We were at Moon Palace hotel for 5 days and travelled in August 2025. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine which was a nice touch,the room was of good size and clean. We had some complimentary snacks and drinks Its an all inclusive hotel,the breakfast was usually busy and took like 5 to 10 mins to get a table. There were lots of lovely options both intercontinental and Jamaican food. There were other restaurants and bars which all served lovely food and drinks. There were 2 big pools for adults and children,the snacks at the pool side was lovely too,i loved the cocktails especially the "Bob"i could have 5 of those attimes. At Moon Palace you cant be hungry as there are variety of food and drinks even right till 2am.There was a cafe.that opens till beyond 2am i think they have delucious crepes,panini,icecream and pastries. The hotel is family friendly and caters for all,hence it was always busy at the lobby. I would recommend Moon Palace for families and would like to visit again

Loved this resort! Incredibly friendly service, great amenities and nice rooms with comfy beds. Beach is great for younger kids and lounging but too small for those who like a long walk by the ocean. There are several pools, bars (including a great piano bar and sports bar) and fun areas for kids of all ages. Main buffet is really nice and accommodating to big groups right down to singles. Restaurants are also included in the price and have good food but were a bit slow. There is quality nightly entertainment and we found the resort to be fairly rocking for such a family friendly place. The flip side of that is that it was sometimes loud at night with music heard in our rooms till 10:30. The resort is right in Ocho Rios so you can walk into the town without needing a ride. It is also very close to Dunn’s Falls. It took us almost 2 hours to get there from Montego Bay, but the resort was well worth the drive.

We stayed at Moon Palace Jamaica in early December 2025 as a family with two kids, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The arrival was smooth, the transfer from Montego Bay was included and well organized, and once we entered the resort, everything felt calm, safe, and beautifully maintained. Even though Jamaica had recently gone through a hurricane, the hotel itself was in perfect condition. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Our room situation was handled with care - we first changed rooms to better suit our kids, and later were upgraded to a Junior Suite with an absolutely stunning view. The food and restaurants exceeded our expectations, the beach is beautiful and peaceful, and there was so much to do for kids - from the kids club to arcade games and evening entertainment. We also used resort credits for excursions, including swimming with dolphins and visiting waterfalls, which were unforgettable experiences. Early December turned out to be a perfect time to visit: great weather, lower prices, and no holiday crowds. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend this resort, especially for families.

Unique schulters

I would have appreciated better customer service from public relations and front desk staff. For starters they knew I was traveling with a toddler and put us in a room without a tub and were unwilling to change it making it impossible for me the bathe my child the whole trip. They were more concerned about money telling us we can upgrade to the presidential suite for $2k more in order to get a tub. Ridiculous. 2nd we had a roach infestation in our wet bar and fridge which is disgusting! The exterminator had to come and ask me to leave the room with the baby because he had to spray strong chemicals. Publix relations and management were not granting a free extra night stay after we basically lost and entire day in our room due the roach infestation and them not having another room readily available is ridiculous. An extra day should’ve been granted free of charge or they should have given a partial refund for the day we weren’t able to be in a room without roaches. The roaches were in the fridge and wet bar and on the counters. My child’s bottle and sippy cups were in that fridge and his pacifier had been left on the counter top above it. Lord only knows what was crawling all on his things that he had to eat and drink off of. It’s disgusting. We had to checkout without getting the situation resolved but I will be escalating this further. I am a wedding planner and work with a very big blog with over 1m followers and will be taking this to social media. I will make sure I tell all my destination wedding clients to NEVER book here.

Worst holiday experience in a very long time. Totally spoiled by sales pitches. Tried to up sell our room on arrival. Called us at 7am first day to ensure we went to a presentation. Presentation was a 2 hr push by 3 sales people trying to get you to buy membership at $100000. Just when you’d said no to one salesperson they handed to another to continue the badgering. Very unpleasant experience. Refused to give you time to think about it. If you thought car sales men and estate agents were bad, these guys are a level higher And just when you thought you’d got rid of them you were handed to the 4th trying to sell you something a single holiday at half price. Half a day wasted. Shocking sales tactics that would be illegal in many countries Spoilt the entire experience. I will never ever go back to a palace resort again.
