Hotel was located about a 20 minute drive from the airport, a little bit away from all of the other hotels other than one next door. Means it feels like a getaway. What negative I will say is that the Playa representatives invited us to an ‘induction breakfast’ thinking it was to do with what services are on offer at the hotels. Instead it was a way for them to sigh you up to the company club so you get discounts for future bookings etc.. After not attending the breakfast the staff stopped smiling at and saying hi to me as we didn’t contribute to their sign-ons.

We stayed here during Hurricane Melisa, the hotel staff and management could not do enough for us in spite of the terrible situation that transpired. Constant communication and support and adapting to the ever changing situation quickly and efficiently. The hotel was hit very badly and yet ALL the staff remained positive and genuinely concerned with ensuring guests were still looked after. It was very upsetting to see the damage caused to this wonderful resort, however I feel certain that with time the hotel will rebuild and we will certainly be back to support and enjoy this wonderful, beautiful place.

This hotel does not align with the Hyatt Resort brand of excellence. Hyatt needs to take time to invest in upper echelon quality of aesthetics here. The lobby and the grounds overall are beautiful with breathtaking views of the golf course, beach and ocean. Customer service overall was good with a rapid response to an issue I encountered. The staff was predominantly engaging, upbeat and polite especially in the cafe and in the reception areas. However, room service was poor. It took 3 out of the 4 days of room use to receive service, evwn after speaking to our room butler. From what I understand from other members in our group that staggered into the hotel over the weekend, there were issues with turnover due to mismanagement of room capacity and guests. The food is 4/5, with the best being The Jerk Hut off the beach. The buffet can be hit or miss if you're looking to have good Jamaican food daily. I wasn't a fan of themed eating surrounding non-caribbean/Jamaican food, especially the Mediterranean night. The ackee/saltfish, callaloo, white rice, brown stew, curry chicken and porridge were a hit aside from the fresh fruits and veggies. The facilities are the not so good part in this experience. While the conference rooms were nice along with some ither areaa, the rooms and some other common areas were dilapidated and dated. Paint was mismatched or poorly applied in some areas. The walls need a good scrub down and repainting in the rooms so the white looks pristine. There were leaks likely due to extreme condensation from competing tropical outdoor temps and cool indoor temps. If there was a mold smell, it wasn't evident since air purifiying aroma misters were placed throughout the property. The smell was pleasant. There should be a service elevator to accommodate staff. Sharing the small elevators with guests and staff that had equipment and food was a challenge. The entertainment was fun and interactive: staff went above and beyond to ensure patrons had a good time. A positive side is the variety of amenities to enjoy all inclusively with dining, a cafe, pools, water activities, shops, seperate adult as well as family friendly spaces to enjoy for all. While this is a famly friendly resort, it was not run down with children. The noise level is average without the chaos that can sometimes ensue on resorts. It was overall a nice place to relax. I hope they take heed to the criticism and make improvements.
